Primed Parallax would be way better. DE keep burdening us with these temporary buffs that just make the gameplay more complicated and annoying. They urgently need to understand that impracticality or annoyance is the worst possible way to balance something they think is too strong. Buff to damage at the cost of a mod slot, for a couple of seconds after a reload from empty is trash. They need to find a better way to buff decurions, or whatever dumb archweapon with low magazine size that they want to buff. Most vets bought the mod because it is a primed mod after all, who knows when Baro will bring it back, right? But it's still garbage mod for a trashy, annoying buff.
Complex, Conditional, and temporary buffs are all fine. A more complex and quite frankly more difficult game for veteran players is something WF desperately needs and DE so far refuses to after 11 years. The issue is, like you also mentioned, that the buff is terrible. Flat damage doesn't change the fundamental issue with archguns, being that they take forever to deploy, have very limited ammo outside using Lavos or Dispensary, and don't get the vast majority of ability, mod, and arcane buffs, which makes their actual damage terrible. If Archguns can't just be actual heavy weapons that deal more damage to everything than regular guns, then they need to all have gimmicks that serve a purpose, and not just "this enemy only takes damage to archguns" like Profit Taker. Like one Archgun of their choice should deal more damage to Bosses (like bypass some of their damage attenuation or even all of it if you hit a weakpoint). Another could strip armor without any mods at all and be gokd at it. Another could be like a chain reaction tool to spread status better than any gun, balanced by limited ammo. Just some ideas. They said they're working on it but hopefully they actually deal with the actual problem and not just bandaid mods that dont do anything.
Baro ALWAYS brings back atleast 1 item of a visit atleast 10 visits ago. So the earliest visit possible that brings back Primed Deadly Efficency is 06/12/2024.
Archguns have no chance to keep up with normal weapons. They're outdated, have no Arcanes, no special/powerful mods...nothing. Also doesn't help that besides Mausolon there's not a single good Archgun. Maybe Imperator Vandal, but that's about it.
It's cool if a weapon slots it well, building merciless stacks is only a problem on weak weapons, for example. In this case though, its too weak before AND after getting your 1 stack. Id say many conditional mods etc. for the most part are just sorta there, deadhead and stuff are cool for buffing certain playstyles a bit. That said, it'd be cool if archguns specifically have no buildup. You grab big gun, big gun shoots hard. Also... a weapon already having to be good enough at building stacks by killing so it can kill better just reinforces what's strong and weak. I generally prefer condition overload etc., if it does this one thing well, it now kills better. It balances weapons so they can scale into higher levels without 1shotting lower ones. Merciless just struggles more the higher you go.
@@Gnurklesquimp2 I agree that "kill enemies" as a condition isn't ideal for the reasons you stated. But the condition can be a ton of things. CO is based off status for example. You dont need to kill an enemy, only prime them. Other conditions would be interesting. That being said, we're so overpowered at the current difficulty of the game that any frame with weapons buffing abilities (and anyone can subsume roar) can get a bad gun to work if you mod correctly, and at higher levels (like 1hr Void Cascade/Circuit) if you have some kind of armor strip. The only exception is that some weapons are irredeemably bad against bosses. but thats why you bring 2 other weapons. I think DE should shy away from just flat buffs to weapons and instead do what they did with the Tenet Glaxion and give weaker weapons Unique passives and mods. That would be much more interesting than just giving every weapon an Incarnon (and they cant give every weapon an incarnon anyway because of the alt fire limitation).
@@awk6204 "super baro" is just regular baro but he has every single item he has ever put for sale up for grab. You won't have to wait for a specific mod for baro to sell cause he will literally be selling everything he has ever sold. There is a catch though, it's only available if you cough up actual cash for it. You need to buy the digital ticket to access the special relay baro resides in during this event. I would say it's sort of worth it but it depends on if you value spending cash or not onto this game. people who don't have the ticket will miss out on this baro and will just have to get their specific item baro might sell by just pure luck whenever he appears normally. If you don't want to spend cash, I would 100% recommend farming plat to buy the items you want cause mostly everything goes down in price during this event since it's basically "free" if you have the ticket so LOADS of people are going to sell the stuff he sells

@@awk6204 when you buy the tennocon digital pack or go to tennocon, you get a ticket ingame to go to an exclusive relay that baro will be at and he sells everything that he has ever had.
@@awk6204 super baro is for people who bought the digital tennocon ticket. Baro will have all the primed mods that he sold in the past. This is the best time to get those popular mods like primed continuity, primed flow, primed pressure point etc
i feel like the reason why DE doesn't want to make primed CC for arch gun is because they are deeply afraid of what void rig's exalted can do with it pretty much every time void rig has been accessible in any mission, the said mission has had its elite enemies buffed with some of THE MOST aggressive forms of damage attenuation ever existed, so i would assume them not wanting to buff it at all in any way is why we don't have primed CC and as for primed multishot, they already have bite that bullet with introduction of 60% radiation mod for arch guns, we have always been capable of hitting 190% on arqubex so i don't think making the prime mod would not have changed things from what it used to in regards of void rig's 4 in their eyes
Ngl they can just rebalance Voidrig's 4 in relation to the buffed mod if they're that afraid. They've already done that when they rebalanced the amount of HP/shield/energy all frames have resulting in a +1-2% buff across all frames.
@@DawnAfternoon If by rebalance you mean nerf, then people like me will be rightfully upset at them. But at that point, DE should also rebalance every single enemy that void rig is designed to fight against as well (iso mechs, demo mechs, orphix etc ... ) Which is a LOT of work, just because a single weapon in game is capable of dealing 10mil damage per sec
I think like they were going to add primed parallax scope but then thought that might be too much with dual rounds being last week so they primed the worst archgun mod possible instead but forgot to fix the equip condition.
A better primed mod than deadly efficiency? Oh i dont know how about: primed murmur faction mod/any primed weapon elemental mod/primed streamline/primed point strike/primed vital sense/primed organ shatter? Or if just archgun mods then: primed critical focus/primed automatic trigger/primed parralax scope/primed hollowed bullets.

what if deadly efficiency was made to be equal to the now primed Deadly efficiency, and primed was 320% damage for 24s? Would it be worth running then? It would have the stats that are near what arcanes give us.

Lol, this is bad man. They probably took the crit mod as base and changed the code but forgot to add the proper overlap protection leaving the one from the wrong mod in the code 😂
