I purposefully left out the Archon Bosses, mainly because they are akin to sorties but locked behind weekly resets, they are good but they aren't on the same scale like Eidolons or Profit Taker were and I wouldn't consider them "World Bosses". Not only that, once you've obtained all the shards (5 of each) your finished, albeit it does take a significant amount of time as you get 1 from the hunt and 1 from the vendor EACH WEEK, still not as replayable as the current juggernauts we have on the plains and fortuna. And uh... "Tau Forged" I think I'll let the elephant in the room take a seat.

Yeah I was a bit surprised but I can kind of see why, Archons are just a weekly sortie but it sucks that Tau Forged shards are so RNG heavy

I inconsistently do my archon hunts because they’re just taxing tbh. I’m not up to snuff to solo them, but on the flip side I get paired with people who refuse to do the mechanics/rez people when they go down leading to wipes. I wish there was like, a res pool that the party shared and you could accumulate more resurrects for like every 5/10 Eximus you kill because it feels hella bad going down as the boss is about to die, not being rezzed, then having the host die and abandon causing me to die when we get migrated then having to start the entire encounter over again. Oh and screw Tau shards, I have a single red one and would prefer if they had a system where I could trade it for a Tau of a different color, or break it down for like 3 normal shards since I’m already spreading my small amount thin.

I feel like DE unironically didn't add meaningful world bosses to Deimos or the Zariman ship because they thought that would be too repetitive of a concept every time they make another open world...

I can kind of see that but if that was the case why design the previous 2 open world bosses with the idea of offering players a repayable fight with a reward loop that is satisfying I guess it's just a lack of Hindsight from DE.... or putting together a bunch of ideas that don't make sense and calling it an update every 4 months

Personally, I thought the biggest open world pain was Fortuna. Having the rank ups locked being pure RNG, and having 2 frames locked behind 2 separate factions… I actually thought Deimos was much nicer to level

The problem is that Deimos’ levelling feels very inorganic and grindy. Whereas in Cetus and Fortuna you gain standing simply by playing the game and doing bounties, Deimos requires you to gather various random resources and wildlife to progress, something completely outside of your normal gameplay loop. Additionally the actual rank up sacrifices are a pain in the ass to get, as opposed to the other open world where you’re likely to come across them as you play, or have them from making zaws and such. In Cetus and fortuna ranking up happens gradually but organically. Deimos forces you to grind the worst aspects of the open world.

I love the Sergeant purely for how pathetically easy he is. I find odd amusement in the whole going into a pub Sortie, getting him as a boss, seeing our Wukong rush ahead with Cloudwalker, seeing the boss bar appear, then counting down how long until he's dead.

The other problem is there are very few meaningful rewards that DE would be comfortable letting us farm ad nauseam. The only reward i can think of that is used enough that a farm from a skill based boss would be built forma, but that's been relegated to plague star, because clearly they don't want us to have access to that year round. Another idea would be a boss that takes a minute but at the end you can crack, like 5 relics and pick one reward, with boosted chances for rares. Would be a nice alternative to rad share groups. A rail jack boss that has a ship phase and then a boarding phase could be cool, but might risk scarlet spear problems. We'll just have to see

I do like the idea of mission that allow you to open more than one relic. For example I expect the Railjack missions to at least open 2 to make them worth doing, since there is no point in going there to open a relic with twice the time consumption.

