Greetings, Brothers and Sisters!
Today we will usher in the official RU-vid channel for the Dawn of War: Unification Mod with a first batch of custom-made voiceovers for the Necron factions.
We want to thank all of the developers, technicians and voice actors who took part of this Necron project and for all of the great work they've done!

I love these voices! So fitting for a race of Ancient Egyptian robots. And it's great to see a DoW mod with modern units.

is that what they are supposed to be? I think the thousand sons look more Egyptian than any faction in 40k

@@rmcgowa1987 Necrons can rival Thousand Sons in Egypt-ness with their phaerons (pharaohs), pyramids, heavy tomb influences etc.

@@rmcgowa1987 Necrons are literally inspired from Ancient Egypt. Even more so in the Age of Sigmar version.

@@MatthewVanston so are thousand sons you can see that quite clearly in their design but I do see it in the necrons now that I think about it

@@rmcgowa1987 Yeah, GW kinda made two ancient egyptian inspired factions. One with ghostly automatons, and one with (metal)bony automatons. But I have to give it to the Necrons if we're having an egypt-off. Imho the Necrons win in "egyptiness" when it comes to all aspects: units, buildings, names and political structure. But hey, there's enough Egypt for everybody :)

The Necron race is probably the only one that "all" of the voice lines match really well with each unit.

@@baklapjr It is a _nightmare_ to install, I agree. That said, it's worth the effort. I ended up having to wipe my install and start from scratch - I think UA and UM fight eachother if you try to install one after the other.

The soundtrack in question is extracted from Mechanicus and is called "Dance of the Crypteks".
