The presentation looks far more immersive than the original. I’m digging it. Hopefully it delivers. The lighting & structure art design all looks spot on.
I absolutely love the attention to detail as well. Look at Titus’s backpack, it shows the heat exhaust coming out from the top ports like it should. A lot of people don’t realize those aren’t the SM jet packs but the power packs used to power the SM armor.
Close. The exhaust vents are the four square ones at the bottom of the bottom of the pack. The top ones are actually jet thrusters but only for thrust in void space and low grav planets.
@@DragonNinjaHayabusa98 anything you recommend doing/watching to understand the lore better? ill be honest this games recent trailers have gotten me interested in the franchise. coming from a star wars fan i have no issue with learning another behemoth of a universe
@@TheStewwe all were there in 2006 how dose that change that gears is a cheap version of 40k hated the cover mechanic that poisoned other games for years
I started listening to Horus Rising at work today, and I just kept thinking of this game. I know it's 10,000 years removed, but I just love 40k in general, and it's cool that we have so many games through which to experience it these days.
@@CrimsonFIame errr don't think you have proper experience with it. It's superb! Even on PC with half of features support in some games (eg. Witcher 3 ) via cable, it is awesome!
@@CrimsonFIameTrue. I often forget what the controller is capable of and I've played pretty much of all the Playstation mainline titles that's released on Ps5. Ratchet and clank kinda used some of it's functions
It'd be great too if we could get an online mode where we can customize our marine to a specific chapter. Need me some Blood Angels or Death Guard in this engine 🔥
Game looks awesome. Its unfortunate we will never truly get to experience a Warhammer 40k battle. You'd need a game that could render tens of thousands of troops fighting in massive open cities.
@@BoogiesFakeCancer If magnus shows up there is no possible way Titus lives unless say Guilliman or the Lion is also there. Magnus would just be able to pop Titus's head before Titus even realizes he's there or something.
The very end seems to be a Tzeentch incursion. That has me hyped even more. EDIT: Zoomed in and sure enough; those are Thousand Sons shooting at him. Definitely going to be a day 1 buy for me.
As a long time guard player/painter/collector im loving seeing all the guard tanks just randomly doing things in the foreground. A have a feeling ill be taking this game very slowly and just enjoying the environments as much as the game itself.
After twelve years seeing we are getting a sequel truly warms my heart. I love the original game and still have my copy which is being dusted off and my 360 is going to be brought back to life before i get my over anticipated acting mits get hold of this
The presentation is absolutely stunning. I hope they fix the LOD pop-in as it can be breaking to the immersion of the game that the artists have put so much into.
The bonus scene at the end of the video looks like something Tzeentch would come up with. IF we get Chaos involvement again, ti wont be at least Nurgle all over again
I live how that one tyranid 7:28 standing on top of the balcony just sat there and watched, hopefully they dont have such passive behaviour on normal mode! 💀💀💀
Yeah! Just read up on the Tyranids, otherwise known as the Great Devourer. Every ship, every monster it breeds are like cells of a massive living organism with a single consciousness. This is Warhammer's version of the Borg. Instead of technological assimilation, it eats all living biomatter and grows larger, producing more ships, more monsters etc.
The last Warhammer game I played was on ps3 and that was back in 2012 even for just a showcase I am impressed as compared to cod mw3's showcase this looks way better. Com0are the two showcases.
I hope there will be there will be a difficulty called "Astra Militarum" where you play as a Guardsmans and a achievment called "Sly Marbo" or "You are not supposed to do that!" if you manage to make the campaign. ×English isn't my native language, so sorry for any mistake in spelling or grammer×
I've been immersing myself in Warhammer 40k after I saw this games multiplayer and coop activities they are implementing and it got me so hyped! Now I'm going through an amazing rabbit hole. I honestly think Warhammer 40k can end up getting a huge video game scene and we can get more AAA games from this franchise! I'd love to see a rpg/open world/galaxy game! You could choose a space marine legion and use the huge ships as a base like the Normandy in mass effect. Anyway I really hope they go all in on games with this franchise!!
I been playing darktide and thats awesome and I cannot wait for this game . Edit . Watching the fighting reminds me of one of my favourite films 🎥 day after tomorrow.
