I saw them in Switzerland, they opened with this as well... this isn't doing it any justice. It was immediate goosebumps all over. If you have the chance to see them live, do it. You won't regret it.
@@e.mailissimo2146 I actually saw them when they were in Zagreb last year, they were so great we all grew beards and got pregnant. Still envious of all the people in this crowd:)
Darja Blyumish Right?!? The music is powerful in vid but can you imagine the power hitting and coursing through your body in a live show? Especially if Aurora was there to sing Helvegan?
Truly Astounding..this Band are indeed a breath of fresh Air in a World besmirched by Gangsta Rap .. “grime “ whatever the Hell that is ,and a general Malaise in talent ..absolutely spellbinding in every way .. roll on Valhalla..every Royal Marine believes this is where we ascend to when our time on this Earth is done ..a Paradise of endless Wets and Wardruna as our Choir Eternal..I for one cannot wait.. do not fear Death ..embrace it ..it’s not the end ..it’s a new beginning....SKOL 🍻
I love at 1:20:15 when Einar says that they're gonna perform one last song and people scream "Helvegen", he then goes on saying: "its a song about DEATH" and people go like "YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAH!!!!". Its the first time I hear people so excited about death!
Einar: It's a song about death Guys in crowd: HYEAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH ps: Odal was my favourite by far, but Helvegen tickles my tribal DNA like few other songs do :)
Gods, I love this band so much! No words can describe what their music makes me feel. Runaljod just sends me to another dimension.. Thanks a lot for the upload.
where did they find them??? from what i know there is only about 34 lures in existance and ready to play...... :O it's perfect!! so fucking EPIC!!! i love it!!! Wardruna rules!! i wish some day to see them live!!
@@Desp_Signe_Vougioukli I'm fairly certain you can commission replicas from the Danish national museum, or atleast get extensive knowledge enough to make a replica yourself.
Love the horns, sounds almost like the goat horns the vikings used when alerting anyone on shore, they were not afraid of anyone, set up camp, then attacked...pretty ballsy to say the least!
The next time Norway's National Rugby Team plays against the New Zealand All-Blacks, I want to see Wardruna appear behind them blasting war trumpets and drums with a full scale war cry. If we're all going tribal, it's time to bring back our Viking roots. Add several dozen banshees dancing and shrieking away to murder their enemies.
She dances. It can help people feel the music more or get with the feeling of the rhythm more. It is especially helpful live. And sometimes she does traditional dances
