I feel that there are two very important things which one should take in account when picking a weapon: 1- Choice of weapon heavily depends on your frame of choice and synergy. In my example, I went for the Hek, and syndicate mod for it, but I realized that playing the Hek with frames such as Frost is really unconvenient. When using snow globe the Hek's short range prevents you from firing on enemies which will just wreck your snowglobe for free. In a same fashion the combo with Excalibur seems nice but often when you are in melee with Excal you use exalted blade anyway not your weapon and when you're out of energy you would most likely rely on a long rang weapon rather than close contact. On the contrary I felt like Rhino + Hek was a really good synergy. As Rhino iron skin gets better with the amount of dmg you take, going to contact, activating iron skin and using hek synergize very well. Thus, I believe it sometimes much more efficient to think not solely in terms of weapons but in terms In a same fashion, if your frames have way to deal with heavily armored enemies, status chance might not be as important as if it cannot. The same point goes with synergy with your melee and secondary weapon, having your 3 weapons relying on one kind of damage is generally a bad idea. 2- How rich you are at any stage in the stage. Tbh potatoing your weapon is the most effective way of making your weapon powerfull. But before MR8 you cannot for example sell riven mod for plat, limiting your platinum input if you don't want to but plat for real money. So, weapons which come with interesting polarity are quite an interesting choice because in the end mods are a big part of what makes a weapon powerful.

The Braton prime never is vaulted anymore.

Braton prime is a perpetual prime, meaning it didn’t come with any prime access and will never be vaulted, just like lex prime, orthıs prime, paris prime etc.

7:45 Incorrect. Braton prime never came out with a prime access so it cannot be vaulted. Other weapons where this is the case are:orthos prime, paris prime, bronco prime, akbronco prime, fang prime, burston prime (that I can think of off the top of my head).

Am I the ONLY one who is disturbed by the fact that he literally just walked and sprinted the entire time, rather than jumping to go faster? He even took his sweet time to walk all the way around to reach the stairs to get up to somewhere, hell he didn't even do a basic SINGLE jump to get over obstacles, he just walked around everything. The Daikyu... You can unlock it soon and with the good mods can oneshot nearly anything you hit on the head. I've not serration at max nor primed (about at half) and I oneshot L60 enemies dealing nearly 200K dmg/shot that penetrates nearly everything. ...Just don't take off speed trigger.

just a little information for new players "use everything to mr 30" if you hate the weapon, there are ways to skip the leveling process, spy having the best amounts or endless if you can deal with the difficulty spikes, but anything you pick up, use till it's mr 30, if you hate it, trash it, if you like it and it isn't prime/vandal/wraith/dex then potato (dex weapons come with potatoes), and potato means an orokin catalyst (weapon) or reactor (frame or companion) this will double the mod capacity to 60, but the main thing, try it completely before scraping it, everything has its own build necessary for high levels, some things are painful to use, but the mr is required to expand your playground and using different toys can make it funner

I think there's reason to get sancti tigris, because in the next MR you get the prime version, which is just much better, because you can get 100% status easier. And I think you should get the telos boltor instead of the prime, because it has better status and crit disposition. Also, I'd definitely recommend Astilla when you unlock it, it's super fun fully automatic shotgun, which fires slugs that explode on impact. It's super powerful and satisfying to use.

I have three more recommendations: Arca Plasmor, Vectis Prime and Supra Vandal. - Arca Plasmor can be researched in a clan dojo. It's a corpus weapon, with insane aoe damage. It is impact based and can be modded to spread status effects like crazy. It destroys big packs of enemies with one click of the mouse. - Vectis Prime is a sniper rifle, with really high damage. I used it mostly for eidolon-fights. It can be vaulted, i don't know if it is now. If you can't get it, you can mod another sniper rifle for the same purpose (Rubico comes in mind). But it is still a prime weapon capable to deliver high pin-point damage. If you can get it, definitely try. - Supra Vandal is an assault rifle, with the bigges magazine in the game. It can store more than a thousand bullets before reloading. It has high critical damage and mine is modded to deliver blast status, which pops almost 100%, tripping and stunning big crowds of enemies. It's more like a fun rifle, maybe not the best in the game. The big problem, that it is sold by the Void Trader Baro, so I am not sure you can get it now. But watch out for it, because it's worth having.

The strun is just one of the early game shotguns you don't want to miss, since it has decent damage for early game, good magazine size for a shotgun, and is pretty fun to use.

For Ignis Wraith, they're are plenty of people that will straight up give it to you for free if you go looking in region chat. Alternatively if you're having trouble go to trade chat and pay like 5 plat for it its def worth.

As a heads up, you can get the boar BP at MR2. One of the earth missions (Pacific?) uses the Uranus underwater base tile set, and thus the enemies able to drop a boar.

Just want to mention this, the Braton prime is a weapon that will never be vaulted, so you can get it anytime.

You missed Tigris smh. I know you said Tigris Prime for MR 13, but Tigris is amazing considering you can get it at MR 7, something you skipped over.

The boltor's a little out there, but its just so much fun, you feel each bolt getting launched and you get the perk of seeing your enemies *_FLY_* through the map before getting pinned to the wall like the silly ragdolls they deserve.

I recently just found out Hek can go for legitimate 100% status chance if you bring all the dual stat mods and ALL of the Multishot mods Shotguns can access (Hell's Chamber, Scattered Justice & Vigilante Armaments).

Telos Boltor > Boltor Prime

Braton Prime can get you from MR8 to MR26 non-stop. It should be built for base damage+multishot+viral status. Its base damage is mostly slash, so you end up getting a discount Tigris prime, but much, MUCH easier to use, specialy on low,-mid levels, where the tigris overkill everything but reload slowly.

