As someone who does 6x3s fairly often, I do it, cuz it's one of the few things that's actually fun in the game. Emphasizing not only timing, reflex and skill, but also teamwork and squad play. But also having that bit of competitive fun on who took out most of the Eidolon shields among the 3 VS players and so forth. It's got a bit of everything, engaging and fast paced. Also, an important tidbit is that anything 4x3 and above is actually pretty chill to play at, while anything less(1x3 - 3x3) is actually harder to deal with. The faster we are at one shotting, the less chance an Eidolon can knockdown/kill us, the less stressful it will be.
4x3 is the best I've ever done, but I can absolutely confirm that once you get to 4x3, the runs get a lot less stressful. I used to play Chroma (when that was a thing people did) and if I got the limb down fairly quickly (ideally one-shot) it wasn't a big issue. But if it took multiple shots, often the Eidolon would move, making me miss more, or move the arm in the way of the synovia, etc. It gets really stressful. I kinda want to get back into hunting Eidolons, but since Chroma is not really a thing anymore, I need to find something else to play and basically learn everything anew from scratch. As much as I like fighting Eidolons, there's always an idiot who doesn't know what they are doing and it's super frustrating. Either that someone is a teammate, dragging everyone down, which sucks. Or that idiot is me, which is just as frustrating. Feels like you just can't win until you are an absolute expert, playing with a competent team.
@@Yotanido lol once you get mad at other people about this, you should either start getting a permanent hunting squad or overthink how important the "perfection" actually is to you
Okay i was preparing for this long time, here it goes. I love your videos, they are amazing. The way you comment and describe everything is a bit hard to understand probably by those who just start with such content but for players like me that were and are still into the game for so long and even dont know that much about game mechanics or modes can still learn a lot through your guides. I appreciate what you give us and hope to see a lot of new and improved content or what i mean updated for the current meta or some other builds tips or off meta strategies you discover :) As of me i learned a lot and also improved my gameplay not only for eidolons but taking many of your advice and thoughs to my heart and evolved to be better player in warframe. Making builds and experimenting was never such a fun thing to do as before i watched almost all warframe videos of your creation so I hope We will see more content from you and thanks again for helping ;) See in the star chart tenno
What AMAZING VIDEO!!!! I have over 2k caps on both ps4 and pc and still learned A LOT from this video. You are very good at explaining stuff and putting a sequence of complex elements in a very easy way to follow. After the video explaining melee builds, this one was the best! U know your craft
Hi Hi status tab in your Profile will show very interesting numbers. Eidolon Hunters always check that when recruiting on public chat to avoid people who lie about the number of Hydro Caps to join
I still use Trinity. Without her, every new-ish player or players in general get downed rather often and I want to prevent that from happening as much as possible.
Would prefer some commentary about forcing voms especially the part where u have to wait ur team mates all to load, otherwise spawns kinda fk up for the fast charge
i'll be sure to refer back to this guide when i actually have friends and all the time in the world to set these things up and then grind all of the required focus nodes and items and weapons and overall will to do any of it in this convoluted and frankly pretty unnecessary way... so never. i would rather wing eidolon hunts forever until i get the arcanes i need than waste all of this time taking in all of this info for it to most likely go wrong at some point anyway. but i will admit this is a good video for people who keep getting turned down from having a role in eidolon hunts due to incompetence or lack of experience/gear.
I've been playing warframe for 5 years now and i still haven't managed to solo a tridolon. i don't use rivens much, especially on "meta" gear and i don't plan on it either. so far i managed to kill the second eidolon because he killed one of my lures at the last bloody second. 4 forma on the velocitus goes a very long way.
@ShadowNyx just because someone has been in the game for a long time doesn't mean that they can do everything. take your time. that applies to beginners and vets alike
@@KnightmareFrame My buddy I play with doesn't like to wait for a recruit chat. He's old and likes to just give it a go. It's part of the fun ya know. Plus when i've tried recruiting chat even though i've been going for a while I seem to find newish players who only have one frame for them. Basically an army of Volts and Chromas that want to show their damage builds and never have Unairu or healers. So I do that part nearly every time.
