Played on Hard mode fist blind, was actually surprised how many I missed although I really was checking everywhere Exterminatus is much easier atm because I now understand weapon cycling better for this game and overall secrets are super broken I mean warp grenade + Aura of Doom y Doom indeed Thanks for the guide too great video
The game has a weird mix of very well hidden secrets and other "secrets" that are in plain sight and reach that the devs forgot were still coded as secrets. Overall its not bad though. Some definitely had me scratching my head
If you want to really test your secret hunting skills, play Hexen (on max difficulty). That game is basically the OG Dark Souls long before Dark Souls was a thing.

If you don't want me talking crap about your texture graphics don't make inspecting off looking textures a intrinsic part of the game. I assumed fake walls didn't even exist my first play through only hidden unlockable doors through levers like the 2016 Doom Reboot, 100% because the wall textures are so dynamic and change color at distance that I assumed they wouldn't ask you to stop and go up to each wall and inspect it if it looks/looked off. I hate that.
I hate how all the false walls don't actually look like false walls. Also does anyone know what the machine spirit does to all the guns? I assumed it was just a damage power up but i know for the shotgun it gives it riccochet pellets and wanted to know if it does anything extra to other guns?
The bolter gets a damage boost and a mag increase. Shotgun gets those ricochet pellets, and shoots more pellets per shot. Plasma rifle has no overheat and splash damage either hurts you less or not at all, so you can shoot close-up enemies with it without self-damage and shoot it faster too. Also gets a bigger magazine. Heavy bolter becomes easier to run with while shooting. Melta gun gets extra damage and wider spread. Vengeance Launcher gets a larger explosion radius. Volkite Caliver does extra damage over time when focused on one target. Grav Cannon increases the range of the grav well.
@@redeye4516 Vengeance launcher also gets it's strength upgraded to 4 and grav cannon gets a stronger pull effect towards the center of the gravity well.