I was really hoping that the New War would've given us big world bosses. I mean all ghe lore point towards Sentients being absolutely huge, we have seen how big some of then were during the Old War. We have seen some of them in the New War and the lead up to it. But we didn't get them and that was such a disappointment to me. Like whole deal with Scarlett Spear was us trying to learn how to destroy a Murex so I assumed that it was going to be a post New War system where a Murex would occupy a planet and we would have to do a couple of missions on the ground and then have an epic battle with the Murex in Railjack and stuff. Then there were the Ropalolysts. The first New War trailer showed an entire army of them. They even showed a video at Tennocon where you saw a tile within Praghasa where a Ropalolyst was flying around. But it was cut. We were even supposed to have a Ropalolyst fight on the plains where it has a piece of wall meat for a face. They even have an entire quest as a set up for that boss fight (Masks Of Revanant). They have an actual 3D model with different animations and attacks from the one on Jupiter ready. They have also teased us throughout the year that we'll face off against 1 of those huge Hunhow like ships from which we see their remains scattered all across the Plains of Eidolon. Like there are multiple of them there, and I have even seen remains of those in other places in the game as well. The New War utself shows us that they had a whole new Sentient enemy boss type on Jupiter. Like I thought that was the whole purpose why we got a Railjack and an archwing: to take on huge Sentient bosses. But nothing of this made its way into the game during and after the New War. Why spend so much time setting things up of you're going to scrap it anyway?

This,that was my last hope for this game evolving into something big after seeing how meaningless new war was after we waited for so much. No big sentients no space boss fights no tau system or new tile sets for any content I was hoping a new tile set for RJ At least but nope just a cinematic and go back to regular old ahh content smh.

Maybe they could just make good content and don’t use future content as an excuse for most of their updates being half-assed.

Not just bosses, we barely get any missions where we fight sentients at all. They’re this cool faction that was supposed to finally get its time in the spotlight, but it takes half a year after the quest for a piece of content with sentient enemies to come out and even then it’s a weekly event. No new missions or a new planet or sentient alerts or whatever. I really hope we can go to Tau in the future to catch up on our fair share of sentient content.

I was thinking putting a clone of lephantis/hemocyte in deimos as a world boss but the problem is the terrain and it would get stuck more often in the fleshscape and canyons.

Everyone on Region chat thinks my idea of making Railjack bosses would be dumb. Imagine essentially playing space Moby Dick, with you as a Tenno Captain Ahab. When I saw the Void Dragons randomly appear in Void Space during loading, I thought that was what DE was teasing: a squad based Railjack fight with a Void Dragon. But nope. I highly agree on Deimos not having an Eidolon equivalent. You'd think being on a world populated with pure strains of Infested would've brought out Lovecraft levels of horrors to fight. Imagine how amazing it would be to fight superior apex world boss versions of Lephantis and Phorid. They honestly should do more distinctive updates on the Infested in Deimos, I know it's very easy to make excuses for why Infested versions of Grineer and Corpus are prevalent there due to consistent excursions by both factions, but c'mon DE, if you can be bothered to cough up Tennogen on a consistent basis, a little tweak to make Infested be more distinct would be great.

It's basically a first boss in the game, it takes some time to kill with MK1-Braton/Paris and 3 hits from the laser usually kills you (decided to start a new account after leaving the game for 4 years - MR16) it's really cool and should be the standard for all bosses

I feel like bosses would be a lot more fun if they just had more hp instead of having invulnerability phases on a fast pased game, where you can finish a mission in under a minute. It's such immersion breaker to run around in circles while waiting for invinc to wear off and one shot the boss. If it is a power fantasy game, might as well just give us bosses where as you progress you actually kill them faster.

True. Either go eidolons route where invincibility is used as setup or go sergent route, but with lots of hp. Kela the tayme saying "I was expecting more" as she's running away. Or Ryl regor saying "No where to hide" as he litteraly go hide in a broomstick room.

This is incredible insightful. For one, ive been talking with my friends about how the meta is straight solo and fast and how that makes me feel uniteested in warframe, how I miss playing with a squad. Having more world bosses or challegends even If by some explanation you and your team can only use your operator is a amazing point. Is hard to balance since the community dislikes slow content but, as i think you said, is here where design comes in for balance. Making it worth and ok there will always be hardcore players doing it solo but for most it may become a co op activate (i don't like tough when is really optimized like the comp only works within these frames, but one problem at a time). Is really sad losing interest in these contents that even push you forward to doing clan standings (as a casual player I feel interested NOW that i know that i can only fight spider momma with my stand on max. I didn't new before and that is another WF problem. The communication with casual or new players). Railjack was something I was really looking forward to it I mean imagine boss batles with the railjack and your friends (or crew). I feel like this should be a post that DE had to think about. It makes the game feel more alive and not become islands of content. Deimos absolute need some boss interaction, maybe with duviri and the whole paradox thing heart of deimos could be affected? Like, imagine boss batles where you need the necramech so you validate for players why go trough all the trouble to do mother and grandmother quests and a fight. And these boss should be hard but give enough resources to make it worth the time invested, this is an amazing secret and insight you had.

