Follow up question: is acetone OK to clean wood? I have had it recommended to me.

@@dekirk4101 I wouldn't use acetone as it may change the colour of the wood. You can soak gun wood in acetone to draw oil out of the wood if it is heavily stained with oil, but it will bleach it.

The guns often show badly beaten up grips. Seems like they were mostly built to get them out the factory shipping door and mostly not fired a lot. The grips on this one look uncomfortable.
