@@Sabuuchi just curious, why don't you think Vauban should be A tier? His flechette orb stacks with enemy level and overdrive with empower. You can also empower each flechette orb if you like. It is one of the few frames I think will be able to scale effortlessly in missions like survival and defense.
So I can actually explain the tier lists(kinda)! Someone on the Brozime stream commented that the ratings aren't purged or reset, so for frames like Yareli and Grendel they aren't reset after their reworks and fixes. The updates I believe just add the new votes, rather than removing the old ones. Apologies if this is incorrect, but Overframe is also completely inscrutable and doesnt even show the number of votes. This also isn't a defense, to be clear; it's further condemnation.
Went over this in the vid. They are updated regularly and are averaged out by new votes. Most are still reflective on where the community places them overall.
@@Sabuuchi eh unless we have a higher weighting on new votes that’s still kinda taking on all the votes a frame still previously had and knowing Warframe players they aren’t going to vote twice or as you’re implying change their stubborn mind on frames even after relatively good changes
@@Sabuuchito be fair I don’t think that most people who were initially outraged by how shit these frames were are going to go back and correct their votes.
@@pixelmaster9964 also people arnt really going to go back and shit on an old good frame, Equi is still A because of legacy votes unbalanced with newer votes
@@Sabuuchi unfortunately, being "averaged out" just means that the large number of old votes submitted over many years or on the initial release far outnumber the new votes put in. Look at the votes for grendel and yareli and you can see a huge chunk of D rank votes that outnumber the rest, but still a large chunk off votes for the higher tiers as well. People just dont change their votes that they made in outrage.
@@adrioumario1369 I am very confused about this statement, are you talking hollow knight? is the wayward compass in hollow knight somehow op? how is psf op also lmao
Me when I'm in a "Make an absolute dogshit Warframe build with the most unwarranted confidence" competition and my opponent is ThEMoon85. Dude is honestly probably the one person most responsible for making Overframe as badly reputed as it is, because he ABSOLUTELY is manipulating something to ensure his builds are always at the highest popularity. That and he has the world's most easily bruised ego. Literally seen the dude trying to start beef with other people because they questioned something on one of his builds.
i wouldn't be surprised if that guy bots his own overframe votes. all of his builds get massive numbers like he's a fucking celebrity or something, but when it comes to his comments there are usually like 0-10 of them. at the absolute maximum there's like 30-40 comments. where the fuck are the hundreds or even thousands of voters?
@@error_3754 not even close to a god. just a dubious little creature with soft cc and no innate damage potential, completely beholden to the power of a weapon you're using. Doesn't have own survivability and damage, which Yareli has in spades, on top of CC, and that leaves her with a helminth slot to do even more insane shit. Loki has his use, but in no universe is he better.
@@halcyon1644 Yup, he's one of the few where Gloom is objectively a good choice. He can keep it up easily, Gloom counteracts Terrify's running away mechanic and he can use Arcane Eruption alongside Gloom for shutting down entire rooms without having to do anything but just kill stuff. Him and Banshee are like the 2 frames that really make sense for Gloom, don't get why it's so popular on Saryn to be honest, and I even removed it from Sevagoth coz there was more fun/better stuff to run on him.
@NinjaSyao I'd wager it's used on Saryn so much because she's both insanely good at killing things, the amount she can heal with it is _stupid_ based on that metric.
@@laynegrey2003it’s because the enemies don’t have to be in range of gloom for life steal to function, so gloom can keep her healed from spores that are still spreading four rooms over. It won’t save her in really long endurance runs but for most content it’s comfortable. The new Eclipse for 75% DR is probably better now since it lets her shields stay up longer, but old gloom builds still at least function.
Garuda is actually really good with Gloom because with that and her 3 you have infinite energy and almost infinite health since she can attack easily multiple enemies with her 1 and 4
The problem with Overframe tier list is, as told in the video, that it is more of a popularity contest than an actual metric of performance (Ignis S tier lol). Also, in my opinion, the list has too little tiers and it makes the existing tiers have not much consistency.
And there is a problem with the definition of tiers; what makes a weapon "the best of the best"? Its accessiblity? Its biggest possible dps? How many formas and/or how much of a setup it takes for it to be SP/lvl cap viable? Or is it the combination of it all? This makes it hard to accurately give a weapon/frame its rating, hence the proble with Overframe tier list.