You are missing the key issue with the eidolons and the orb mothers. They aren't fun to do, especially solo, which is a very important thing for a game. If you don't have the optimal loadout, it's going to be a slog to fight the bosses. And making their drops almost needed for a lot of endgame things makes it even more annoying.

Sometimes solo players forget that the game is called a COOP for a reason :Endgame should never be soloable. In my opinion and every veteran player that i know they believe that solo players are holding the game back because they want everything easy and fast. Raids should return as we have seen some bosses that were actually hard

I'd argue they are fun, because they're compelling reasons to feel fulfilled with the grind you've accomplished along the way to beating them, and then getting a high degree of reward along with it. As well it gives more credence to the mechanic that was introduced or expanded on, like amps and archguns were. They should be noted to be tougher fights than most bosses, because they're practically raid bosses, and that comes with the expectation that you need to learn how to defeat them first, not just faceroll over them two minutes longer than if you were prepared.

I also am hopeful that DE won't just be like "Yup that's the worlds here done" but instead maybe sometime in the future come back and add things even if it's way later. Like I wouldn't mind if they decided in 5 years to add to New War something they couldn't add now

Agree with most things said but I think you should've shed some more light into the fact that Eidolon hunts, while being great bosses also have the massive problem of only being available at certain times and that time being only half of when they aren't which causes various problems. Really don't want DE to make more great boss content to only lock them behind annoying time cycles.

While yes, it is annoying that eidolons are locked behind a day-night cycle this also adds another layer of skill to them. Your knowledge and mechanics are put to the test even more when you are time gated and can only do so many in one night. It rewards people that really invest into this activity and want to min max it by giving them more rewards. Now again, it surely is annoying but i think there is some good in it too.

@@imandreiftw9214 I won't argue with the fact that it makes for a great test of skill, but ultimately if you took away the time limit you'd still be able to use the knowledge and mechanics at the pace you used to, not to mention the amount of toxicity would drop, arcanes will be alot more accessible and therefore allow more of the playerbase to enjoy certain builds and playstyles, and the people who do hunts just to see how much they can push the limit can spend way more time in the activities practicing.

As a newer player (200 hours) fighting the Exploiter Orb with my clan was some of the most fun I've had with Warframe. I wish there were more bosses on that level of spectacle

I've never beaten an eidolon. it felt like more of a chore than it was worth because my max damage output was never significant enough to do the job before morning and I'd have to ignore new, sometimes limited, content to get what I needed for an optimized anti-eidolon build. that feeling over and over has been my entire warframe experience since and it just kinda reached a point where I was putting off the entire game cuz I didn't wanna do it. I come back for really big updates and play for a few weeks if it's not locked behind a content island I ignored but I think I've been out of the game for almost as long as I played at this point

Personally, I think that the problem with the bosses and enemies in general is the fact that while some of the bosses do have unique and interesting gimmicks that separates them from the rest of the pack, I think that’s all they have: gimmicks. I personally find them to not have much else outside of the different gimmicks needed to kill them and unique skill sets that separate them from regular faction enemies. If they expanded on this some more and developed something to make them more challenging such as maybe making them more difficult the more teammates you have or something else, it would really make them feel like bosses again. The same thing can be also said about the enemy factions as well except it’s a little worse in my opinion. See, here’s my problem with them: they simply don’t do ANYTHING. If DE changed the enemies to where they actually have strategies and come up with plans instead of defeating you (the player) instead of just rushing at you or hiding behind cover, I think that they would have made the game that much more interesting to play through. For the best example of this, I suggest watching the Valkyr Prime Trailer and watch how the Corpus use new technology to try and take her down.

