I was fighting a giant robot that kept knocking me down while I was pulling it's armor off using Excalibur Umbra then after 1 hour my teammates finally show up. One had a kubrow and made it harder.
Exactly how i felt when i first watched the trailer i was disappointed my boy volt didnt even get the chance to be a badass we see him zap some grunts and thats it While mag and poster boy Exclibur are front and center getting all the glory volt is on the sidelines If this was a high school parody Mag and Excalibur would be the popular kids getting the attention while volt is just the third wheel Poor volt 😔
I love how this trailer show us the Tenno rebellion after the Orokin-Sentient War. To see the first Grineer being so perfectly clone with orokin ships, armor, weapons and Dax covering their back, it really shows that the developers know their own lore unlike Bethesda. Such beauty.
@@Monko_pop Eternalism my friend. And even before that relics in lore were schrödinger's cat type of deal, where they held all the possible prime parts, and ones opened one of these possibilities was realized, and the relic pulled that part from another time line.
"These are crappy enemies which can't seem to hit me, my Kubrow is able to take out solo, and I can kill with one kunai... better use Exalted Blade" Well, the trailer certainly captures Excalibur well.
@@Frost3yte make a status build on the blade with Chromatic blade. It gets stupid powerful if you use Chromatic blade plus conditioned overload and 4 dual stat mods and melee prowess and drifting contact!
@@MHChang2014 Just tired of all the "Play Warfame, it's Destiny but better" comments. I've played WF since Closed Beta and Destiny since D1 launched. They're really not similar at all. Even the looter shooter aspect of them is different.
@Veronica Holy mother of god if this was real i would totally piss myself. And this could only be the main storyline, other substories could be thrown in between those like the backstory of the grineer, thr backstory of the corpus, orokin creating the sentients. And we are not talking about the warframes themselves. We could learn what kind of persons they really were. We could learn what kind of person Mirage was, or, what horrors Valkyr had to face, the potential is basically endless
One thing I really like about this cinematic, that I don't see a lot of people talking about, is how the different frames are characterized Excalibur is determined but flashy, mag is a total force of destruction, and volt is especially characterized as a bit jumpy and casual. The way he looks behind himself while he's running, and stumbles when the ship crashed before doing a little half-jog to catch up with the others. It really helps to make them feel like individuals, which I love
And I like how chill Excalibur and Mag were walking up the steps with the crash and explosions next to them. They knew it couldn't hurt them but Volt's operator was more like "Yeah, but fire bad".
Nice that both the characterizion for both Volt and Mag fit their 1999 counterparts: Amir and Aoi.. Other then the flashy bit, determined fits Arthur quite well.
It's not p2w. I've played 5k hours. No matter what people tell you, it's not p2w. It's just that there is a big thing called fashion frame in this game, flexing your status - essentially they get all their money from cosmetics. NOW you can pay for items if you wanna skip some grind but I haven't payed for anything but cosmetics.
My Name I don’t think the guy was implying was implying that it is pay to win, but implying that everything doesn’t cost a dime. The only problem I have when playing Warframe are... weapon and Warframe slots
@@Shiddaruto DE is revamping the prologue of the game to better allow new players to understand what is going on etc, this trailer is going to show when you first start the game with a new account, after that you'll most likely move onto the frame select screen where you choose which of the three in the trailer you want to start with
In reality, Inaros, Gara, and a few other Frames could solo all of that. These 3 did what 1 could do, that or the Grineer in this trailer were ridiculously more brave or stupid than your average grineer these days. Then again, it has been 2,000 years since what happened in that trailer.
For those of y’all who haven’t played Warframe yet, and have had your interest sparked from this trailer, here’s some info: This trailer is 90% accurate. The only thing that it’s missing is the fact that these are just the Starter Warframes. In reality you can become so much more powerful. And we also have space cats and colorful skins
@German Ugalde wouldn't taking down three greenier ships with one arrow be op enough? Hell, I'm mr 14 and umbra main with a op build and even I can't do that, also excalibur basically one shoted everyone in that war scene.
@German Ugalde only fashion is endgame , cause it is pve based game. I never care about how next person to me powerful is all I care about how good he looks.
@@Shadow_of_Christ The Goverment wants us to thinks that it is a meme. But we ALL know its not. The US goverment is hiding aliens from us and WE need to see them !!!
Bought platinum because I felt it's unfair to play such a good game without paying a dime. It's such an awesome game and the quests lore keep getting better and better.
My first Prime Pack was bought along the same reasoning: I was feeling kinda ashamed about playing this awesomeness freely... ...I think I've given them around 600€ in 4 years, by now...and I got my credit card on quick-draw for that ember/frost dual pack as soon as it gets unvaulted! 🤣🤣🤣
this is the only game i bought platinum or another kind of coin on a game. They deserve support, they did a master piece from nothing and its free... a lot of game's creators must learn from here...
I really wish that if you're in solo and have volt or gauss, it'll slow everything down around them instead of speeding up. It would be a lot smoother and helpful
I find Volt's lack of being shown off to be fair when we first saw what type of soldiers they were killing... The lore and theories it sparked was amazing.