It's also, just, like. Some weapons have a one thing they do good. The ones that delete the new deimos disruption necramechs, for example - is that what you want to run outside of that? hell no lmao And at the same time, if you just wanna run SP survival or something, you can take just about any weapon, slap it on a Saryn built as a weapons platform (strength, range, shield gate, subsume xata's or roar depending on weapon) and make dudes explode. Long as it's got some way to hit lots of dudes, at least.
The real explanation is that old votes don't go away. Ignis wraith was amazing for a long period of time, but people don't remove or change their old votes, so it sits there. This explains a vast majority of the discrepancies. Previously good but super dated and outclassed warframe like loki, oberron, and trinity are still rated highly. Warframe released super bad like grendel and yareli, so people voted badly, and then didnt change votes when they were reworked and buffed. I dont expect people to be perfectly accurate in their votes, but this issue of not deleting old votes is causing the vast majority of misplacements.
The worst part is phantasma that's under It in A tier, the phantasma that can proc heat so fast that steel path enemies are easily deleted unlike ignis and has infinite punch-trhough
Another issue is that they don't refresh it, which means if a frame gets reworked, the tier list doesn't care after seven years of D-rank votes, Hydroid.
if theres anything ive learned from watching various warframe youtubers: its that literally everyone says that literally everyone else's builds are trash. use what you enjoy friends. dont listen to any of these guys.
Most of the points he makes are valid though. I agree play what you want but if you're going to go on a website and post your builds being like "this is the best build ever" and are wasting slots on useless stuff, people should point that out.
@@NeightrixPrime that actually is part of the reason I agree with sab dunking on the builds- He's mostly reacting to the top builds on the site, and if someone doesn't know what makes a build good or bad they're just going to use the top build on the site assuming "hey it's at the top it must be good." They should learn what makes builds good or bad but these builds is just going to teach them the wrong lessons.
@@NeightrixPrime But still, even then, its always appreaciated when someone knows how to do the math and shares a min/maxed build for endgame, and not everyone is capable to cook those builds. Buried along the thousands of trash builds in overframe you can find some pretty well written guides that just work, it's just a tiny part of them. Even if you know your stuff, some warframes have more layers and interactions that i didn't know how to exploit, and that's when some of these builds are genuinely interesting. It's just there is no real way to curate top builds in such a site.
I'm just glad we get more time with xaxu to ourselves. He's right, the gig's probably up when prime comes out and the community learns how to mod him correctly.
1 tau isn't terrible tbh, her base armor is laughable (thus Umbral Fiber is bad) yet she usually functions as a healthtank. with +1 tau her armor goes from 135 -> 360, aka DR from 31% -> 54.5%. if you opt not to do this you are effectively taking 1.5x damage on health (from taking 45.5% dmg to 69% (nice)), or having to make up for it with Arcane Guardian or Health Conversion. or pillagetank or something but you get my point
I consider myself an oberon fan, i bought his prime access back in the day, the fact that he is even looking at A tier is a fucking crime. His only redeeming quality right now is his saving throw augment for his entire team, thats it. He's completely outclassed by Styanax and is probably about to be outclassed again by jade
I mean, hes also completely outclassed by Citrine. Citrine doesnt have to pay Energy to give Regeneration, she gives Regen in Affinity Range, she can give 90% DR in Affinity range, Health Orbs basically on command, and force Red Crits with her 4. If you throw Pillage over her 3 you also get Armor Strip, Shield Strip and Status Cleanse. its really sad to see how Goat boy has fallen over the years, I remember Oberon being my second ever built frame, back when I started in 2017.
@JustPixelNoIDontWantAnyNumbers In the barest defence of Oberon, he can heal way more than Citrine, but that's about it. It really sucks, Oberon was basically what convinced me to keep playing. I miss the carpet so much.
Literally Oberon has 1 job currently and that's in plague star lazy meta runs as mindnumbingly simple armor strip of the boss, as wisp (assuming you can find 1 that's not a shock trolling scrub) can out do the passive regen by a lot and the 2 main overguard frames can provide more active survivability It isn't a bad frame it's just been made obsolete by more modern frames just like frost and equinox where they aren't bad it's just there is something better for the job they used to be used for
Equinox got a buff with Jade Shadows update. Damage rework and secondary fortifier arcane gives her more survivability. Equinox with Overguard +Energy Transfer Augment lets you build shield until you’re ready to pop maim. Been experimenting with solo steel path and you can very quickly build 2.5 mil damage as long as you have a weapon that doesn’t require damage buffs prior to being able to kill. The main drawback is you need good energy efficiency or a way to supplement it. She really excels in Ascension and High Level SP Circuit runs. She’s not perfect now, but also not dead weight.