Having harder, more intresting bosses is what most people imagine they want, but given the fact that Profit-taker and Eidolons are mainly played by the hardcore community within Warframe it seems like a conflict of interest. For instance, Archons probably won't be rebalanced for a while since making them more mechanically engaging (and challenging) risks casuals not engaging with it at all. Trials died for a similar reason, the upkeep was not worth the player engagement.

There is another aspect I feel goes unnoticed. nonleathal. there is a countless kill streak and massive numbers of dead trailed behind us. We need redemption arcs. a means of achieving balance. A means of putting down the murder hobo way.

Some bosses utilizing the Operator mechanics from The New War would be fun, as you can't outgear them to point of riddicule. Or simply some long cool dynamic puzzle tasks for neat rewards.

GL HF to us because on the dev stream before the last one Pablo specifically implied they wont be doing boss fights anymore because too hard or takes too much time or something. What a sad excuse. They'd rather pump out rehashed missions that are easy to make (zariman, archon sorties, lua's prey) and just sell more cosmetics and skins instead cuz they know it sells.

Honestly sometimes it feels like DE put out a mediocre to good update and then rather sticking with it and developing it, they just move straight onto the next update. Nechramechs are a good example. They come out with Voidrig and Bonewidow, have a bit of content with Orphix venom and new war and that's it... Where's the next mech? .... On that topic I feel they missed a trick by not having segmented nechramechs like armored core, I'm hoping we get that in the future

A few changes I can think of at the top of my head Tyl regor: lean more into the archwing submersible part of the mission, maybe make him an underwater boss Vor: Dive more into the abilities of the void key, maybe some shenanigans where he can mess with your controls or change what abilities you can use at a given time Jackal: prevent regular weapon use, emphasize on abilities or minions as shown in tnw veso parts These are just a few ways that bosses could stand out further, and im surprised the people at DE havent thought of it yet

In my experience tridolons were the most toxic and gated content in the game. Like people won't take into squad if you didn't meet certain threshold of terries defeated. And you won't get enough since no one would take you into squad with low amount. Or how people would judge you by the amount of terries defeated in your profile stats to assign you only secondary or tertiary roles because of that. Or how people would be super tryhard all the time pushing 3x6 or 3x7 a night god forbid something less. I guess this is how it is with any lucrative content.

I feel like a few things should be mentioned. First, Jackal is a great first boss after the rework. It's not a world boss, but it feels like one. So does Ropalolyst Nihil was a great boss which again, isn't a world boss, but in a sense feels like one. And I do like how they made some bosses more fun with the veilbreaker update

bad take, if they spam world bosses like eidolons that are heavy knowledge (and for their time a gear check too) players will just quit the game or not bother with them, for example WoW raids get way easier over time bcs of the stat increase players get so a simple group can just easily beat the previous expansion's hard content for wf even if you have full 2023 the most optimal set up you still can't do eidolons if you don't know what you're doing same with profit taker, add 10 more bosses like that and the game will require a textbook with chapters on how to beat each boss

Im all for Adding in Cycle Based World Bosses that have an emphasis on Replay-ability but coming from a Much More Casual pov, the footage used in this video as a base representation for what you enjoy and are looking for more stuff in warframe is incredibly uninteresting and would be something i only want to do once for progression then never do it again. Eidolon fights were a nice addition to warframe's first Open world experience but holy shit is it annoying to do. its laundry list of shit that you need to keep track of before you can even get the damn eidolon to appear, or if its already spawned, to even begin doing dmg to it. and the window to do dmg is so tiny that it makes the wait for the next window that much more aggravating. Just the amount of shit happening on your Screen for you to even be doing the Eidolon Fights or Farming the Orbiter is so 'Fast Paced' not because thats how the game is played but thats how youve made your own gameplay experience into. I pray for your Arthritis Pain Medication is strong enough for you after doing all the shit you do for a "Quick Kill"

Personal opinion: I think Planetary bosses need a slight rework, but not in terms of mechanics (sans Sergeant, who desperately needs a full overhaul). I’d rather see a _narrative_ rework for each boss. Imagine if, when you first partake in a node for a planet (sans Dark Sectors), you get one chapter of a “planet story” that culminates in the boss fight of that planet. For planets like Jupiter, one half of the nodes could be the OG Gas City playing out the original Alad V story, the other half is Jovian update with Amalgams and such.

