Hey, big fan, you are making my long way to work bearable However, what happened to demonworld? I really like the long read eye of terror Either way, thank you and please keep up the good work! And if I ever make enough money, I will Support you
It is awesome honestly. Should be used way more often but I've read a lot of chapters actually have it malfunction due to their geneseed. Can't remember which ones. Having the ability to go into melee combat and spit acid in someone's face!? Hell yeah! I spit on your honor along with your eyes mother f¹cker! Should be seeing Night Lords and Alpha Legion using it all the time. Just one more weapon in the Astartes incredible repertoire. Good for escaping. Cooking. Cleaning maybe? The Susanne membrane or whatever it is called also gets over looked. Pretty sure it isn't just to keep them alive during vacuum but just alive from mortal wounds as well. Pretty much cyrosleep. Also think some chapters need to recite some mantra, meditate or some ritual before it starts? Or to wake them up I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.
My first taste of the Flesh Tearers and it was delicious!😋 I can really hear your voice acting skill improving with each new reading. You certainly amped up the emotion and visceral excitement of captured Chaplin and his brother’s getting their revenge! “He who laughs last”...for the Emperor!
The 40K equivalent of "I am not trapped in a facility full of robots, YOU are trapped in HERE with ME!" Rest in Peace Rick May, you magnificent bastard o7
At times I forget that these aren't Black Library official. Love your work as always and you really brought the manic nature of a Flesh Tearer on the edge of the Black Rage to life. Superb.
I never knew much about the Flesh Tearers. Thinking they were just a crazed Blood Angel without an off switch. Turns out they’re a chapter full of Doom Marines. Nice.
Leutin09 puts up an hour long edition in his Imperial Planets series and A Border Prince puts up a Treacheries if the Spance Marines story. Is it Christmas? My Birthday, No......they are just that damn cool.
Holy crap, not very familiar with the Flesh Tearer chapter; but damn if those boys don’t dance along the thin line of Khorne worshiping legions. I was half expecting them to yell blood for the blood god! Rage incarnate! Freakin’ awesome!
SOO bloody good!!! Been listening to your channel for a little bit now, proudly supporting your great works!! Discovering your older work these days as I think I’ve listened to most all of them so far.. haha!! Great stuff!! You’ve not changed up your style much as I listen to these older (4years now) stories! Same zeal then as today!! Amazing!! Thanks again!!
DEATH! DEATH! DEATH COMPANY! Zogg yeah! ‘As the Blood is my Shield, let my Brothers be my Sword.’ - Litany of the Flesh Tearers. ‘From the Blood are monsters born, brother.’ Chaplain Apollos
At first thank you for your beautiful uploads, very good job and a huge effort bringing us joy. If i may, I started watching your channel for the readings of the short stories of the "Let the Galaxy burn" Anthology. I've noticed some short stories from the anthology haven't been read, such as "In The Belly Of The Beast" by William King, "Know Thine Enemy" - "Raptor Down" - "Acceptable Losses" - "Suffer Not the Unclean to Live" and "Nightmare" by Gav Thorpe, "Loyalty's Reward" and "Apothecary's Honour" by Simon Jowett, "Pestilence" and "Playing Patience" by Dan Abnett, "Barathrum" by Jonathan Curren. P.s. Sorry for my long list of short stories, I would be happy if you upload even one. Thanks again.
Another great story read. The manic rage in the voice, even the parts that were just the characters observations, added a lot to the feel of what it must be like to be a member of the death company.
Very well done, AB. First ever Flesh Tearers story I’ve listened to. You really did good with the energy you put into speaking the Chaplin’s lines, as well as the others. These stories you are reading are really helping me through lockdown. Thank you.
I love Apolis he's definitely my favorite chaplain of any chapter and Andy Smillie does such a great job writing flesh tearer stories Hunger and the assassination of gabriel seth are just excellent.
as always I enjoy your narration the energy you put into it the reading I appreciate all the work that you put into it to produce editing just I always enjoy your narration all I can say is thank you
I finally got to finish listening to this one man... Honestly, I just had to go ahead & restart it; because my ass was talking too damn much when you were streaming this that day... Then, in the middle of it all, the little woman had to voice her wants; and not the type I always tend to enjoy, ya dig... LoL.
I like how the Chaos Space Marine's Legion/Warband isnt specified. Its like the author is implying it doesnt matter who he belonged to, who his Gene Fatger was, he couldve even been a traitor from a loyalist Legion, not a single one could withstand the Black Rage _for even a second_ . None, except the Sons of the Angel.
Its good bit you can also use Autotune or Voice change apps to change the voice or sound like a Space marine in a Helmet. The German RU-vidr who is doint Audiobook of Warcraft is using it and its awesome. Just look in his account Name: Tales of War - by Julle
yeah i do occasionally. the issue is most of time marines have helemts on so they would be talking like thatr all the time and it would ruin the voices. also it adds on a lot of time to recording to do effects. im just doing this on my own so i only add effects in sparingly
@@davewalker3873 Exactly! All Blood Angels and their successor chapters have a flaw in their gene seed, the Black Rage, which can turn any normal battle brother into a permanent blood thirsty madman. Those who succumb to the Black Rage form into a Death Company led by a Chaplain who can "attempt" to "lead" his troops in hopefully the right direction as they will attack friend and foe alike. That's why the Chaplain didn't want to follow the Colonels orders as in doing so could threaten the lives of the guardsmen.