@@xrufus7x468Also because not everyone wants to just be literally unkillable all the time, I do, but only if it took effort. Which is why I haven't touched Octavia since leveling the first time, waaay too easy
Yeah assuming the person building her was going for hysteria and it was a recent build it would be best to instead use precision intensify + augur secrets to balance out the other abilities instead of dropping 2 umbra forma to increase umbral intensify, it would make her 4 stronger + give her the augur bonus on the off chance you whip a rifle out and your shields pop
The problem with overframe is that both builds and tierlist are based of total votes, with most of them being years old and not updated/re-voted. Some builds on the "top weapons" havent been updated in years, for example the number 1 build for acceltra before acceltra prime released didnt use galvanized mods, and it had over 300 votes compared to the second one.
You're absolutely right, you get a lot of stuff like that. Like yareli on release was originally voted in D tier and she has been powered up like crazy and many people have just not bothered changing their votes. So she's C because of vote weighting. Also, I assume many people vote based on memory and what they've heard, not played, of a frame. Genuinely wouldn't be surprised if the "mag is shit" meme from 500 million years ago still has effect on Mag's placement.
To be fair, the reason you use tempest barage with green Shards is because you put on Viral Tempest to get viral, corrosive, heat with just abilities. That will trigger Manifold Bond on Nautalis' cordon, which is really strong for protea. It works, but there are a lot of other alternatives.
huh maybe youre right. that makes sense actually. But then wouldnt the turrets have barely any use since youll probably end up killing enemies with tempest barrage in the first place? also Nautilus' cordon isnt really the best of grouping if your playstyle is to stay far and safe. Oh yeah protea's 1 also already gives slash status no?
@@rivershen8954I like Sab don’t get me wrong but the protea triple green shards with viral tempest barrage makes even deep archedea a joke turret do millions of heat damage and your basically unkillable with no energy issues ever sooooooo
@@aDESTROYER_50 2 green shards is enough. Also as Tryburos says, and i paraphrase, "Even if you do a million damage per shot, if the enemy realistically only has 50k HP, youre still only doing 50k damage"
i just use this site to 1. question why people built something the way they did and 2. dread how much forma im gonna have to dunk on a shitty weapon JUST because i had a horrible shower "what if" moment
I'm in the second phase, and somehow find enjoyment with it ahah) I just simply don't want to run same set of weapons. I've paid for my slots Imma use em all damn it!
love seeing this while I'm desperately trying not to give in to investing 15 forma into the kulstar as my yareli weapon instead of the currently crafting akarius prime
I never thought to go all in on Range for Zephyr, I wanted Duration just so her three could last longer. I gotta go back in the kitchen and cook. EDIT: Also Equilibrium good, cope.
Worth mentioning that old votes never get taken off, so if people don't revote then things keep getting held back. Example is how 77% of all votes on the torid place it in S tier but it still has D and C tier votes that keep the average low. Its an awful system. also equilibrium is amazing if you run a synth deconstruct companion.
is there any solid alternative to overframe though? because i noticed it's garbage. several warframes are not up to date with reworks (looking at inaros), the nuilder don't calculate alternative fire of many weapons... some warframe don't even have datas for their abilities, if you pass your mouse over kullervo's abilities it just give you the description without any number. some calculations are wrong, it totally ignores damage from status effects and don't calculate them at all, you have no control over conditional bonuses (except a global on/off)... the list is long, i've played games like eve online and elite dangerous were the external tools are actually good and do the bare minimum of making full the full calculations. it just bothers me because those sort of tools are not even hard to make, they are just long and painful to populate with the data afterward. i actually might make one myself at this rate because that shit is just painful...
so this is how not to build, but why? all i see is "haha this is awful" and then it switches to something else to repeat. This is my first time on channel, how do I know you know these are bad if all you give is "its bad cuz said so"
Not really about being an elitist. If you're new this probably doesn't make any sense and fair enough. But if you've played warframe and the frames in particular for this video you can pretty quickly tell why the builds are terrible just based off the abilities of those frames. If you are not new then you probably know why they're bad at a glance for the most part. Some of them had more redundancy than atlas with sure footed
Yeah, I clicked on this video to find out why Overframe is bad. But all I got was "lol this build sux"/"who uses this shit?" etc. No explanations, just typical low-effort content. Sure, maybe he has a better understanding of Warframe than most players. But it seems he'd rather sit on a high chair and laugh at everyone instead of being helpful. Awful video, IMO.