I think DE keeps creating content islands so whales and dedicated players get reset to essentially zero, forcing them to either grind or pay up. I stopped playing warframe two years ago and haven't had much reason to hop back in. The devs should seriously reconsider the design philosophy they're using, and also to try to reduce the amount of unnecessary items, progression systems, etc. It's so overdesigned and parasitic that the whole game suffers because of it. Unfortunately, if they did that, then there would be people whining on launch day that they completed everything in like 60 minutes. Oh wait, people already do that.

These insights are good and very structured, although I wish I could agree more but what my understanding about these bosses is not they didn't want to get a new one, but rather not much people actually play it regularly. Their designs are great, yeah, but people i see mostly just want to be fast, farm shets, test new builds then go byebye until the next 3-4months. You rarely see people turn back for eidolons or Profit taker just for challenges. Majority of them just farm what they needed and simply leave forever, want credits? Index will still do the job, not only easier, it is also brainded. No much skill needed. People just want what they want fast, including me. They are unlikely to learn something new and be skillful so they could be more efficient in credit farm, If something like index is easily accessible and required little skills to do and extremely cheeseable and literally require little to no effort. Me willing to put in effort to learn to be skillful in eido doesn't mean others will also be like me. This is the reality, the human nature. Although I can agree with your points, but that is just good on paper, if reality is like this then yeah it'll be fantastic. Some of you in the comments mentioned the statistics from DE. Statistics won't lie. It is just facts. The eidolons and profit have high replayability, but you really need players to actually play it again, not just for challenge. That's the issue I see on world bosses like eido and profit. Majority of People just don't play it for challenge. They treat it like a farm they will eventually forget and never turn back. Everything exist with a reason. Content islands exist for a reason. Yeah you could constantly update the eido and profit for new rewards but even then, warframe market exists. Grind plat, buy the reward, simply go byebye again. No need to put huge amount of effort and skills just to get what you want, like you take singles into an extermination mission to enjoy the actual fun. It is not like I'm trying to be pessimistic, but this is the reality I see in majority of wf players. People already speedrunning archons. You cannot expect them to not cheese it. Most of them choose to be fast, rather than have fun fighting it. Feel free to disagree, and disclaimer: I am not targeting anyone, it is just my perspective.

They could make a hole open world on every planet, being new bosses with the planets unique theme. As for the (great rewards) I have a few but they not really (farmable). You’ll do once for yourself or less your helping other people getting. Ok, example being….can get yourself and (others) the planets unique vehicle for that planet and can use them for even (unique) missions. For reasons, I don't know what they would look like…but its a base idea?

How DE does bosses recently: Dont let player skip ANY cutscene: ( finisher animation, boss stage transition, mission load in lul). Dont let the player dialog no matter waht. (we all clicked konzu dialog by accindent and its anoying) Give the boss very boring mechanic's, we already seen in some way: lets summon some 1 hit enemys make boss invurnable. Dont give them proper resistance, no real wakspots to play around for. (all bosses are litterly 1 hit, excluding bosses with parts to destroy first). DE dont wanna try new things like: Make Operator only bosses (the community ask for this for yrs). Make bosses that needs you to be in your Necramech. Make a rail jack boss battle, each player in the squad has their own railjack for this fight. A pitch black infested mission were only your flash light give you visibility and everything that lights up (we actually had that but they removed it) if anyone say they dont have the manpower for such things: let me remind you they worked on a mobile version for atleast 3 yrs and prolly very little players will use this.

