Yarrick as a killing machine is a massive misunderstanding of his character and narrative purpose. He's a symbol of hope and resolve for Armageddon's defenders, not a one man army. He was an old man long past his physical prime by the time of the 3rd war for Armageddon. Having him slaughter orks left right and centre is a symptom of the narrative decay of 40K.
@@lorddamocles2222 yea I agree seeing what he went through as a kid it understandable that he would fight as hard as he do. It not about him stop the ork for empire but so no one would go though what he did as a kid.
Imagine being such a hardcore MF that the Orks believe your dangerous enough that you can actually kill them by staring at them hard enough Yarrick is something else
Knowing how orks function, I wouldn't be too surprised if they psychically elevated Yarrick in some funny feedback loop. Basically, the more they think him a formidable enemy, the more formidable he becomes. Then add another, this time imperial, psychic feedback loop based on faith of billions humans who consider him a legendary figure. Yarrick is a blueprint for imperial saint with a -pinch- whole bucket of WAAAAGH thrown in. Probably the only way "geniuses" from Black Library can repent for their... _other antics_
Official fact: When Yarrick discovered that orks beleived that he could kill someone with a stare, he had one of his eyes surgically replaced with a laser so he could do just that!
Rest in power Commisar Sebastian Yarrick. Defender of Armaggedon. Greenbane. Archenemy of Ghazzgull Mag Uruk Traka. Old Bale-Eye. You will always be one of the Emperors finest 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
When the Orks you fought against will thump someone for not calling you "Warboss", you are either a ferocious badass, or you're Commissar Warboss Sebastian Yarrick.
Aye, they got the Imperium stuff sorted, but Sabaton Ork song would be something else entirely. Prolly something similar to Shotgun, simple and aggressive.
i was there that day in armagedon, the green skin keep coming not matter how many we kill, i think it was the end, that we will die for the emperor Then i see it, i see it standing over a death ork, holding his claw to the sun, hurt, tired but still defiant, he was not an angel of the emperor, not a custode, just a human, claiming for more to the point even the green skin run from him, that moment i knew it, he was the general i will follow untill the end of the world, to the gates of the inmaterium, to the end of the reality it self and back
Your correct. Ghazgul Mag Uruk Thraka, was Yarrik's Grod: in orkish that means Yarrik was Ghazgul's favorite enemy. The one he's always eager to fight. "Good enemies is hard to find" as he told Yarrik. But Angron, the daemon primarch of the World Eaters and servant of Khorne, killed Yarrik so Ghaz has made it his mission to find Angron and butcher the git for stealing his grod. And he's got a whole ork Waagh! With him to help
@@megazetabetaful didn't he get kidnapped by trasin tho? just before the planet cadia blown up you know the the nekron from the infinite and the divine that guy
awesome, well fitting. old bale eye slipped my mind but you brought him back! yarrick the unshakeable 02:17 that grin, you know hes coming back for more
So how should we introduce our new deamon primarch returning to the lore ? Oh Have him kill Yarrik offscreen Genius GW on how to introduce angron (i pray to the emperor that the death report is false)
@@LorenzoFerrari-d5e Yarrick was confrimed dead in the 9th edition IG codex. Angron killing him was an assumption made because the Angron model has a skull with a bionic eye, forgetting that Yarrick isn't the only person in 40k with a bionic eye. He proboably died of old age becuase he was pushing 100 by that point and regualr humans don't live much longer than that in the 40k universe.
Now as forces of Chaos are engaged in battle with Imperium, they are not aware of the Great Waaagghh coming their way. Let it be know, Orks are comming, and they will bring best of Gork and Mork to the fight, they will never back down until they get what even they didn't know was possible for Ork to need... Revange for a Human
"For the first war of armageddon, THE HEAD OF ANGRON! " "For the death of Yarric, THE HEAD OF ANGRON! " -hipotetical monologue of Gazgul Draka while fighting Angron (inspired by the one of Thorgrim Grudgebearer when fighting against Qeek)
I'm pretty sure they based Ol' Bale Eye off of Sir Adrian (the Unk'llable Soldier sung about). They got the same notable injuries and same drive to win against insane odds.
Commisar yarric is actually warhammer's version of the Unkillable soldier, both are missing an arm, both are missing an eye, both were old men who were unwilling to die nomatter what.
Fun fact, The Song Is Based On A Man Named Adrian Blah blah(you have no idea how hard it is to write) He was Injured Many Times In His Time Of War-ing, He Fought In The Boer War, Stationed in India Injured Himself While Riding a horse, After that he was Battling in WW1 Almost Every Campaign, Even The Somme. After That Helped The Newly Independent Poland Fight With The Soviets and Many Neigbouring Countries In which he was transported by plane that crashed 2 times, After that he went on a Train Which was attacked, he did fell off but managed to get on again. Then WW2. He was Going to Norwiegian Campaign(Which failed) In a Flying Boat. Yes it was shot. and yes he survived. Then He Mananged to Survive the Evacuvation Just in time for his 60th Birthday. Then He was in Some Italian Campaign to attack the Axis got capture by the Italians Escaped POW Camp Captured again Then was Freed When The Italians Wanted to side with the Allies. After That He Went To China for Advisory Reasons. Insulted Mao. Took a Sheit on Everything Communist. Went Back. Retired And Done.
A song about a one-eyed battlefield menace while another one-eyed battlefield menace in space is fighting xenos. Hold on, is Yarrick based on De Wiart?