UW will always spawn under the eidolon ( they sometimes roll down a hill/fall in the water depending on where the eidolon is). Make sure your DPS is void blasting for UW around the ediolons knee limb for the right hitbox. If they are, then someone might have vacuum/fetch on their sentinel or pet (take it off). Someone might also be taking more than they need (technically you only need 1 UW each). Otherwise your DPS needs to spawn more UW for the squad.
Ah ... Become a 6x3 Eidolon hunter ... okay. Just need to do my First EVER Eidolon hunt (even though I'm MR18), somehow get the parts for those amps (I'm still only rank 2 with the Quills), then understand 98% of what you JUST said (that's a lot of acronyms). Easy Peasy. I'll just slide into the beginner Eidolon video's DMs right quick.
@@BigKab1 Its only this complicated if you're speed running to fit in as many hunts as possible. Plenty of people still chill and play whatever they want for normal hunts.
Very helpful ty! I noticed u only shot once with your melee gun. 1 shot is enough armor strip? Also wut is the best damage type if you strip all eidolons armor?
It was for dispatch overdrive don't need to strip armor and even if you fully strip the armor they have robotic health so radiation is still the go to.
Hey nightmare Frame, i really enjoy your advise and tips, thanks alot.... Would you ever consider doing a build on the pupacyst melee weapon? Thx bro for all your help
Is there a bug or a change to vomb spawns? I came to warframe after a while and I tried in 5 separate missions to quick charge a lure and every single time I had zero vombs spawn.
@@KnightmareFrame Okay, I thought I was crazy. I've been sitting here through almost half of night cycle and I haven't gotten the lake spawn once. I can hardly charge a lure anymore smh
I like KnightmareFrame because he's is not one of those other 50% warframe youtuber who use that stupid google translator voice where you can only understand half of what they're saying.
i have a question. how do u know where the eidolon (harry and garry) will spawn out of the water? it looks like u already know where he will spawn and what direction he will go once he comes out
@@bradleymanuel4586 If your question has not yet been answered, it is because they have exact points where they are going to leave and their hitbox is not in the water, it is on the shore
There are 4 possible spawn spots: 1. Close left 2. Close right 3. Midspawn 4. Longspawn Longspawn is distinct because it's at the far edge of the lake. With some experience you can differentiate between midspawn and close left/right (midspawn is slightly farther from shrine of course). When eidolon spawns in close right, their jellyfish beard's glow is visible underwater from the shrine, which cannot be seen when it spawns in close left (check azninvasion's newest tips videos he uploaded yesterday) Edit - i rewatched the video and KnightmareFrame mentioned about this spawn locations at 13.00
it is just me or void dashing to eidolons head right now doesnt count as headshot anymore ? since my virtuos shadow does not active at all when i do that.
Did a 2x3 solo with trin feeling kinda confident about this lol Edit: I can now do 5x3 solo And it's pretty useless solo bc waste of pads lol And twas with a volt Trin useless in 5x3 6x3
Rather dumb question, but what if Im going dps Volt and I have my sniper modded with Radiation already and I use Shock trooper, will it be Radiation and Electric, or will it just simple add up to the electricity on the weapon still resulting in only radiation?
do you mean after infusing it with Oberon's power? But why... its not gonna do any specific benefit. If you're not talking about infusing, then you're taking oberon and mirage, which are both not that efficient as volt with wisp/trin.
@@mojito4493 I'm also talking about the regular ones. Mirage isn't that useful I think... Been out of the game since couple months so maybe I don't remember.
you need to max level the "way-bound" passives with focus. in order to unlock and "unbind" it you need 1,000,000 focus and a brilliant eidolon shard, which you can get by capturing an eidolon.
Eidolon starts glowing blue for a second, shoot with Operator AMPS, Eidolon starts glowing red and creates an ugly sound, shoot that synovias down, Eidolon falls down and starts screaming, prepare Eidolon starts going back up, prepare more Eidolons health bar is yellow, shoot its head down
You can. Options -> Controls -> Customize Key Bindings. Towards the bottom, you'll see "Gear Hotkey", then 1-12. Just make sure you bind to the slot you have your archwing in :)
@@AnthonyAnalog if you're on ps4, do you experience a lot of lag? if you do not then how do i make it so that i dont recieve lag or input delay while doing eidolons?