I agree, the game has a huge boss problems. The bosses are all just immune to damage before you fuck around for a minute and then you repeat that until dead. If they have mehanics that does a lot of shit to you, most of the warframes in the game becomes non viable. While doign the same thing as in the point above but with a spesific set of gear. Not being able to damage an enemy doesn't feel interactive, it just feels like you haven't done the minigame that makes you able to do damage yet. And for what you said earlier with just the old void keys and world bosses being replayable stuff that "rewards you for skill" I strictly remember old survival and defence missions in the void where you'd just afk for several hours, that's endurance and having 6 hours a day to do 1 stupid mission, not skill.

I think their is a loot issue you kind of gloss over. Loot? What would we actually be getting from a endgame world boss? Do we get whole slate of acranes just for them? Do we get some new endgame endless progression to accompany acranes? Do we just share the acrane drop pool with the other bosses? Or do we get some new progression systems that like the original Edilon one caps out and looses it's value after we buy all the rewards? Their's really no win situation here. Spilting the Arcane drop pool would be the easiest, but then you run the risk of players abandoning a boss because their acranes are not the most desirable. If they share a Arcane pool then players will gravitate towards the one with the most efficient looting. I've though about it and their doesn't seem to be a good fit except for turning world bosses into rotating missions like we get for relics.

Angels have a much higher chance to drop zariman arcanes than the thrax units, making them the best farm for those (as each one you kill also gives rep you can use to buy the arcane if it never drops). But once you finish farming the rep and arcanes there's little replay value.

I would like to add that some of the newest things added were during the Covid pandemic, and we're not starting to see a semi-post pandemic development. Guess is that DE's devs were slowed down A LOT during the pandemic, and they have to slowly get things back up to speed. I guess they were more concerned about adding content than giving additional bosses a go, or at the very least setting the stage for a MUCH bigger event than Narmer. Time will tell, and it's only the start of 2023.

It doesn't help that some of them are crazily bugged. I remember fighting the ropalolyst and it continually would grab me as rhino (I got a strength invigoration so I figured I'd have fun) with my lack of hp mods, the ropalolyst would just grab me after I died. I would, of course revive myself. This went on for like 4 times, constantly dying, where I was quite literally incapable of doing anything. I couldn't mash out, I couldn't escape into the operator or anything. I was just forced to die. I kind of like how they did the angels on the zariman tilesets. Thing is though they're usually not much of a threat though. I liked that it used both Warframe and operator where if it kicked you out of your Warframe you use your operator, if it's charging your attack, use your operator, And for of course for it's healing phase. I think there needs to be parkour focused bosses where you are constantly moving, actually utilizing the games movement system. I made a post in mind suggesting something similar to the angels but I think a boss you would chase in an arena where the floor is lava or leads to your death- forcing you to wall run would be great

Hydralyst is significantly harder than his counterparts because of his electric procs and magnetic be bubbles (bubbles do thousands of damage, is what the problem), they are not a problem if you have a Necramech, requires no skill or a party member to take them all down. Profit Taker is quite useless and is not as rewarding as the Exploiter (in terms of Toroids), and you gotta be almost invincible to kill this bitch even Solo (Necramechs made it cheesy yet again...) Other bosses either not rewarding and trivial, or too easy and boring.

Honestly would be nice to have the infested boss like almost similar to the island but it drops relics instead and it summons the army for every health bar you take and it has over 30 health bars and each of those health bars contain higher and higher health the more you attack it and enemies like a swarm and similar to like a big giant beetle or a serpent that you can ride I have to blow up cyst or hearts from the inside from being swallowed

In the first few seconds of this video I'm already checked out cause Eidolons fucking suck to take down. And I had to bash my head into exploiter for almost 40 runs and never got hildryn. So fuck them bosses. I'd rather every boss be like the ones we had before the open area bosses. Just cause they aren't so fucking tough.

i genuinely dont know many people who actually grind pt/exploiter or eidolons; in my opinion eidolons are fun but only with people, and PT is extremely annoying enough to make me not want to even touch it and exploiter is only really done when i need toroids. out of all the people i play with, i know 2 people who genuinely grinded eidolons but they barely do that anymore and they would never touch pt/exploiter. Im not sure if they will make a new world boss because the demand probably isnt there but it would be nice to have one that isnt just a dps check with a timer

IMO most bosses in Warframe are terrible because its difficult to have an out-of-control "overpoweredness" fantasy and bosses that feel meaningful. So Warframe bosses consist almost entirely of invulnerability gimmicks and weird interactions that let you do 1 hp damage to a 4 hp boss. Archons are a nice change of pace because they can actually be damaged with weapons and abilities that defeat 99% of the other enemies in the game. The incomprehensible damage attenuation of Archons is a bit of a drag, but I can see why its necessary.