I agree on this tier list being wrong and having to many frames in A and B tier. Everyone should be and C tier and Limbo should be the only one in S tier.
Pillage actually counts as a channeled ability while it is deployed (before you gain your shields from it). That's 4 channel ability Hildryn with Intention, that's hilarious. Intention also heals you when it activates, meaning Pillage periodically working is actually great.
Hey there! I'm actually the person who made one of the Caliban and Yareli builds in this video. Thanks for talking over some of my builds! That Caliban build is actually one of my worst builds. When Caliban released I very much wanted to post a purely for fun Summoner build for him, and it just so ended up that that one blew up. It was posted originally the day after Caliban released! It was designed to just have fun with summoning his Conculysts and not really do much else! XD It hasn't been updated for a LONG time, and I was a bit sad to see you didn't check out my other Caliban build right underneath, which I tried much harder on and which I believe solves a lot of the problems with Caliban as a warframe, and with the other build in general. As for the Yareli build, I think personally that build is pretty good, but I totally understand a lot of the criticism you mentioned. I have thought about swapping Arcane Avenger to Molt Augmented and using the freed up mod space for strength to run more Ability Efficiency for the Sea Snares from Loyal Merulina, and I've been going back and forth on it as that build mainly uses Yareli as a pure gun platform, with the Tenet Cycron. Still though, I really value the suggestions! Thank you!
a good summoner build is subsuming warcry and building caliban for health an armor, meanwhile your sentients get stupid high attack speed and get hella tanky
that yareli build becomes immediately amazing with a synth deconstruct dethcube w/ helstrum. I actually assumed that's what you had in mind. all the conditional buffs become massively more consistent, with some free status priming from the helstrum. it's perfectly synergistic. only thing I could mention is that streamline is a bit redundant after all those energy sources. but, yeah, I'm definitely trying this build out, it's fun twist on a health tanking yareli that I hadn't thought of, and just as someone who happens to main her, I think you did great on that!
@@_.violyse._ The one reason to run Streamline on top of all the energy sources is to reduce the Cooldown of Loyal Merulina's fired sea snares :) The cooldown is directly linked to efficiency. Thanks!
Heres my problem with the Overframe Hate, Yes it has many problems, but there is not a single other source of Text ,or picture based build guides out there. I despise watching 5-10 minute videos so some youtuber can explain a build when i can just read a description. There is no competition to Overframe, it has a monopoly over this part of the Warframe build space. So yes feel free to complain about how shit the website is, but until you or someone else makes a better one, i will still use it.
warframe isn't even that overly complicated unless you are specifically gunning for min-max shenanigans out of boredom. i maybe used overframe twice if only to get a point of reference on how to build a certain frame.
And people are extremists, every build in this video can complete SP, so they are not trash. People use those words for everything that isnt meta slave
I'd argue that Ignis (Wraith), is good for the entire game with a few exceptions. Torrid incarnon is clearly just better than it but is a different kind of weapon. And as is increasingly clear, many people don't even touch steel path and even fewer do it outside of the daily steel path missions. People need to realize that "The steel path" isn't some boogie man that's going to stomp their ass, with a decent build they'll easily roll most of it.
I'm assuming he was just alluding to Archon Shards, like Violet ones can do the same thing as Equilibrium It's more of a waste of mod space if you think about it. Same thing with Natural Talent cos of Amber Archon Shards Of course not saying Archon Shards are always better I mean at the start, Temporal Incenerosion Protea is right there but ppl have a build with double Emerald Archon Shards with Tempest Barrage subsume???? with it's Viral augment
100%, ninjase is one of the few people who genuinely know how to build and can explain his builds to people who don't know how to build. he's an actually good source of knowledge, and he's active in the official warframe discord server's builds channel. he's always happy to assist there... he's not a bad guy at all.
The reason for the "future meta" tag on the tenet glaxion isn't for the build itself, but rather the slated changes to the cold status effect potentially allowing for the freezing of entire squads.
