Once upon a time, l remember DE making a kubrow pattern that was random, looked cool, and by extend was highly sought after and expensive. They removed because they had "made a slot machine". Oh how have things changed...
De will say “platinum isn’t directly tied to the rolling of the riven so it isn’t gambling real life money” but there’s people that will sell kuva like 10p per roll or 1p every 100 kuva, its a shady business due to you not knowing if they’d give your riven back if you got a good roll
they stopped because of one player no joke i watched a vid where one of the devs talked about it the dude was throwing alot of money at that system and they removed it even though they were making alot from that guy
Tip for farming sorties for Rivens: If a sortie mission locks you into using only one type of weapon you can still use a Warframe's Exalted weapons to completely bypass that lock. like EEEExcalibur's Exalted blade, or Mesa's regulator pistols. it's a niche tip, but if you ever find yourself with only bad weapons for the daily sortie, you still have an out
Shorter Basic Version - RivenMods: Unique mods with random stats specific to one weapon. They are provided to you unveiled and asking to be put to a specific type of weapon with a challenge for you to complete in order to unlock it. Stats are based on RD (Riven Disposition) which, RD, is also based off of weapon popularity/usage... High usage leading to lower disposition and vice versa. Rating 1-5, RD lists 1 as the least powerful stats to 5 being the strongest disposition, of course, with better stats. Using kuva, you can roll rivens which changes the mod stats at the starting cost of 900 kuva which then rises with each roll capping at 3,500 kuva per roll. Doing a transmutation on 4 riven mods will provide you with a new veiled riven mod. Farm: You may only "farm" rivens from daily sorties (Sorties unlocked after completing The War Within quest) or trade 10 riven stars (achieved from requiem mods) to Palladino, Iron Wake, Earth for a riven mod. Archgun Riven mods can be bought from Arbitration honors in the relays and companion Riven mods from Cephalon Simaris also in the relays. Trade: Riven mods are tradable. They can range from a bit over 100 plat to thousands of plat depending on the stats and player (a player may be greedy and overcharge).
I have a rifle one that says to use a bow in flight to kill a certain creature. I haven't come across the creature in the mod yet. My question is it any bow or a certain bow that is required?
@@OrangeRocks1986 Typically, bow specific riven challenges only apply to traditional bows like Dread or Daikyu and excludes crossbows like Nagantaka and Attaca and also excludes explosive bows like Lenz or Kuva Bramma. Despite saying rifle riven mod, the unveiled riven can be equipped to most primary weapons, except shotguns.
7:27 as fair as I'm aware the disposition will only show up in your upgrade screen if you currently own a riven for that weapon. Otherwise its just not shown but I'm sure there's some spreadsheet out there that has it all Also, riven mods with a negative have a higher cap for the positives. Your example about the dispo being 5 instead 1 making the crit damage go up to like 150, well if you had a negative stat then it would go up even higher like 200 for example. Bogus numbers of course but you get the idea Both of these are well known info, I'm surprised and disappointed you didn't mention them
i knew about negatives making positives stronger but i always wonder if you have 1 positive and 1 negative, it will be a higher positive % than a 3positive 1 negative? does less positive variatiy makes those % better?
You can get rivens before the war within, one way is from Nightwave rewards, and you can trade for them straight away. I got a Multi, Damage, cold, -zoom riven for my Ignis wraith before I had even cleared Neptune lol
Forgot to mention that if you want to transmute them you have to go farm a special item from doing the 3-eidolon bounty on the Plains and it only drops from the Hydro at the end. So a huge pain for people that are overflowing with rivens but haven't gotten a good Eidolon build set up yet. [points at self]
One small error (I guess you’d call it that) +recoil is considered a curse so your acceltra has 2 positives and 1 negative and you can have ex: cc cd dmg +recoil on a riven
But does recoil even matter on acceltra? Tbh i dont think its that bad because you usually just spam that gun till your hearts content i never aim with it unless i have a mod that increases crit chance or damage if i aim
I got something similar, Kill 25 enemies with finishers without taking damage. I learned that stealth kills counts as finishers, so since i didnt have a good stealthy warframe, id go to earth kill like 4-5 without taking dmg, then abort and replay the mission, rinse repeat
I wish Palladino allowed us to trade for more rivens. I came back to the game maybe a month ago and am sitting on over 200 slivers after buying everything I can with them.
thank you. I have over six hundred hours( I’m mr 10 don’t bully me I’m just lazy )and I have no riven mods lol, just got new war done because I needed a necradoot. now I have another thing to grind for, yippee.