"Deimos leveling is sloppy..." And yet it is far more consistent and faster to complete than either OV or PoE. You complain about the token system yet the token system allowed someone to bank up rep gains by hitting Deimos hard on days they felt like it, get tons of tokens, then just turn them in over the next few days. Yes, Grandmother tokens come from other tokens. And two of those tokens are so insanely easy to get you can obtain the Brandmother tokens you need by ignoring all parts of Deimos and just run Mother bounties! Oh, you forgot to mention Grandmother also has a way to get other family tokens without engaging with those family's activities, such as the Son's conservation. "Deimos is dead!" Whut... Every time I've gone to Deimos I have had little difficulty getting a PuG together. The Necralisk always has several instances open. Dead, to me, means no players. That is far from the case. Man, outside of your history of videos you have some really bad takes.

Honestly, there's no demand for bosses like these. It's too complex and long of a fight for what amounts to regional rewards. The only people who still do Eidolons consistently are speedrunners trying to kill as many as possible in a single night for bragging rights and nothing else. As for the orbs, I rarely find someone who actually praises PT's battle, a chaotic aneurism of enemies throwing blinding explosives all over the screen while you try to rotate the stupid elemental shield to the right one, while Exploiter, pretty much the only consistent thing you hear is "the best way to farm Vox standing" and little else. In my opinion, we're probably getting more bosses along the lines of the Void Angels and new Jackal, bosses that don't take too much time and have mechanics beyond the average gameplay loop.

Open world Maps and Arch wing are the real issue in my opinion. Bosses were designed for a different game entirely. The moment they started reworking Excalibur they basically made it so that you could shit on most of the game's content with just your exalted blade. They could rework the bosses, but honestly there's no point in it by now. At the end of the day the real bosses are the endgame high level enemies xD

I would argue that Fortuna actually has the worst progression, since it is theoretically feasible to never be able to rank up since there is no deterministic way to get medical bonds. Deimos, while sometimes annoying, at least always let you do something to progress towards the next rank.

"3rd orb will come soon" "3rd orb will come after The New war" We don't even know it's name, what it does for Nef. Why does it have strange mines on it? why is it in the coolant? (It's obviously the Orb that defends the space port, like how PT and Exp. defend their locations) I just want to fight it already. See the conclusion of Fortuna's story. Im hoping they dont go the easy route and Narmerize the orb, since PT and exploiter probably take place before TNW, it wouldn't really feel right to me if the 3rd orb gets to live. Surely Nef wouldn't approve of us disabling 2/3 of his Orb Mothers? I would want 3rd orb to be pre-narmer. I remember them mentioning Parvos for the 3rd orb in one of their devstreams, no memory of which stream. Scott said he'd like it to be the good parts of PT and Exploiter, but scott is out so who knows where her fight will be taken.

changing boss fights unless they give something more than 1 rare resource and a wf part would be useless for end game players since they already have the warframes and would essentially just make it harder for newbies? why would other players run boss fights when they are farming plat by either doing endless survivals for steel essence or steelpath fissures for the steel essence and prime part. Making bosses less likely to be farmer especially after they are made harder whether it is by adding more stages to the fight or giving it more health or less hitboxes. Maybe add a new "Universe" that players can travel to after they finished the star chart with other types of bosses or random event that opens a special planet or something that you unlock as decoration or just something else but yes I do agree that the bosses are easy but rather add different bosses than reworking them and making it harder for newbies nearly unplayable for a mr 1 fighting the archon boss or even a eidolon as an example