This is the exact issue guns in Destiny have, realistically no average player really knows what a good build for high level content looks like so they just post what they think their idea of meta is.
That's a lie destiny guns are way to simple. I hate how every gun feels similar. It's not hard to make a raid build in destiny or a nightfall. Pretty much whatever gun plus well of radiance. Doing anything pass that is completely unnecessary. Destiny guns are way too Close In damage. Imagine if guns did 20 or 30 million difference in damage. Grenade launcher don't even feel aoe. Blast radius is miniscule. most perks are marginal increases. Most of time in destiny dps just isn't there because someone messes up. If everyone just doesn't die and empty clips. The boss will die. Tbh the real problem is what's the point of getting another gun if it's literally just the gun you have now but in a different color.exotics should have been the weapon standard tbh.
@RavenUwU605 I played since the game came out(destiny 1). I've done raid multiple times and have like 7k hours across a couple accounts. Destiny is just one dimensional. I even played after all my friends left and with no one to play with it made Destiny's flaws even more apparent.
After the stream, I went to check Ember Prime builds, oops all Gloom or Nourish. I'd also like to point out that the Gloom Protea is using an augur mod.
@@austin9151 Personally I use her with Xata's Whisper on her 1 because it helps charging up incarnon weapons and dealing with enemy overguard while also keeping her caster gameplay, but if you want to use her as a full on caster, then you probably want roar on her 1 or anything else that will help with heat procs.
DE should just give up on one update to revamp all the frames that were left behind, because, sure, we have 50+ warframes but 10 or so of them are borderline unplayable without heavily investing in them
@@klondikelegitski675I mean I think frost is fine as he is now but bare minimum he needs some qol changes that keep him in line with the present, and vauban totally can shred in steel path but three of his #2 balls aren't really worth using
why is equilibrium hated so much, especially on protea? if you have a source of health orbs and flow it can be really good and sometimes even allows you to bypass energize
The key is in the "if" part. Most warframes do not have a reliable way to generate health orbs, and the slot is wasted on something that could be better for the specific build
@@BetaDude40 So you think protea doesn't have a reliable way to generate health orbs? Also, health orbs are pretty much everywhere if you actually use companions.

Just repeating what I've said in a response to a comment here: Content Creators could probably, actually pool enough resources together to create an alternative. Especially if larger ones and partners get onboard with it, it would genuinely be a help to the still growing Warframe community at large. Honestly, DE could stand to have an official site for this kind of thing at this point, they already have steps in that direction with the Arsenal add on on Twitch; they could probably integrate it in to their app. It would also help them track down problems with balance as a bonus. Kind of perplexed with their community involvement compared to other devs, that they don't actually have something like this already. Overframe is garbage, but its convenience is what draws people to it. It's more convenient than a RU-vid video and more convenient than a write up in a Discord server. People will almost always choose convenience first, you can just look at the tech landscape and see that yourself. Unfortunately, the group running Overframe has a general monopoly over tier lists and builds for large games; given how long they've been around (they've been around since at least the Halo 3 days). It'd be nice to see something pop up to compete as an alternative.

Equilibrium good. Also, am I crazy or aren't galvanized shot / aptitude mods good with raw damage mods (serration, heavy caliber) on *some* weapons because they give multiplicative damage? 7:42 , yeah the heavy caliber on Phenmor is bad, but galvanized aptitude is ok?
it's because most weapon arcanes already give damage and arcane damage+ with mod damage + are additive not multiplicative so if you unlocked sp you will probably never use serration or heavy caliber anymore unless you are doing a very specific build
@@danilim7529 While that is true and it's also what I use on most builds I feel like sometimes it's really hard to keep up merciless on some weapons (especially auto viral slash weapons) so putting a serration just to have a baseline to ramp up with is better. I've had that happen to me on more than one build. On the Phenmor none of that really matters cuz you already get the incarnon bonus. With or without base damage arcanes / mods on the Phenmor galvanized aptitude is just a good choice (if it works multiplicatively).
@@rivershen8954 If you're on higher level SP missions, if your gun doesn't have base damage mods just merciless the slash procs will still kill but it might take around 2 or 3 seconds to do so. To be fair a warframe tier list is nonsensical considering every frame feels good to play in the late game with the right build. Khora, Revenant and Mag not on S tier however is criminal.