Pupsker has 24 riv capacity. You think that is good? The max is 150 if one is below MR30 and 180 above MR30 because one gets 30 riv slots for free by becoming MR30
This is the guide after the guide, today it's riven mods, now, I'm gonna talk about the ways to get rivens pupsker didn't mention in his video and what are rivens specifically. First, the unmentioned ways to get rivens(technically only two), steel path honours would sell them by chance each week for 75 steel essence The second way to get veiled rivens are from simply trading, stalk trade chat, you'll get some surprises there. Now, how many different types of rivens are there? By genre, there are rifle rivens, shotgun rivens, pistol rivens, melee rivens, archgun rivens, companion weapons riven, zaw rivens(or trash) and kitgun rivens. Riven mods usually consists of challenges and sometimes a extra specific challenges, the challenges are in the following, Kill X amount of enemies Kill X amount of enemies with finishers Finish an (random) level 30+ mission without being detected, without defense target being damaged, without being alerted Kill X amount of dargyn pilots while in mid air Kill X amount of unalerted tusk ballista with headshots Pick up syndicate medallions Find caches in level 30+ sabotage/exterminate missions Land Killing blows on sentients Sustain X melee combo multipliters in X seconds Catch X amount of fish without missing a shot Land X headshots with 1 single aim glide Catch one fish, mine a gem and kill an enemy within 30 seconds Kill X amount of animals with a fishing spear Destroy X dargyns with a bow Kill X amount of enemies while they're on a dropship Destroy vruush turrets while in Archwing neutralize a simaris target without using abilities or siphon traps extra challenges have: Not alerting the enemies Not raising any alarms Do it in one day Do the riven while in solo mode or alone Equip X Dragon key Without using energy consumables Hold for X seconds There's too much to write.... can't exclude them all... Extra fact, the harder the challenge is (e.g.complete a level 30 defense mission without the defense target taking damage and not using energy consumables), the higher chance of the riven being high tier e.g. Acceltra, Rubico And that's all I have to fill for this guide after the guide. Happy hunting, Tenno
@@detonater7441 Warframe isn't a game to need to have been restarted once changing or building pcs. Your account is saved on their website so the only way for you to lose stuff is if your account is no longer on their website. I had an old pc, barely ran the game, later upgraded to a better pc and as usual, everything is uninstalled and non saved stuff were gone but all I had to do was install the game and log in. It would make more sense if you were throwing away your console nd switching to pc or another console seeing as there is no cross save.
I'm not sure you yet realize everything about how the stats work. You didn't mention that a negative stat makes the positives stronger. And, there are 'good' negatives. For instance on many weapons -zoom is considered good. When it is present, the positive stats will have higher percentages than they would be without it. Of course -crit chance on something like Soma is a terrible roll. So know your weapon and think things through before you dismiss a roll.
i knew about negatives making positives stronger but i always wonder if you have 1 positive and 1 negative, it will be a higher positive % than a 3positive 1 negative? does less positive variatiy makes those % better?
@@JoeMama-nl5yk lets say you get a riven that gives idk 76% extra crit damage and 64% crit chance with no negative well if you re-roll it and get a negative with the crit damage and chance again, then it will be higher then 76 and 64 lets say 83 and 72 respectively. the negative could be something harmless like less impact on a weapon with already low impact damage. rivens with high dispositions can get absurd percentages like over 200% damage that can get higher with a negative. so when you reroll a riven try and aim for not only good positive stats you want but a harmless negative as well
I honestly feel like I'm never gonna reach mr 16 I just reached 6 and it takes forever even after fully maxing out like 6 warframes. I guess I just need to try different weapons since I'm kinda attached to the same ones.
I'm trying to get a riven for a specific weapon but I opened a lot a riven and none was for the weapon can you open a riven for a specific weapon or will it always be random which weapon it chooses
These comments are so toxic for such a wholesome video. Provides helpful tutorial> Every wanna be vet MR12 sees video> Bullies anyone lower then them for having a different playthrough.> disagrees common knowledge> hates warframe market cause it has "inaccurate prices" Anyone else notice that it's right about there (mr12-mr14) where all the players (relatively) become absolute know it all asshats? Yet know little to nothing.
Guys can someone please explain how i should choose the faction in early game because im not sure about what warfranes im going to get first and i dont realy understand how to choose the faction .So i probably need some advice to understand what to look at in those factions.
Do you mean syndicates? Theres a way to have 4 up at once so you can basically get all the mods and weapons you want, they really have no impact on the game outside of you not being able to get a few augments, decorations, sigils, and weapons, they do affect the eximus kill squads that come after you. Hexis: corrupted lancers, Suda: eximus ospreys,Perrin: eximus moas, Loka: eximus ancients,Meridian: eximus rollers, and lastly veil: eximus chargers, you can always buy the mods and weapons from other players for 10-20 plat for mods and 20-40 plat on weapons on average and sell the ones you pick for roughly the same amount in order to level 4 syndicates at a time you’d have to level example: perrin and veil then merridian and loka will level in the background you have to look at the others to see the ones they “hate” and “dislike”
One question and I realize this an old video and all, but with rivens being specific to specific weapons, does that mean if I get a Riven on say, the Braton. Is it only able to be used on the standard Braton or will it apply to the Braton Prime too? Or even the MK-1 variant? I ask because if I get a Riven for a weapon I have the standard variant, but am still working on the Prime variant, it'd be nice to be able to get the Riven done in the process of waiting for it as well.
Hi Pupsker. I got my first riven mod and i can see it in my mods section of my orbiter, but i cant find it to upgrade my weapons or my warfare? Can you help me out here. Thank in advance.
Things like Rhino's Iron Skin, Revenant's Mesmer Skin, or Valkyr Hysteria, that give immunity to shields and health while the ability is active. You can also go stealth as Pupsker has said, and/or large area crowd control to stop enemies from attacking in the first place. If you really have nothing else, just kill enemies before they can shoot you.
@@taryth. wouldn’t use valkyr, if you swap to the scanner it could count you as using a gun and fail the challenge from being shot and even just using her 4 could due to “without using abilities” and it’s very energy hungry.
Hm. I have to go do the heart of Deimos quest as I haven’t completed it. I also got a riven from the war within at mr5. Just need to lvl up my revenant.
Pick a Sniper, get to the highest point in any map(I'd choose Orb Vallis) and shoot the enemies below. Should be a headshot(because you're higher) and should be 75 meters, I think. Not sure how high the statue is, but good luck!
