I want to see Datto clean your vault, and when he comes over some obscure weapon perk combo, you give you reasoning. It would be fun seeing him react to it
This video was absolutely hilarious, cam, I love when you whip out your comedic side and combine it with your usual educational content, the result is a joy to watch and listen to!
The goal is to get so good that you could match up against any meta loadout and still go “Nah, I’d win.” The next goal is to persuade Bungie to bring back the Judith-D.
It's been 3 year's and CammyCakes has once again returned onto my recommended feed. I haven't played since black armory but it was a pleasure to see your vids have done nothing but become as refined as your references. Keep doing gods work Cammy o7
Love the memeier approach Cammy, ive had a pvp wardens law sitting in my vault for ages and i think im gonna unironically give it a go 😂 would love to see more meme videos like this in-between your usual light hearted comedy content
I’ve always favored Crimson on controller, so Warden’s Law felt like the perfect alternative for me. I love that gun. I’m hoping Bungie introduces another heavy burst hand cannon in the energy slot at some point so I can pair it with Conditional Finality.
According to mercules on the most recent firing range podcast, there are two more coming with the final shape. Alongside that, the frame is supposed to get built in unflinching and a stability increase across the board with final shape. Next week wardens should feel better for MnK after the hip fire inaccuracy changes, since when you ADS, it essentially clamps down your AA and accuracy cones.
@@evanotto7078 good to know. I only play on controller so I never had any issue with AA. I can also easily use it without zen moment because stability feels so insignificant on controller, at least for me, so I have kill clip instead. Great gun.
That ad-read was the most Cammy thing ever lmao. As a side note, deadzones make last word with 20 sensitivity really fun for practicing controller hip-fire aim
@@CerberusPlusOneI do too! Malfeasance feels good because it has a native 98 recoil direction, but it has around 10 to 20 less aim assist than other 180 hand cannons! Malfeasance sits at 50 AA, while other options like Optative have 67 or the Seventh Seraph have 68. With no additional perks on each!
Last word and Crimson don't change competitive viability between MnK and Controller because ultimately they are the still the same weapon and have the same potential. The only difference is that it's more difficult to reach that potential on MnK. So each weapon should have identical competitive viability regardless of input. The only differce should be along the Aim axis. Not on the competitive axis.
@@Triggerhappylolyou should try it with last word igneous hammer it cooks aim assist on controller go crazy and with the special ammo getting reworked it might be one of the best options
i got a slickdraw mulligan mecurial overreach for aim training purposes and this video came out right after, GOD TIMING (mulligan = more chances to shoot if i miss which means more training time for those wondering)
I liked this editing, made the yapping session much more enjoyable 😂. Often I tune in and just skip to the gameplay because most of what you say is already clear to me. But this editing was a nice touch. Love your vids and have been watching since black armory !
Tried my wardens law with fluted, steady rounds, snapshot, zen moment, range masterwork, and stability mod. Ended up doing very well with it on mnk after getting used to it. Quite fun with the build you showed.
I would definitely put Dead Man's Tale on this list because it has very low aim assist relative to other primary weapons. I have 6K kills on it and it's the only gun that I liked better after it got nerfed because cliking heads became more rewarding once it actually took still.
This was a great video Cammy I can tell it's a bit different than what your normal content is but this still a high quality vid like always so please keep up the great work.
I actually already did this with focus fury weapons. The juice is not worth the squeeze, you should use any other damage perk but I have greatly enjoyed trying to make all my shots crits to activate it on archetypes that already have a hard time activating it
I've seen people say Lucky Pants makes a big difference. Lucky Pants + Zen Moment makes it actually work like you'd expect it to. Need to see what i actually have for Wardens Law, kinda gave up on it.
I have a perfect 5/5 adept and I swear it's performance is so dependent on connection. Some days I'll never miss and others can't hit shit. I love it tho, its a very unique gun
Maybe that’s why I like wardens law so much. After I found out how to aim with it, I use it anytime I get the opportunity to in 6s-and for me being in gold rank in competitive, it worked out pretty well over there too. Maybe after my long break I’ll try to master the weapon so that I can farm hate mail.