Hydroid not being at least A is crazy, his rework has made him such a solid frame now. He has loot gathering with Tentacle Swarm, Plunder gives him over 1k armor making early steelpath a joke, not to mention the corrosive damage buff it gives, Tidal Surge gives you movement and s as well as status immunity if you run the augment. I usually helminth off Tempest Barrage so i don't use it enough to vouch for it. Sevagoth being in A is hilarious. He get a buff i didn't notice? Because dude outside of gloom he is kind of mid at best. And i have said it before Mag is easy A tier for Magnetize alone.
next time you have a problem with a build, maybe tell us why? not make us feel like a bunch of fools sitting here and thinking "that build looks fine, whats wrong with it?"
I feel like it's important to note that the majority of the players that are voting on these tier lists likely aren't even doing Steel Path. They're not the youtubers that derive their income from warframe content. They're certainly not doing any mission past 30 mins. They're probably not doing omnia fissures. Probably not doing netracells or EDA. These are the people that play maybe a few hours a week.
Im a newer Warframe player and I've been using Overframe for a while as a guideline for how to build and what weapons to get. Is there a better alternative for community builds and general info like that? I feel bad that im not gettin the right info after using it for so long
Yeah um warframe doesn't have the best community. Ingame it's one of the friendlier communities. But reddit and especially youtube is full of elitist schizos. As for what to build - look into what damage types do (the status effects) Viral is meta for lategame, because it reduces max health % Removing armour from enemies is also important late game (that is done through warframe abilities mostly) Anyway honestly just learn the game, don't follow "guides". It's a lot more rewarding. If you "must" be guided check the Kengineer on youtube, he explains a lot of mechanics well. Btw warframe wiki is your best friend ;)
To add on to what Demo's said, Warframe has such a power ceiling at higher level that you don't *need* the absolute best builds to do most content, so play what you like, test different configurations to see what works and what you enjoy, and don't get too hung up on the math. Kengineer is a great source for the numbers behind things, and OverFrame's *builder* reports the math very well if you just want to make a pure number comparison without having to go into the simulacrum.
@@AGrumpyPanda Gotcha, I was under the impression that one build is popular amongst a lot of players since it’s the strongest. I used to play a lot of Genshin where the building system in that game is pretty similar so I have a better understanding of how to go about things now. Tysm!!
@@Yeahitsjin The problem is the majority of people play well below the 'endgame' content and wouldn't know what an optimal build looked like if you slapped them with it. That's not a problem, it just means what's popular doesn't equal what's best.
vauban is pretty nuts when built correctly, they're kinda' like octavia in that they have infinitely scaling damage based on enemy level and you can double boost his turrets with nourish viral damage and procs.
Yeah, for real! I started forma'ing the Vauban Prime I had collecting dust for a few years after I'd gotten the mastery for (mostly because I started hyperfixating on the ttrpg Heart: The City Beneath and wanted to make a Vermissian Knight character modelled after his aesthetic), and even with a scuffed build that can't fit half the planned mods it needs it still does okay. Once he's properly forma'd he may even be a new main for me!
@@ZomgLolPants I'm not saying it isn't, Vauban is a great frame and i love playing with and as him, but he can't compare to the likes of Khora or Saryn, its not even fair for the trainman
Equinox is A cuz her sleep and support skills for allies. Khora, Mirage, Wukong, Vauban, and Ivara are all S tier imo. Especially Mirage, like how... community based tier list. If it were accurate, based on "standard role of the warframe," then lots more of them would be in S tier with a description
The site allowing me to skip bullshit theatrics of creators on youtube alone instantly makes it better without even factoring in people line Ninjase just has better builds than anything you'd find on RU-vid.
I'm relatively new, and I use it as a general guide as to how people use the frames. I don't use the tier list as an end all be all, but as a "this is pretty good, this isn't too great"
Equilibrium can be good with dispensery and synth fiber to have infinite energy, and when combined with valkyr, can allow you to spend whole missions invincible. (Doesnt work in duviri)
People underrate Grendel so hard. He needs some investment, but he absolutely wrecks steel path. Only place he struggles is boss fights without enemies to eat.
