Afaik there are Orokin Emperors that are probably have higher power than the 7 Executors. It was briefly mentioned In the description of Targis Prime armor. Unfortunately there's no details or descriptions of the Emperors because DE seems to like the Executors more for some reason. And we don't know if the Emperors are as insane as Ballas is. Besides, the 7 Executors were more like the judicial branch of the Orokin Empire.

@@iwillzpwnu5686 They were judges but they were also somewhat like ministers, seeing how Ballas was also the head of multiple Orokin projects like the creation of the Tau terraforming mahcines that would become the sentients, creating the bio-engineered infested supersoldiers that would become the warframes and handling the Tenno after they were rescued (since he seems to have had the authority to decide to use them as operators, the practical parts were mostly handled by the archimedeans who answered to him, i.e. margulis & Silvana.)

@@aravinds3846 i'd like to one day see Warframe do something akin to throwing us back in time(not necessarily lorewise) to when the Orokin Empire ruled and have us see and suffer through everything that we forgot and meet the cruel bastards that put us through it just so we can kill them again, but this time REMEMBER every detail

@@iwillzpwnu5686 I always thought that the Seven were essentially the Emperors, Judges and de-facto rulers of the Empire. Then again we're only shown the power of two. Nihil being able to create Cephalons and pulse energy to create monsters out of glass across the entire origin systems, while Ballas could manipulate energy, create portals, turn off warframes, absorb energy through touch, have immortal youth via some means probably continuity and of course they were hyper-intelligent being able to create weapons and technology that were magical in appearance. Each one symbolizing their most valued traits speed, power, cunning, agility, endurance, cooperation, and stealth. With each one having to prove oneself through the trials to become Orokin while the rest remained as serfs or slaves. Either way, they did not seem like the type of rulers one would want to live under. Especially since some wore dismembered bodies as living halloween costumes for fun.

I disagree, I believe Ballas truly loved Margulis. But deep inside he knows that even Natah cant replace her and so he goes on a rampage to take the whole system with him. Unlike the archimedians he never seemed to be interested in "starting over" in tau either. He is merely a man who lost the only thing he ever truly cared about, and isnt able to deal with it in any way so he attempts to take the system with him.

Which describes the Orokin overall pretty well actually. You don't reach a Kardashev Scale 2 (Bordering on 3 even) Civilisation by being fools but they grew into one of the worst examples.

We all thought Ballas was Erras puppet while in reality HE was the puppeteer all along

The Orokin aren’t that strong as you think, we slaughtered their strongest back in the Terminus after the Old War ended ( Stalker codex entry, and Octavia’s anthem say the same). Ig the only reason Ballas lasted longer here was due to his staff. I don’t know why they allowed us to use Warframes during the climax. Would have been better with just the operator/drifter.

idk, from ballas's character even since the sacrifice, he always struck me as 2 steps ahead, the only confusion i had was when the lotus "turned" on him in chimera, but then i also remember reading lots of lore about him and seeing a theory that he was using transference on erra (like he did to the lotus in the boss fight), i got the idea from how sinister his character was that he was too smart to simply be enslaved by the sentients.

Well all of this bad things are direct consequences of his actions

before you feel too bad remember that he made pretty much all of this happen deliberately. Margulis was executed by a unanimous vote from the Seven, including Ballas; we learn from the Glassmaker that if he had done anything other than vote in favour, even abstain, the sentence could not have been passed. He knowingly made it happen, then blamed everybody else for it and tried to engineer the Orokin genocide as well. His corruption is what caused Margulis's death, not the other way round.

Do you want a mind blowing fact ? He was the reason all these things happened. He is the one who created the Sentient Programme and the one who introduced sentience in a bid to take over and become numero uno

@@aravinds3846 doesn’t surprise me. After he got rid of us and the Lotus the first thing he did? Build an empire even if he said he didn’t want said empire why bother making one? He could have let the Sentients loose on the Origin System and let them raze it but he didn’t. Then he had a tempter tantrum when Space Mom and her Child came to put him in his place lol.

Excuse me what? Ballas never once changed his allegiance or beliefs during the whole of Warframe, from backstory to gameplay. He was always on his own side. Manipulating his lover in truly abusive ways, turning on the Orokin when his narcissistic designs didn't pan out, using the Tenno as gophers to make his weapon, and deceiving the Sentients to have an army of his own, all with the end-goal of an empire all around his persona, and deciding to scrap EVERYTHING because a couple of people didn't worship him like everyone else. He could never be on any but his own, as a true narcist would. The only reason it looks like he changed bands is due to his nature being presented through a prolonged process through the game.

@@grimskyegrave8603 Regardless of what you said: DE still made a great villain. They introduced him and formed him via many appearances, clearly giving out his motives later on and, as you said, with his own selfish and narcisstic persona. He even tortured a Dax officer, transformed him into a Frame and made him kill his own son. For Umbra, a horrorfying experience...and we experienced it first hand via his memories, giving us even more reasons to hate-love him as a villain and also to see what kind of a monster Ballas actually is. What Umbra went trough is something no one ever should. And all that made Ballas just more believable. From a game and writing design perspective he was done really well. If your goal is to make a villain which people shall "hate" later on, to give you a big satisfactory feeling when you finally finish him, that certainly is not something you can execute in 2 missions or so. It needs a build up. And after so long, following his past (and present in New War), the conclusion was fantastic. He got what he deserved. And his excellent voice actor + all the lines he spoke added the well deserved touch to all that. He did an outstanding job.

@@KoreanBackdash Oh, I ma not saying he was a bad villain. I mean, have you seen the prime trailers and the detron scan? Those things paint a chilling and intense frame for the character, add what he does in the game and it's absolutely amazing. A fine piece of crap absolutely full of himself and with an amazing degree of pettiness. A good antagonist that have those qualities and does not become "lesser" for having them, like many believe. My beef is with people thinking he has a deeper motive beyond himself and his ego, and that think he was actually on a side that wasn't himself. He didn't join anyone, the others were mere pawns that did not realize it. He did not believe in anyhting but himself, else, why go to such lenghts to make a Margulis that actually choose him over everything else? And that is cemented on stuff like what the Veils make people see of him, or even the whole "For Narmer" song. It was never Ballas and the Orokin or the Sentients, it was just Ballas and tools to plaster his image in creation.

@@KoreanBackdash I'm sorry, I can't agree with you. It's really easy to make someone hateable. It's a lot harder to make them hateable and respectable at the same time. In The New War you can practically taste how much of a jerk DE was trying to make him so they can make a hateable final boss. They totally overdone his nasty side turning him from a subtle manipulator into an insane supervillain. He is still great, greater than most other antagonists you see in videogames in fact. But he also has a lot of wasted potential.

@@TennoSkoom he was insane and broken since he was introduced to us. Even his death (by the Operator and Umbra) was planned all along.

@@bigjim9956 Vallas does look beautiful with the vegetation growing through the snow but I still feel weird about how fast everyone seeming bounced back. Like imagine a battle in WW2 just skipped 20 years of recovery in a single day

Really all they had to do was knock the narmer veils off. Once the funky narmer sentients disappeared they couldn’t enforce everything so people like Little Duck or Space Jeff Bezos(nef anyo) and Vay Kek could just start yanking the veils off of people. I’d assume other strong-willed people would be able to take their own veil off like the Drifter did.

Ballas has been a heavy player in the game since 2015. That's not really a short time. Plus i have to disagree with the "first" part. That would be Hunhow as the main villain of the Second Dream, which completely changed the entire game as we knew it.