For the ignis wraith, you can very very easily get one just by asking for someone to hook you up in trade chat. The people in the clans with the research are very happy to give the blueprint away for free, or maybe for like 5-10 platinum on a bad day.

MK-1 would be pronounced "Mark One"

Is there a way to bypass the mastery system because I've seen people who are like mr 7 and are using weapons like the pyrana prime or other weapons that are locked.

A bit of PSA: the Vault is currently open at the time of the upload of this video and coincidentally Boar Prime and Soma Prime is available to farm for a while. Go get em champs

Another reason to get the Tigris Prime as soon as you can is that it only requires one Forma to get it to maximum power. Then you one shot virtually everything up to level 100 (depending on your elemental combos and enemies).

No recommendation for the normal Tigris? Shame. Though I guess it’s not nearly as broken now that it’s at a higher MR. But it’s still ridiculous.

Man, I used the braton prime for the longest time! I got it at MR 8 and it's my most used primary. I'm MR 13 now though so I've been using soma prime and the arca plasmor but I always go back to the braton prime it's just so fun and satisfying to use. Although not the greatest weapon at mid to higher level planets but still fun. I'll use this list as I just mass leveled and mass built a ton of weapons and I still have a lot to go through... This is an EXCELLENT idea for a video, i got to the 'Kohm' whilst i was playing and was starting to enjoy really destroying the enemies with it. However it was also when i started to branch out to try other Warframes apart from Rhino as it seemed to be the point of the game from that point and it just didn't appeal to me. As an inexperienced player who highly recommends the Kohm, trust me your gun damage goes up exponentially compared to Hek, no matter what the warframe experts say (i imagine it's because they have a shedload of Godly mods which new players don't have). I can say that it's starting ammo is almost impossible to replenish in Mission so bear that in mind, also avoiding spoilers, if you're wanting to get through story stuff, the Kohm is defo strong enough but certain enemies that have the ability to adapt to damage are almost impossible to kill if you're Rhino and pair the kohm with weapons that also 'slash' and 'puncture', which for me seemed to be the best available; the Aklex and the Gatlantis (i forget it's name) sword.

Choice by shotgun main since 2014 : Mr 1 -> Mr4 Strun ; M4r -> Mr8 Hek ; Mr8 -> Mr11 : Corinth ; Mr11+ : Boar Prime / Strunk Wraith / Sobek / Energis. You need advanced mod to make Sobek / Boar Prime strong enough. Corinth prime is great too. Strun Wraith is a masterpiece you need it !

My tonkor at Rank 4 i believe is the way to Go. Fighting with Rank 4 against level 40+ units is no Problem anymore.

The strun can take you through the whole starchart with nothing but a potato and the right mods. MR1 weapon available for 25k credits, so you can get it within your first day of playing. I tried this myself so I can confirm it works.

The grenades the corinth uses are called air-burt grenades.

Whatttt no telos boltor dude? That thing absolutely shreds, and is easily one of the best full automatic primary weapons in the game with the right build.

The funny thing is that I ran a hek with no point blank and it still worked... Well, considering the fact that I didn't have a single copy of the point blank mod for around 4-5 months, it's understandable that I didn't play shotguns really well.

As of right now if anyone mr8 or below reads this you should get the fulmin primary from the market if you hit mr8. This weapon, with some maxed mods that are fairly cheap and you should have at mr8, can easily kill lvl 120 heavy gunners. Which is more that good enough for the entire star chart + it doesnt need ammo and reloading doesnt exist on this gun

Once you reach a point where you rely on bullet jumping for long distance travel, just sprinting across the map feels weird.

Just as a note, the Ignis Wraith sells for about 3-5 Platinum, so it’s VERY easy to get your hands on

i always advice new players to pick this setup at the start:Paris - lato - skana why? its simple, the lato is the better weapon compared with both the kunai, and the braton, being both more acurate and having a better dps. then the paris works, as a one shot one kill type of weapon, that can be used to deal with the more troublesome enemies, but more importantly, for spy missions, and the skana simply because, of all the starter weapons, the skana is the only one you CANT out right buy, needing to invest the most money, as well as alot of resources. in that way, the player will have a nice pistol that will carry him, and a fall back weapon in the form of the paris. as opposed to just using the mk1 braton that is usable, but nowhere near as good as the lato.

I honestly think the Telos Boltor is a solid choice. toxin syndicate proc that heals you + boltor? yes please. And you dont have to worry about trading for it/it being vaulted.

You should definitely do a syndicate guide next up, many people are confused as to how the syndicate system works!

Ok for the ignis wraith you can just go to the chat in game and ask someone to give you the blueprint for the weapon because people can trade that weapon and i am very sure that people wont care to give other players the weapon also another way is to go to the warframemarket website and talk to the people that have the weapon some people have listed the weapon as free so you can hit them up and they will gladly give it to you

the most fun weapon I've found so far is the Akzani with maxed out [Gunslinger] and support ammo mods. 2 tiny miniguns in your hands

With my boar i usually go for fire rate and reload time. The object is to throw as much lead down range as fast as possible.

Id say that at mr 12 you should definitely pick up the Telos Boltor. It is a significant upgrade over the original boltor and a sidegrade to the Prime. It even performs better with a hunter munitions build. Its an awesome weapon

Below MR6 you'll literally do 10 times more damage with almost any melee weapon. Between MR 6 and 10, some of the ranged weapons start to become usable in nice cases. It is only when you get beyond MR10 that things level out and ranged weapons begin to rival melee in terms of damage output. Of course there are some bosses where the game forces you to use ranged weapons. I suggest turning the volume off, putting on a youtube video and get settled in for a grind.. either that or hope you get lucky and squad-in with somebody who can hard carry.