Nyx prime is goat, armor strip and subsumed equinox ability to increase damage done hits HARD. fourth for invulnerability with augment to move and 3 to cc during those occasions when shit gets bad or you need to protect a moving target. I only bring this up because i use nyx for boss fights and it's honestly a great experience. Only weakness is if you let infested disrupted enemies get close because the energy drain will leave you seething lol
7:14 So I can answer this, he's casting gloom when protea's passive proc happens for an extra 100% strength, as gloom is a channeled ability and thus keeps that extra 100% strength until the ability turns off. Then recasting it again as molt augmented gets stacked. 84% become 244%, which isn't the 95% slow cap, but it's still pretty substantial mid 80ish% slow.
Correct. The logic is that the increased spread means you have a higher cone of effect, and thus a larger area of potential headshots to charge incarnon.
I understand how Gloom Works but I don't understand why it's Freaking Everywhere. 🤔 The Same goes for *Nourish* we already Mod for Viral and use *Zenurik* ..... So why Nourish ? 🤔
@@lookalike4805 nourish provides energy multiplier, so it's great for anyone who can generate energy by himself (like with archon stretch or innately like styanax), so it's best all-in one of energy/viral priming Zenurik is baby's energy regen way, madurai and naramon become far more useful in late game aswell
@@lookalike4805 nourish gives viral without the need to mod for it, and since most enemies are weak to corrosive/radiation anyways. you also get multiplier for energy orbs instead of zenurik's which is just a slow energy regen in a small area
Glad someone else is enjoying invulnerable loki. Fun fact, the invulnerability cannot be removed as far as I can tell. Nullies and falling in pits doesn't strip it.
Ask literally any high MR dude in region chat, avoid QnA chat like the plague though it's FILLED with trolls and people spreading shit builds I can also recommend discord servers and popular clans, most of the veterans there who have played consistently for years will have an updated and strong build for everything
Truly it really boils down to just quitting on watching these warframe slop videos and visiting these websites with "build this, build that" nonsense. Just gotta teach yourself all the damage mechanics, mod mechanics, and how to mod accordingly, most of all, just do whatever is fun and managable, I'm out here running patagium and aero vantage because it's awesome to float in the air for no reason
It feels like people who are deluded into thinking their meme choices are good are who votes for overframe tier ratings. I feel like people will think their stuff is good if they get a bunch of kills in archon hunt 2nd missions even if they have single digit damage percentage done. I am going back to forgetting overframe exists.
The build editor can be useful for planning builds. You can put a full build on a frame and see if it meets the requirements for whatever you're planning with your abilities before you start using forma. It's less useful for an experienced player but for a new player, it can be a helpful learning tool. The downside is that the new player might get lured into the trap of just using someone else's build without understanding it and never learning how to mod.
Hello, another person letting you know you equinox take is uninformed. She is better than hildyrn since she also gives herself and Allies shields in night form. For me though her strength lies in peaceful provocation day form making her the only frame that can give 80 percent more ability strength to the entire team. Amazing synergy with wisp. She is the epitome of the assist frame. If you watch sports she has the value of a pure point guard or “team captain role” if you like marvel she’s similar to captain America. Not sure if that’s what you value in your gaming experience but that doesn’t mean it’s weak❤
Oi! I’m with you except when you single out Loki. We’re allowed to like bad frames as you said and had you simply said he objectively deserves to be ranked lower then fine but you said he does nothing and that’s different. Loki is an immortal warframe with true invisibility, outright damage immunity if you augment his Switch Teleport, and countless ways of making his decoy break the enemy AI or just be augmented to a good state. He’s also the ultimate crowd control warframe and not just by exploiting his first ability but by augmenting his fourth ability and watching it freeze an entire map in its tracks. Plus his lack of direct damage dealing abilities means that he’s able to be modded for something other than Strength unlike 99% of the frames in the game (not all, not all the time, but it’s a lot of Strength).
Want a good build, do it yourself. There's about 14 billion mods with maybe 30 being useful. Figure it out. From our host here to across the FrameTube producers, nobody agrees on anything.
7:50 i've just come back to the game after many years, but i think the recoil mod there is simply to make the weapon easier to control while also spreading damage in a specific area. Leaving high recoil would indirectly "spread" the damage, but not in a controlled manner
Calibro here: our peg leg sentient boi is still pretty strong. He is a weapons platform with 3 goons that give you enough shield regen to face tank shit. Could use some work still but he does do good.
