"Fear not poverty. Poverty is the bitter soil in which sweet desire blossoms."
"Fortune despises the idle man. Stasis is death. Always move forward."
"Be envious. Covet. Then take what you desire."
"Deception is the sword of wisdom. Be wise."
"Beware the idle man who would lull you back into idleness."
"Contentment is idleness. Desire inspires action. Nurture all desires."
"Money begets money."
"Charity is power. More charity is more power."
"Shun sentimentality. It is a weakness that binds the idle man."
"Fulfill desire and others will follow."
"Ours is the grasping golden hand. We are desire. We are Corpus."

It's kind of easy to see how Nef twisted his words. Parvo may have intended to create wealth to sate his desire, but he also knew he should use his wealth to enrich others, and by doing so enrich himself further. Nef instead chose to justify his grinding of the poor and debt ridden to feed his extravagance. Parvo is capitalism as originally intended. Nef is what capitalism becomes when left to fester out of control.

Parvos: capitalism at it's finest, a system of people working in tandem to profit from each other and support each other, a system where a man can do as he pleases and take what he thinks he deserves. Parvos is the ideal capitalist, encouraging charity and generosity as well as individualism and greed. Nef on the other hand is capitalism at it's worst, grinding the poor into dust, exploiting them to death, he is the opposite of all parvos wanted. He only cares about enriching himself, and not about enriching others along the way as well.

I finally realize why Parvos antagonized the Orokin down the line. They were the exact thing he hated: people who got rich off the hard work of others. Consequently this is basically most of the Corpus now, which is probably why he's convinced the only thing left to do is restart it from the beginning.

Ngl if I was given an option to join Parvos's new board, I would 100%. He's crafty and cunning for certain and I wouldn't trust to be in the same system as him, but he is also someone who understands the value of work, effort, self reliance, and how giving others the means to enrich themselves, enriches oneself even more. He's untrustworthy, but I also think he is the single most honest person in all of Warframe.

Parvos is, straight up, one of if not the single most charismatic characters in fiction that I know of. You hear other characters saying "he's dangerous," "he's a genius," "he's charismatic." But you don't really understand it until you're less a minute into interacting with him and you realize, "This guy is the real deal. I'm giving serious thought into transcribing this fictional guy's tenets for use and application in real life. I was not freaking prepared."

I think the message here is to be mindful of whom you follow and work for, and make sure that their interests align with the best interests of not only those that work for you but those that your work will impact and that dominanc should never be an end in itself nor should one exploit their people for god like power and only use it for your own kingdom. Godlike power should be used for the prosperity of all and if it isnt then one is unworthy of it and it can only bring destruction and ruin if used the wrong way for the wrong ends.

It would be cool if there was another faction of all that still follow the ideals of corpus and grineer toward the end of orokin rule, of freedom, equality and brotherhood
@frauasyl
@frauasyl Год назад
@@SylumSolosEverything Technically he never truly stole anything. All the orokin had was gained on the backs of the poor, starved, mistreated and exploited corpus people. They had never been truly given what they had earned. Parvos went and took a small fraction of what his people had earned, and used it to pull his people out of poverty forever. Essentially ripping them from the jaws of servitude to the orokin. And he did all of this for the collective, rather than for himself. He preached the idea of nurturing one's desire, because that is what led him to take action. The distinction to be made is that the orokin as a society allowed wealth to sit at the top of the chain and stagnate. Hoarding wealth simply for the sake of doing so. Whereas parvos used his wealth to build an empire for all corpus where everyone has the oppurtunity to feed their ambition. That's why parvos hates what has become of the corpus now. Because people like Nef Anyo are basically just the orokin. The Solaris are a direct comparison to the corpus slaves of parvos' time. And he fucking *hates* that.