Somehow Bungie thinks having lobbies with players so far above their competition that they use bad weapons to make it more challenging and still run over everyone boy I bet those people are having a real fun time
As a controller player this HC feels more consistent then any other hc I put in my hands, idk why but I been with this thing while choking on so many other HCs
Videos like this help me realize how bad I am at D2 PvP. For some reason my teammates (I play solo) still bitch at me in text chat even after having seen my K:D. I know they’ve seen my K:D because there ain’t no way they’re bitching in text chat without checking match ups.
Why would you aim train in Destiny 2... Just play a different game at this point, the standard for "Aim Training in Destiny 2" is just "Average at MNK in other games" Also saying slickdraw is throwing the match is pure cope, Bullet Magnetism is a forced training wheel.
I haven’t played Destiny for ages but back when I did the Cold Front was my unironically favourite weapon, it getting sunset was why I quit… Seeing it in that little corner made me sad.
I only ask this Bec I don’t have time to find out. Do you put the bxr in the middle because it’s balance of skill among other things or just because it’s bland? Imma use it either way cuz halo
Hey Cammy, I know you might have been slightly meme-ing but so you think using wardens law in pve could help for pvp aiming? How do you think pve play translates to ppv play as far as practice goes?
Wait cammy didn't you get a degree in exercise science?? CAMMY WEIGHTLIFTING??? Lü XIAOJUN!!! WATCH OUT FOR THIS CONTENDER (okay but please lmk how long you've been lifting for cause I've been watching you for like 6 years now and I have been studying Kinesiology and microbio for forever and absolutely love it)
God seeing this map made me remember some of my favorite moments in D2 PVP. Namely when I grabbed power and chain obliterated people with Remote Detonation, shame they haven't added any precision frames since the end of Y1. Great video though, really highlighted why I never even tried to use Warden's law when it first released, in spite of 110 handcannons being my favorite thing in the world. Just went and checked, I've still got that Warden's Law, Rampage, Zen, Ricochet Rounds. That's so funny.
You want illegal tech for The Last Word on MnK to fight all the pain? I am not making this up and it was my solution when they slaughtered it for MnK way back in the day, it's gonna sound weird but go try a basic 2 button wheel USB optical mouse from Best Buy, Amazon whatever, crank your sensitivity a bit to be not totally slippery but a bit loose, tap out your shots and make sure to slightly pull down as you tap, and it'll change how you look at it in the 2024. Bonus if you have the Laconic ornament. Sake of argument yes TLW got very nerfed for basically everyone, range tweaks are felt etc, however a lot of the crap factor feels way less so from that higher sensitivity that's compensating for the weaker mouse. Seriously give this a try, I'll maybe make a video if there's interest but I'm absolute average as hell but could do some work with TLW when they killed it back on MnK and less people used it.
We should also notice the shape of the weapon placement curve on the aim-training vs competitiveness plot. Should we remove outliers (striga, divinity), you will notice a POSITIVE correlation between competitiveness and aiming for you. This means that weapons that are easy to land shots with, will outperform the ones that take more skill. Or, you could say that there’s an overall NEGATIVE correlation between skill and competitiveness. Cammycakes literally laid it out on the table for us, folks. That’s why META builds are frustrating to play against, until you use it yourself. Cammycakes also laid it out for us to get better at the game, too! Pick up a semi-competitive, aim trainer weapon, folks. Does it feel inconsistent? That means YOU’RE inconsistent. Hit the gym, folks. Play better. Be better. I’ve been enjoying the pulse rifles, more specifically revision zero. It is competitive, and it does require for you to use the grey matter between your ears. I personally recommend it. See y’all out on the field.
Warden's Law is my favorite gun to mess around with. Even got a guy that wanted to 1v1 me b/c I was doing decent with it in Rumble. But man, when it stops hitting, you start hurting.
Ima try this since i love goofy but good loadouts Like the vexcabiler and swash biting wings Was putting some work with And having doom fings helps with not having max intellect or only getting one kill
Yknow what's funny. I love this weapon. It's my favorite in the game and I get consistently high kds with it. But I'm not as good with other hand cannons. Wtf
So what you’re saying is if I ever get a good weapon I’ll be a beast, because I’ve been using trash random rolls for a decade because taking the time to figure out what’s good and grind for it and design a build around jt bores me to death I just want to hop in and play lol