@@arifwazir3584 noticeably more lag than on pc. I have a ps4 slim tho so less processing power than the pro. I haven't tried running over ethernet, I stay on 5G wifi, the ethernet tests I've run w/ my modem are oddly like 10x SLOWER than my wifi. But for most internet plans that's not the case. You might have better results over ethernet?
speed makes a difference and the time when you dash as well. also if you cant get the lock pin location right, try and aim towards the horizon slightly.
How do you make your game looks so fluid and without ANY delays? Just asking cause it looks so fluid and wonderful on you and on me it looks like lagging as hell even tho i have everything on max and still 80-180 Fps even in Fortuna :/ Do you have specific graphic settings or how do you get that done?
I'm not bothered if 1-7- 7 is best now. I still use my 3-2-3 as it is more all purpose and easy to use for me and requires no timing. I do need to build the new amps for MR though. Need to watch a vid on them though so i build ones i'll like. I understand that the 4 brace is now best?
Join a clan that has hema research completed. Get the blueprint and leave. When you have it just put tactical reload on it and shoot till you have 39 ammo left and then switch to your weapon you use to kill synovias such as the redeemer. you get the buff instantly
@@hammerheadcorvette4 If that sort of stuff happens, then i recommend playing with friends that understand that you are still learning, they will tend to get mad a lot less than if you joined randomers
@@bh5cp I was trying to make a joke there, talking about the bug that causes them to not get sucked into the lures when you pop multiple vomvalysts at the same time. Didn't make it clear then :/ sry
I just messed around in the plains last night with my brother, we had fun but didn't do much to the Terralyst...Terrolyst...whatever anyways it was fun can two people manage without a full squad? Also with whatever frame we want we tend not to follow the meta in games just whatever is cool and fun. Just curious. Edit: I did watch the video just genuinely curious lol currently watching the series just in case we go meta
tridolon is much harder than fighting the teralyst. Also knowing how to do a fight is not the same as following the meta, you'll get nowhere without knowing the mechanics.
This is just my opinion but I feel like if u got a competent chroma on ur team then probs better off getting trin cos fire rate is kinda meh if ur oneshotting shid
When you want to 6x3, then these specific time saving strategies are necessary. Otherwise, eidolons arent that specific, its just taking shields down and shooting limbs with the appropriate number of charged lures.
Its is literally levels to this lol. I just took the amp builds 1st. Kill a few and u will understand the amp more then come back and add the focus trees. Repeat.. with each step you take you will understand how the next step works and if it's even needed for your style.
i dont understand why is he shooting through shields to nothing? as i understand pre shielding is purely a preparation thing so people could instantly attack big guy. second question how is he unlocks lures instantly without a minigame poping up even?
@Daniel Ashar bin Mohd Fraziali * thx for answear, i understand that shield add crit and electric damage, but why does he shots to the floor or just open space through them?
So Quills has 4 amp combination and Fortuna has 3. The first 4 from Cetus are called 1,2,3,4. Fortuna has 5,6,7 1-7-7 means 1 prism, 7 scaffold and 7 brace 2-3-3 means 2 prism, 3 scaffold and 3 brace When you go to Quills and search ‘prism’ 4 will be listed and the way they’re unlocked over time when leveling Quills/Fortuna Little Duck. This is the order that the are listed. Same for scaffold and brace. So a 1-7-7 is a Raplak(1) prism, Propa (7) scaffold and Certus (7) brace. Hope this helps and yes I know it’s convoluted and confusing lol.
Super unpopular opinion, I went against the grain and used Mirage Prime as my DPS before and after the self damage rework. As my signature final shot to the eidolon, I literally stood behind them and shot them in the butt. I haven't done the hunt in a while seeing that I got everything I needed and moved on to other things.
I used to go with Mirage as DPS prior the self damage fuckery, how is she viable after the rework? Mind sharing some light onto it because I really... really liked Mirage DPS. Loved shutting people's mouths when I was one shotting limbs.
@@zuliuga123 the only thing that changed is what ability to use. Her clones is when the power is at. Clones will do a certain percentage of your damage. It's just a matter of angel yourself so that the clones also does damage. I also used Naramon's Void Stalker and Power Spike. Void stalker adds 50% crit chance. Power spike to not lose the combo count. To help get 12x fast, use True Punishment not Corrupted Charge. Reason is Redeemer combo count goes up by 5 regardless of how many pellets hit your target. True Punishment just doubles that. This is how I hunt and still works to this day.
