A few things to note:
I originally failed this mission (37/37). This was the first time I failed in a long long time. I realized my mistake of lack of preparation but here is how to beat it easily with 3 things:
1. Have your whole team USE SPECTERS, especially Shield Osprey and Ancient Healer. If you get swarmed, best call a Crew Member, Preferrably with a Kuva Zarr on them that does Radiation damage (as murmur are weak to radiation). As you noticed Overguard does not affect the Auricle and Vitreum. If you can, assign these to hotkeys or PS4/5 swipe pad(or right d-pad, which is useless outside of relays) so you can quickly throw these out instead of going through the whole wheel.
2. The Silence subsume ability from Banshee is the best ability for any Mirror Defense because you only have to defeat time itself to succeed. This prevents enemies from constantly attacking the defense target while you collect Vosphene Glyphs. Always try to keep this ability up, have decent duration/energy reserves.
3. Summon and defeat the Necramech to reduce time of defense! Only thing is you better hope you have a decent weapon or at least one of your squad members has a decent weapon.
