Hey ToD, you could've easily won the game if you just finished off one opponent before attacking the next one. You aggro too many players and when they retaliate you complain they team up. Otherwise supreme skills as always fighting on so many fronts!
Great video, excited to play some of these soon. Some old school FFA guidelines and concepts for you: 1. Hoard: never go over 80 supply (50 preferably) unless you absolutely have to fight. Money is CRITICAL to save up. Pro FFA players will have up well over 20k gold saved up for the end 2. Diplomacy & manipulation - you tried some of this - but early on, you could have manipulated others and convinced them to ‘temporarily team’ with you and kill your enemies - weakening themselves in the process. 3. Basic concept in melee (1v1, 2s, etc) is: kill the other team and you win. CONVERSELY, the concept in FFA is LAST MAN STANDING - you could theoretically just kill one person and you can still win. 4. ITEMS - I was praying you’d get some critical items... boots, vitality, scrolls, tps - but you had empty slots throughout. You’re a great player - great apm and awareness. Just thought I’d offer some helpful distinctions for FFA :)

lol, you are talking to one of the most experienced wc3 players. ofc he is entitled to whine if newbies gang him.. blizzard just changed the rules of this old game suddenly.
If one guy becomes problem to other players, that other players would think : Nah, screw others, i have bugger problem to deal with. He was close and in middle of those players, he expanded fast and thus become a threat. What would you do : Just attack others and let him for the late game ? It is in human nature to stop fighting each other and dismiss bigger threat. Teaming is part of the game and diplomacy often win wars. What he expected, to others fight each other while rapes everyone being in middle of attacking lanes of everyone else. That cant be done. PLay risk or smt and see for yourself. Play it and once you starting raping everyone, see others reaction. Point is to expand and stay low, playing smart is the key.
The thing about playing like this is that you have to attack the guy until they are dead, or else it will give them the opportunity to team up with other people. Should have killed the guy with the Blood Mage before attacking the Orc.
Holly crap! You have been whining about people teaming up against you since 1st minute! No one teamed up against you! This is ffa, this is what happens on ffa!
As it would happen in any FFA game whenever you play it. That is how life goes in real world! If you play FFA dont expect things to be fair! One game you are on the oppressor side and the other you are oppressed! It is simple!
As much as I respect Tod for his skill and gameplay he is a huge sassy bitch, even in 1v1 on his stream all he does is cry and complain, worst streamer ever
Inner fire does wonders in battles. Use it versus any race but Ud. Its one of the best abilities in the game. You should have put orbs on paly and panda too and stacked up more heal scrolls.
This is the most brutal style of RTS, there should be no grimacing or rule hollering from any of the players. They should be 100% in the fight as it stands.
Just conquering completely the north-eastern part of the the map, and then defeating the rest one by one, may had ensured the win. But so inconsistent overall strategy, instead.
Also needs to be said that even though Panda is great, you sacrifice so much needed hero kill power by going Panda over MK. You need that Storm Bolt late game to kill level 10 heroes and interrupt ultimates reliantly. Building a bit of siege for razing bases is also ideal---you spent wayyyy too long going through enemy bases.
That Phoenix tho At some point you lost and annoying others without the Chance of defeating them after that point is just stupid. The thing about ffa is that people always team up to fight stronger Players so that's nothing new.
You got a lot of people out of the game and I respect that. I would say the salt is justified, you really did get teamed up on in the very beginning and at the end!
People, stop complaining about ToD claiming he got teamed. When players are so close to each other it's inevitable to be attacked by multiple armies. He obviously doesn't have that much experience with FFA games, so why make a fuss about it?
dont working. when i join test server-custom game i have still only max 12 players map for create. i cant join to any game cuz game menu is cleare. i wanna create 24 lobby with some peoples or computers players for test or join something. sorry for my bad english
He played it all wrong, when the bang bang started he should have migrated to the mine with the most gold and camped for a while. FFA is a different skill set you have to pick your battles and know when to leave it. he played it like a 1v1 that will never work in FFA
LOL IT'S NOT 2V1 LOLOLOLOLLOLOLOLOLOLOL. It's a FFA game. You were the easiest target since you were on the outermost part of his base. Also it's good to 2v1 if it brings you an advantage in FFA.