@@SeanPAllen I mean youre wrong but sure… Every frame is viable and if u like Equinox then play her but Grendel is FAR better. I understand that you have a massive inferiority complex and cannot take a hit to your ego but you will have to face reality. Equinox is bad, Grendel is pretty good.
genuinely what's with the equilibrium hate; it's a solid source of energy after the buff esp with a synth deconstruct companion, but isn't dependent on it to function
Bro u ain't need the synth mod no more big dog. U can use the synth mod anyways though it's alright. Personally is use a bond mod instead. So many good bond mods.
all jokes aside, as a newer player who just recently got into SP, where do you recommend I get builds from? I obviously lack experience and knowledge to make my own builds cause i’m too stupid for that, so where can I learn or copy builds from that consistently are pretty good?
Most 'bigger' warframe YTers make at the very least passable builds so try copy them even tho some only do endgame builds so you need to change depending on what you need(likely dont have quite a few mods) but most of them explain why you have certain stats
@@lookalike4805 wow it’s almost just like.. I just said I’m a brand new player, I started a week ago. I could do research on understanding mod combos but that will only take me to a limit until I spend more time in the game understanding them, so thanks.
@@user-ph1lu1gh1u i think the Kengineer and LeyzarGaming are pretty fine. LeyzarGaming shows builds for both new and old players. MCGamer shows fun builds to mess around with any weapon. Anyways, stay away from KnightmareFrame is all that i ask of you. He is a big meme in the community, known for always telling people to build Primed Sure Footed (he even put it on Atlas, which has knockdown immunity anyways when youre on the ground)
You tell me where else I'm going to find a build for Excalibur Prime. Idk I use builds off of here pretty frequently and I've only run into one I didn't actually like. I couldn't care less about being optimal. It's not a race.
Genuine question because I recently returned to the game. If overframe is this bad. Where should I go to learn how to build weapons/frames and also see what's good/bad/mid?
i also dont understand, warframe's official discord server has a channel dedicated to builds and all, but its really confusing and if you ask for help on modding, they tell you to get good and to look into said channel warframe really needs to get better in that aspect tbh
My recommendation, go to the search bar and search the weapon, and avoid videos from thefthardsquad, knightmareframe, and so on. Look for lower view count on builds from channels in the same vein as mcgamers, coolkid, more meme channels, I can go on, but just avoid the larger CCs. I can't say much about sites like overframe
Suggesting ash's shuriken over psychic bolts is hilarious considering shuriken needs an augment to strip, hits less targets, requires slightly more strength, and is just an armor strip while psychic bolts is a defense strip. why would you suggest that lmao?
I remember during the time I've played, the only guides I ever believed in were those of Ninjase, Moon's were usually outdated so I pretty much relied on Ninjase.
@@CoffeFilter I've been playing for ten years, but it would be hubris to assume I can't still learn as it evolves and changes To be more clear, what other resources is there other then over Frame? Cause over Frame is fairly dominant
I use overframe as a reference when looking for ideas, but I've never been one to make actual copies of builds. Especially because the forma investment on some of the overframe builds is comically high when you can match or even outdo some of the builds with way lower investment. Hey now, I use subsumed gloom... on literally just Garuda, since she can sustain it easily without overtaxing my two firing neurons tyvm
So the thing is, votes don't reset. The tier list is 'updated' but if someone went on overframe 3 years ago and voted ignis s tier and torid b or c tier those votes are still in there, regardless of how the meta or the gear itself changed since then. I use overframe regularly to plan out builds so I know how many/what forma I need, and sometimes to look at a few builds to see if there are any synergies or fun ideas I missed. For that it's great. For actual build advice it's shit.
Its like white bread, they function, and are a good entrypoint, but his opinions on what functions and what is trash are not to be taken as gospel id say. Still, You can play wf for thousands of hours and do all content if You just have as much knowledge as You can get from Him so as much as he can be blatantly wrong sometimes or just straight up disregard builds he doesnt like for some reason, I wish every wf player i match with at least just knew the game as well as an active brozime viewer because thats more than enough...and far from actuality...
@@seanqwe100 I personally like GazTTV, he is very down to earth and has been the most honest wf youtuber ive seen and is a big grinder, also not a schill and not affraid to call DE out when sg stinks but also not a dedicated hater that says anything DE does is bad. Also Aznvasionplays has some quite obscure high end builds that kinda break the game but also at times a bit clunky to use but hes very much the guy getting into the nitty grotty of things, spreadsheeting everything and making the weirdest stuff work, like hebeven found a way to make chroma1 clear sp and stuff like that
