im by no means a new player i have 1500 hours between pc and console but i still dont have helminth. There's so many things i dont have access to because the game just doesnt do a good job of explaining stuff. Its the main reason i always end up quitting. So vids like this help someone who has as many hours as i do.
mood Its really annoying that they throw you mail saying "heres this new system" and then leave it at that. You arnt even told about the archon shard merging helmith section unless you rank up the faction

This is end game? I just started 18days in an just did this solo to get a crimson archon shard. Is this really endgame like nothing else is better then archon shards or nun?
The tau violet shard using the crit damage is fantastic. Chroma with the damage buff and increased crit damage can obliterate the tough enemies all while face tanking. Then put the tau violet electric damage and you can just plow through even the toughest enemies in the game. I have 1 for crit damage, 1 crimson for strength cause why not, and 2 violet for the electric damage because those 2 get buffed by the other violet and crimson. Naturuk and the Wolf Sledge just bulldoze
Violet shard with equilibrium effect is great on frames that don't use the mod. I use it on frost and rhino, because they have overgusrd and never can use health pick ups
I put 3blues for shield with 2 reds for strength on my rhino. Adding molt augmented for additional strength to give him a massive iron skin. TBH it all depends on how you want to play.
1 note for the Secondary archon shards. The bonus ability damge is Multiplicitive so you will see a much bigger damage bonus compared to jsut 15% strength
Lets say you have an ability that deals 100 damage and you have +200 strength on your build A single crimson shard will produce 100*(1.00+2.00+0.15)=315 damage If instead that shard was a Secondary colored damage buff you get 100*(1.00+200)*(1.00+0.15) = 345
Honestly for netracells i highly recommend a frame that makes the overall time of the mission be a lot faster. I know a lot of people like volt, maybe gauss as well because they both speed up the extremely annoying "search phase" where you have to run like 1500 meters at the beginning. Personally i run a 10% strength speedva. You can get through the search phase relatively quick (not as fast as proper speed frames, but still good), especially if you have her wormhole augment although i couldn't fit it on my build. But speedva especially thrives in the actual killing phase because sometimes depending on the room you get, the spawn rates can feel really bad or slow to get into the circle. I used to run wisp in public lobbies when netracells first came out because she was somewhat of a safe frame for me, but solo speedva has absolutely increased my clear time by a lot actually. Saves a lot of time considering i try and do these every weekend.
I have one question really Are Archon shards like how old arcanes were when you had to have multiple sets to use on different warframes? Or are they like arcanes now where one set (Shard in this case) can be used on all frames? So, if I have 1 CRIMSON Shard, can that be used on all my 30frames? Or would I need 30 shards?
Question regarding the usage of shards. If you install shards on a warframe and want to change them, do you lose the ones you take out? And also, can you use shards you have used on one warframe on another? or do I have to farm 5 shards per warframe I want to build?
kinda late for reply but i will try my best to answer if you remove archon shards from warframe you will not lose them archon shard that you installed on wf cannot be shared with other wf so you need to farm a lot of them
The ability damage is so restrictive and it may be. Multiplier but it literally works on so litttle abilities you cant even make a natural chroma effigi build with the ability damage cause it doesnt count the skin as the ability just a spector
The topez shard is great on mesa for the crit chance also shield regen on blast is not bad either. Clearly you have not even tested them out before jumping to the conclusion that they are bad pretty irresponsible
DE should make a segment that allows you to take 2 regular shards that are the same color and infuse them to be talforge Edit: What I'm trying to say is that we should be able to make a talforge Shard by combining two regular shards of same color? NOT combining to get (Green, Purple, Orange) Ex: x2 Regular Blue = 1 Talforge Shard
The only thing I feel this system lacks right now is an option to transform 1 shard into one of the other 2 colors. I don't know about other people, but for some reason I get like 2x the amount of blue shards compared to the other 2 lol
uhh that system exists already and i believe its called "ascension fusion", except its 3 shards and not 2 which i think is actually pretty fair (initially they were gonna make it 4)
@@NinjaSyao for me for some reason blues are actually the ones i have the least of lol. Before netracells and archimedia were a thing i used to have way more blue weighting than yellow and red. For some reason rng just hates giving me blues i guess. Overall it is the primary shard type that i use the least, but in terms of the coalescent shards it actually kinda sucks not having more blues
I'd say a Tau casting speed shard for sure. After that it depends on your build, box breaker Xaku would love parkour velocity, energy filled on spawn and increased energy gain for energy orbs while regular Xaku builds would love red shards to hit specific duration/strength goals.
I disagree on a few things: Elemental ability damage buff is effectively a power strength damage multiplier. If you have 200% power strength from modding/arcanes, proc radiation, elecritc, or corrosive, you would get 10% buff to the total damage, making the effective damage 220%. You point out viral which is indeed at max stacks adds a 325% damage multiplier, but the funni damage numbers game calls for multiple different instances of buffs, and this is one of them. Violet's max 50% critical damage over 500 energy is befitting of 8 out of 9 melee focused frames (including pseudo-exalted incarnon shenanigans). Melee critical damage is quite rare, and if someone were to invest 5 violet Tauforged Archon Shards for a max additional 370% Critical Damage buff, be my guest. Several Archon Shard buffs are great for comfortability, when you're build is good but you want some QoL. Amber's Preparation effect is an awesome niche way for not needing to spam energy pads at the start of missions for some. The bonus effectiveness for health and energy ones are quite potent on frames that can spawn the orbs and can compensate greatly. The Violet's Equilibrium doesn't require a mod slot and can be a good way to passively gain energy back and restore from chip damage with energy orbs. And Topaz is... Yeah I see what DE was doing and I like it, but not potent enough for the max health one and they didn't balance the blast-gating one well once it got nerfed. Although, I think many content creators forget how many great weapons do innately have blast. Great video though! Think you did a great job going over everything, seemed quite comprehensive.

Best warframe RU-vidr of all times edit: today i did the farming that you were talking about and i was luck enough to get 3 tauforged shards and 3 of archon shards i was smiling they and i been using a lot of Garuda prime lately and pure crit build and im having a blast with her
OH MY GOD THATS WHY THE REWARDS GAVE BEEN SO BAD. I literally just saw search pulses was a thing and was like oh what does that mean, and so my dumbass has been trying to find out what they are and why they seemed off for me since ive definitely been running the nission more than 5 times. MY DUMB ASS THOUGHT THE COUNTER WENT UP TO 5 NOT DOWN TO 0. Im there thinking "it says 0, so how do i get it to count up?" I thought it was trackig how many missions i had done and assumed itd stop me after 5. Im sure someone is going to say how clearly it is explained somewhere, probably very obviously, but you must remeber. I am the stupid man.
