please give this man a real skilled guide/teacher for destiny. most of those advice from stream-chat is dangerously stupid. he has so much fun playing. with proper training he wil rise from a confused blueberry to a skilled guardian. after almost 10k hrs (steam and Bnet) i´m really having fun to watch a new promising guardian rise. eyes up, guardian
yea i wanna let him have fun and enjoy watching him experience everything for the first time but at the same time, he’s switched between every character over the span of a week. idk about you but when i first played this game i stuck to one character for a long time
"wait til he has to grind out his first legendary that grade will change" what does that even mean? legendaries drop like candy and so many things can be crafted. even world drop weapons can have some good rolls with multiple options in each column. It's so frustrating how people who don't even play the game have crafted this image of the game that hasn't existed in years.
@@coasterplay1062 never said i agreed, just explaining what he meant for clarity. with things like engram focusing, focus decoding, things of that nature, i think it's perfectly bearable and especially when it incentivizes raids
9:26 if your fireteam members are wildly shooting at something, you should look at why they're shooting and what they're shooting at - they tried to get you to rally the flag for full ammo 😉 Also try to balance out your weapons. Running 2 primary weapons is mostly redundant and useless, you're better off running a special weapon (those that use green ammo) like a sniper, grenade launcher, fusion rifle or shotgun. For example the SMG you have is terrible compared to Sunshot, the range is pretty bad and the reload is pretty slow. Replace it with the sniper you had in the previous videos, this will also compliment the range of your other weapon. And because you asked about sustainability and healing, you should probably save some glimmer and visit Ikora in the tower to buy some fragments, aspects and grenades. On solar you have a healing grenade, and also there are multiple fragments that can provide you with restoration (healing over time) like ember of mercy and ember of resolve. Ember of tempering might also help with health recovery. Apart from that there are many helpful armor mods, but most of those are locked behing guarding rank 5 (which is a pretty dumb decision IMHO, but it is what it is)
you need a buddy who can teach you in Destiny; whenever you see a white circle before entering an encounter, you can slam down a flag that replenishes every Ammo-Type and all Abilities; you can‘t miss out on this!
Use finishers! This is a thing commonly overlooked by almost ALL new players. They allow you to kill even some of the toughest enemies when they have still ~30% health left.
Armor stats contribute to your abilities. *Mobility:* Movement speed (on Hunter it also gives you faster class ability “dodge” regeneration). *Resilience:* Gives you more damage resistance against enemies (on Titan it also gives you faster class ability “barricade” regeneration). *Recovery:* Makes you regenerate health and shields faster (on Warlock it also gives you faster class ability “rift” regeneration). *Discipline:* Makes you regenerate grenade ability quicker. *Intellect:* Makes you regenerate your super ability quicker. *Strength:* Makes you regenerate melee ability quicker.
I've been enjoying watching your unfettered experience playing D2. Its very refreshing experiencing the game for what it is. Shout out to your team mates for not pulling your through it and not getting in the way of you exploring and discovering things for yourself.
Can’t wait to see you try out dungeons, raids, and more difficult content like Grandmaster Nightfalls. That’s where the gameplay aspect of Destiny really shines

You're gonna love raids, man. I recommend Crota's End to start with. Actually run onslaught first and get yourself a good Edge Transit (grenade launcher) and Falling Guillotine (sword) for boss DPS 😊 You can attune (increase drop chance) these weapons at Commander Zavala (tower)
not sure if you've done this or if you can but gamblers dodge is the best dodge id recommend to use. it gives you back your melee when you perform it near enemies.
Activating transcendence is all about using your abilities a bunch. So when you hit it make sure you're throwing your grenade as much as possible. Also the grenade is like a spike and it sticks into walls and even enemies making a cone of fire and ice from them. It also refills all your cooldowns so its good to use your grenade and then your melee and then hit transcendence to refill them all and do it again.
Warlocks can jump further distances than the other classes. Hunters and Titans have exotics that help jump distance and height. The closes things we have to movement exotics is transversive steps for increase sprint speed and steadily reloading of our weapons or one of my favorite exotics for astrocyte verse. It makes blink an incredible movement tech and debuff applying ability.
i’m glad to see someone from warframe trying destiny. it’s such an great game that’s in a tough place with a studio that’s struggling, but the story and the gameplay is top tier. i’m a heavy destiny player finally giving warframe its fair shot. i hope you enjoy the game and if you’re ever ready to get into endgame content, shoot me a message or reply to the comment id be happy to have my team teach you.
My biggest tip: Don't let skilled players carry you through dungeons and raids. There is NOTHING like the satisfaction of overcoming each encounter as you struggle through them the first time without really knowing what to do. You can start out by trying to solo (or duo with another new player) "The Shattered Throne" which was the first dungeon and it's the easiest. Then I think the best first raid is Last Wish or the remastered version of King's Fall, Vow of the Disciple is amazing too. Salvation's Edge (the latest raid) is insane, you'll want to get some raid experience before that one. Exotic missions are also really great.
The reason you only got 3 shots with your golden gun against the big green dude is because there are 2 different golden gun supers. The one you've been using has 6 shots that can't do crit damage and the other one has 3 shots that can do crit damage. People generally use the later especially with a certain exotic called Celestial Nighthawk, that combines all the shots into one massive damage shot.
Jealous you get to experience this great DLC as a newbie… I remember the experience of Final Shape with my buddies the first week and that was prime time as a Vet myself. Enjoy the grind.

We didn't just kill Uldren Sov, We hunted him down. Killed each and every "friend" or "family" member he made in the prison of elders, and when he was broken,... when he knew he had been played by Riven and was utterly defeated ? Then and only then was he granted the peace of the grave. Glint just had other plans for the body, and Seeing that face walk around took a bit, But I knew Uldren was dead, because I put a bullet in him, one from Ace, One with his name on it.
Use finishers.. they’re useful especially in high end activities or against hard to kill enemies such as champions. When you see the yellow dot on top of their heads that means you can finish them.
Couple things: Yes the Warlock can make that jump. Warlock probably has the best height and distance jump in the game. Also, how come yall didn't put this man onto Titan? That's got to be the most fun class in the game. Also the fastest sans any wellskating etc.

"Magic" is a word made to name forces that the people of the time didn't understand like gravity. The power we have on Destiny are the cosmic forces that shape our universe. A more simple example are the infity stones from marvel, or the pilars of creation from dota and etc... So, although "magic" is a crude term it's correct. What makes the cosmic forces different on destiny is that we have paracausality. To elaborate, think of the natural laws and cosmic forces like time and space as Causality, Paracausality is the power to bend the natural laws of creation (Existence) with a power that does not make part of the already existing ones. Like a cheat.
Destiny has a certain magic that I have not felt in any other game. Sure some very bitter people have become apathetic to the game after thousands of hours duh 🙄 but the world is probably one of my favourite franchises ever
"Grinding for legendaries becomes repetitive" Ah yes... someone seems new to MMO experiences. Why play a looter shooter MMO game if you are gonna bitch about it? I don't understand these kinds of people.
People in the chat only here to complain, the community today is way too pessimistic and won't accept the fact that destiny is obviously an amazing game for someone that discovers it today. The game has obvious problems (to reinvent itself after 10 years of life in particular) but as a new player almost none of this is your concern. You have years and years of content to catch up and discover.
