The way you put it. No amount of modding will get us through there. Even the Tenno would drop out of transference in fear. We dont need to fight that unless we have a REALLY good weapon or weapons.
Other Artists: complain about how hard drawing hands is StallordD: makes a mangle of hands and manages to make them look amazing but seriously, i love your style and creativity for this, i'd definitely love seeing more videos about concepts like these.
Honestly these are really neat designs, but i do wonder how you would design Lohk(Void), a bit of everything? A snake that eats its own tail? Or a living tornado with limbs, objects, shapes and eyes floating around it? Man please go all out with this one
I just did MitW for Lohk, but I swapped it and Oull. My original design was really weird and abstract, and was a bunch of shape based humanoids that emerge and interlock, hard to explain. I wasn't able to execute it well, so I went in an entirely different direction.
Ngl, almost half way through and realising that you're going off mainly the man in the wall is insane. Your concepts are pretty in-depths and true to the writing of void and the indifference himself
honestly i'd love to see more of these kinds of weird freaky entities in warframe. seeing how they're pretty much the Void's crude mimicking of reality and human emotions, there's no end to the kind of terrors it can create. i REALLY need to read that light novel too!
I got an idea as to how these could work as a bossfight: Location: either deimos or the void How they would work: You would have to defeat a gauntlet of enemies to reach them, and once you have reached them, you would fight one of them (randomly picked). If you choose to do steel path, then you will fight oull, which would be a big combination of all of the other 8. Once you defeat the boss, you will receive a requiem stone (it would be a different stone depending on which one you fought), which could be used to either make a single weapon or to combine with all the other stones to make an ultimate stone, which could be used to make a warframe. Since there are a total of 9 requiems, that would mean there would be 9 stones, which I don't think would work in the foundry, so you would probably have to trade them in with a vendor to get the stone. If you have any ideas on how to expand on this idea, please tell me.
Been playing too much TFD, sad to see this only got 2k views so far. I have always loved your fan concepts! wishing DE would partner with you in terms of a lore related character/world building and make it real in game.

These are all fantastic. I’m not sure how you see Ris as the weakest, because it’s easily my favorite of these four. I think I speak for everyone when I say I absolutely want to see the rest of them.

These are so cool i would love it of DE decided to use these concepts for a new series of cycling bosses like the archons... as for the grab attack thing... what about a grab that you would have to use your operator to get out of like oh you grabbed my warframe but now my operator can come out and walk up your tendril and get at your weakspot. Could be a cool angle or a set of quick time events or something

And before we know, it will have created just another fractured construct, yearning to impose order upon something else." - Jahu: "In order to shape this wretched Horror, its maker has taken those who peered at it. In its hands, they were remodeled despite the screams. Operator, the creature now seeks to repeat the cycle with you! Stay away from it!" - Ris: "Yes, Dreamer - that is one from your ranks. Stay under its gaze and it reformulate your light in a similar manner. Such is the terror we fight against: a self-perpetuating horde coming from the direction no one can point." - Xata: "Alright, Grubber: here's the deal. You get wrapped in those Void-cursed tendrils, Kira will look like a damned fashion icon close to what you becomes."
DE needs to use these in game. I think they'd work well. The murmur already have too little in enemy amounts. So adding more would be great like these.
Those designs are so cool and interesting that I think they could be more than just normal enemies, maybe the Berserk's God Hand of the Murmur A group of sentient Murmur that help the Man in the Wall fight the Tenno
I actually imagined them almost like mission handlers that challenge you in different ways, but copies of them show up in their respective missions to fight. Granted, they wouldn't really care that you're killing them, seeing it as pointless, since what are a few deaths to the infinite?
Jahu is just a Boil Infested Ancient. Overall these are some pretty good concepts and I quite love them. Vome would be appropriately terrifying and I can see it acting as a nullifier of sorts, and Xata would prob be a field boss. Ris is honestly one of the weaker ones but that's probably because I would associate it with a trick of the light, rather than the power of light and its destruction. You have quite the talent with drawing hands and fingers
I think Jahu would be somewhere between a Boil and a Brood Mother, but yeah, similar gameplay purpose. And for hands and fingers don't let the final product fool you, it took me MANY attempts and a lot of referencing my own hand to get them looking right, I am in no way capable of drawing them off the cuff lol
Ok but vome would fit right in the game right now. It could be a miniboss counterpart of the fragmented one who kinda works almost like you described vome does. I really want to see that enemy in the game now.
I feel like Xata should deal true damage, or maybe even have a critical chance or critical damage mechanic. the truth is exact, it pierces. when something strikes "true" its a critical hit.
As cool as that would be, I really think you're under-estimating the level someone needs to be at to do art / design professionally. Artists far, FAR more talented than myself struggle to get work, so I'm at LEAST about a decade of experience behind in terms of working on a full commercial product in any capacity.
Blew me away with every single design. I know Vome is suppose to be simple and order but I wonder what Vome would look like if you took inspiration from Fear and Hunger's dungeon guard designs and incorporated more grotesque body horror; Vome reminded me so much of F&H on initial reaction. For Xata, I didn't even think of it as proboscis but more like tendrils that formed the crevices of the brain to create the illusion of a broken mask with its brain exposed. The direction of Jahu, Ris, and Xata have me very much looking forward to the last five. These designs are almost too good that I would maybe even say keep them for yourself for a bigger project of your own instead of sharing them as Warframe fan art.
I actually kinda wanted to avoid FULL body horror because I thought it was a bit too...easy? I find it pretty simple to make traditional gross stuff, so I wanted to try something a bit more abstract and restrained in terms of full on body horror. I had varying success on that (I think Netra definitely goes way too hard into typical body horror for the direction I was aiming) but that was where I was coming at 'em from. And as for keeping the designs separate from WF, I don't even know what I would use them for lol. I think I've kinda locked myself into the Warframe niche, and it's hard to get people interested in my work unless it falls into that (which is totally understandable and I get why they respond that way). My goal is to try and entice people over to my original stuff slowly with videos like this, but it looks like my audience has fallen off pretty hard recently, so I'm not sure if that plan holds much water any longer XD
Ok... can we make some pettition to DE, so they actually add those horrors in the game? I would LOVE to see them in action, BECAUSE they are not classic enemies warframe has. It will be fun and refreshing fighting them
Looking at your designs for these Void-like entities in your fanmade Warframe story document called Requiem, I do like they're made with the idea of being eldritich creatures spawned by the void as a way to manifest in the world of dust. With each one representing a different requiem with a unique terrifying shape. I would imagine them being commander units leading void angels and other corrupted enemies against those who are unfortunately find themselves in this hellish landscape.
I think the murmur are neat, but their design definitely limits their danger. One of them is literally a brick with an arm. So I hope some of these designs are realised.
Please do more content like this! We love the lore of course but they are much longer and in depth, so having shorter stuff like this that showcases your own art, theories, ideas, and creativity is also awesome! Keep up the tremendous work!!