This is almost accurate: 1. Mag dealt damage 2. The kubrow didn't clip into the floor 3. The Excalibur didn't just spend the whole time spamming E Aside from that it's perfect
What on earth r u talking about, she is amazing if one knows how to use her. Now, Mag is a frame I actually agree should be replaced as a starter frame. She can be so good and can actually just wreck things no problem but one needs to know how to build with mods and how to synergize her abilities. Most beginner players don't know anything about that. I would honestly replace her with Loki. Then u would have a frame who's more weapons based, a frame who is more element ability based, and one who is stealth based. That would be a good lineup for starters as an intro different aspects of the game where u r supposed to be a magical space ninja
You know a max strength Volt is still faster right? Well not even max strength. My Volt sitting at 314 strength can beat my maxed out sprint speed Gauss.
@@alexben5074 Oh I have, a few clan mates took out Nidus, volt, Wisp and Gauss out one day. We still have not seen him come back. Were prety sure he found a way to break Primed Soon tm and is already playing the new war.
As a Founder of Warframe, I still play and even though there have been many changes, I am still amazed by the game. Definitely one of the best free to play game since 2013.
Tips for new players. Never walk. Shineys are your friends. Make sure to get slots. With these three tips you’ll eventually be able to find out what the actual heck this trailer was talking about lore-wise in approximately 80 hours. Have fun, fellow space ninjas, be responsible with your plat. And... Enjoy the grind.
When I first started playing, I wasted my plat on a Syandana. Regretted it literally 20 hours of playtime later, the OP is entirely correct - Be mindful and responsible with your plat. You WILL need it for slots OR Reactor/Catalysts later...
@@johnP0908 Indeed. And gaining more plat, freely, is also easy. But for a new player, that's very difficult. Thankfully most players in the game are very helpful.
@@AdamBeaudryMasterProton what I did starting out to get plat was opening as many relics as possible, didn't matter what type or what I got and then just sell it all as prime junk at 12 plat for 6 pieces
God what I love about this trailer is that its so accurate to the game, the gameplay/mechanics make you feel like a true Tenno like you see in the trailer, from the movement all the way to the ass kicking.
Yeah the game is as crazy as it sounds , 2k hours into it and if i get bored i still come back to it The kind of game that if you invest into it you will be rewarded Warning: It contains lots of farming(the definition of farming is kinda skewed in Warframe, is it really farming if you enjoy it?)
As someone who had played Warframe for so long, I'm so glad they gave this justice with its trailer. Maybe this will bring even more Tenno to our clan. Join us, be a space ninja.
You don't see it very well, but Volt does drop a shield down to cover Excal from some gunfire as he nyorms along, but yeah, they sorta undersell him, considering his 4 is just a friggin absurd map cleaner.
Yo is nobody going to talk about actually seeing Tenno slaughtering Dax Soldiers leading the Grineer wearing slick old war armor? This is chronicling the last days of the empire when the Tenno turned.
A detail I just barely noticed a year and a half later is that the Grineer in the past looks very healthy and cleaner than the modern ones, putting perspective of just how bad Clone Rot really is. They very much look like a healthy human. Their armor and ships look like slightly archaic Orokin designs. Their eyes are white and blue, as opposed to black and orange. Their lights are brilliant blue as oppose to the now-signature yellow. I almost feel bad for them. Their whole kind is dying, and time is not on their side. They were designed by the Orokin to be mass-produced laborers, their names literally a portmanteau of "Genetically Re-engINEERed". In other words, they're quite literally just sadder Clone Troopers.
I know it's old comment but something to add. Look at their armors as well. It's much more practical and well rounded to protect all of the body and not just head and chest/back. In older times it was made more streamlined, lighter and with maneuverability. Now it's only to protect vital organs, keep them going and be slaughtered :/ Still, nice details from DE to include such thing, props for them
@ABCZ ZC funnily enough no, they had a whole subsect of archimedeans who's job was to monitor the grineer gene molds to ensure there's no issues. What's really fucked is that the grineer sterility is actually orokin doing rather than cloning degradation.
The orokin was led by a pretty shitty leader. So the leader is like "well, if you're gonna lose you're gonna die anyway." Not apart of Warframe lore but its sort of like that ig
Warframe is a great game, the best in its category by far. For new players just remember to unlock the star chart and do the quests/storyline and the rest will unfold from there. Don’t be afraid to ask other players or check RU-vid. Don’t be a leech and afk. We have an amazing community full of helpful friendly players-this isn’t call of duty, be respectful. Your a Tenno now. Play the limited time events to get great rewards and stick through it. The start is slow but it speeds up quick. Happy hunting! Welcome to Warframe Tenno.
Warframe DID have a great community. While respectful to new players, 90% of the community now is just non stop bitching about content, even now as the Old Blood update dropped, there's a flame war happening about whether it's a step in the wrong direction or not. To many hardcore players aren't happy and are still bitching. Witnessing this, as still a pretty new player, I've decided to keep player contact to a minimum. And lets not even go near Trade Chat...
@@nirablackfire2792 yea, I agree 100% Sure criticism I think should be always welcome, but when you have popular youtubers saying the game is dying every time they get bored that's beyond criticism....
Anybody else want the girls outfit to be an actually outfit for our operators. It fits so perfectly and looks awsome with the front wrap and bandages all up the one arm
If you're being serious, you are in for a TREAT my friend. I've been playing since launch and STILL can't believe it's free. Get's more gorgeous with every update.
This is the only free to play game that I have willingly paid for content. I have many skins and Warframes because I love the dedication of the developers. I'd estimate that I spent nearly $200.
@@TurnBackHunter it has over a million of players btw. The game devs earn revenue when you buy in-game currency where you can buy cosmetics. But since the game has a lucrative trading system, you can trade items with players for platinum to earn the in-game currency for which you can buy the cosmetics. So technically, it's an F2P game under this model. The only item you can't buy with plat are the prime accessories = time based limited edition cosmetics.
@@TurnBackHunter its got 26 million registered accounts, and is always in the top 10 most played games on steam, and thats not even counting people who only use the warframe launcher itself rather than being connected to Steam
So I was just watching this trailer for the 13th or so time (cause it's that awesome) and I just realized that the scene where it transfers to Volt's perspective with the big battle with all 3 of the warframes fighting the Orokin is, get this, *one* *continuous* *shot.* That... is *not* easy to do. And it was still UTTERLY FANTASTIC!!! Now Warframe's not just one of the best free-to-play games out there, it's got one of the best cinematic trailers I've seen as well. Great job you guys!
@@cupcakemcsparklebutt9051 Doing a single continuous shot in 3D or in real life is actually astoundingly tricky to pull off well, and this was done with mocap, which means that even though it was all being CGI'd, it still required the actors to be at the right places, in the right time, doing the right things. It's arguably harder to do well in 3D because the actors will have no real idea outside of a description of what's going on, since they'll just be in a big empty gray room full of sensors and skinsuits with pingpong balls.
@@cupcakemcsparklebutt9051 everything the other two guys said + watch Kingsman the secret service. The church fight is badass and it's all one continuous shot.
Poor volt he is reduced to being the third wheel of the trio he needs more respect Exclibur is overated because hes the first warframe in lore and the poster boy
NPC No.987654321 Imagine the disaster that Wisp, Frost, Saryn, Nidus, Inaros, and Nyx, and Ember would bring. Literal calamities. (Sun, Blizzard, Miasma, Infectious things, Sandstorms, Firestorms and literal confusion and panic)
I agree, the amount of the details in this is extreme! Wait, maybe that's why they're called Digital Extremes: because they make extremely good things!
The craziest thing about this trailer is all the abilities and movement you see are all the things you can do in the game plus so much more. What they show off in trailers literally makes up 1% of the game since it's so diverse. More than 60 characters to choose from and 500 weapons to max, this is a true grindy game that makes it all feel worth it.
Back when this comment was made, kinda not true. That hand bubble Mag did that shot the bullets back? Only recently added to her within the last few months
@@tehdominator17 damn, I've really been out of the game long, then. I remember playing before that, then coming back on a new account and only noticing it AFTER the Veilbreaker update lol Definitely my L
The craziest thing about these trailers is most of the abilities and movement you see are the things you can't actually do and normally you do far, far less. What they show off in the trailers literally makes up for 1% of the game because you spend 99% AFK or abusing a broken frame. More than three warframes that you actually need(okay, five to be generous) and a dozen of puppies to breed for mastery, this is a true market manipulation game that makes it all feel worth it in plat.
I mean...technically speaking...Excal used Radial Javelin on those Grineer Soldiers on what looks like Earth. The levels for those Grineers should be between 1-15(?) Lmfao
This is just plain genius the trailer is as if about those old player that have quit playing the game, like me I haven't played this game for one year now and I have been playing for like 3 years as far as i can remember so many memories with my friends, great community and it's as if you can relate to the story that they simply banished, but life really hits me hard, had to get a job have to pay bills do adult stuff that's why i had to quit one day, this takes me way back. Last time i remember playing this game was me rocking that prime limbo set with the bow you can get from stalker. I really want to play again but it's up to the new generations now...for all the new players and who are still playing keep rocking guys and make a better community tenno!
Technically yes, you can pay to make everything easier, practically you're paying to not play the game, wasting money for resources it would take less than 5 mins to get
@@r3ll282 they've made avatar way back. And that was a CGI marvel and imo still is. If same amount of resources would be put into a warframe movie, I bet it would wreck the cinemas.
@@r3ll282 exactly, the lore, the plots. its nuts. even though ive played through alot of it id love to see it in a movie like this. just the way the fighting and everything is done is incredible.
Would be cool if they gave us the charge function from melee for it. So like when we fully charge the bow, we can infuse it with our Energy for an added damage bonus and colorful effect. Kind of what they used to do back in the day with melee, where you could channel the melee while slicing up enemies - This kind of got removed/lost after one of the recent updates that completely changed how combat worked.
You forgot that the Warframe community is one of the best. I still remember I joined a very high ranking clan and boy are they very helpful and friendly towards new people without spoiling the story.
