It is such a fascinating song, Necromunda, and Van Saar is probably my favourite among the houses and gangers of the Hive World. If only they weren't locked in a struggle for dominance and could instead further explore the STC to unlock greater mysteries of the old Dark Age of Technology.

One point of note: they aren't exactly clans but gangs and houses. Aside from that, great video!

Wait if they're sealed in their suits how do they "make more Van Saars?" Do they recruit from people not close to the gang, do they have a special slot for "recruitment," or are they vat born?

All this talk of Chaos being the enemy yet most depictions of Tech Priests seem very chaotic. Hoses, chords and cables with no organization, rhyme or reason to them.

How close are the Van Saar to the Spyrer? I kinda miss the old Spyrer, human "Predator" flavour. They had. very few units but super OP. each fight was basically a hunt. PS loving the vids mate, keep up the good work!

“We have to keep poisoning ourselves to jealousy-hoard the machine secrets.” Deceiving and witholding from the Mechanicus...and those eight clawed arachnid limbs of this group's official sigul looks suspiciously similar to the eight points of Chaos Undivided, hrm hmm...Inquisition notation transmitted. The monochrome cross section image immediately following that of this House's insignia looks as intriguing as any cross section spread, though. From the dregs of organized scavengers to the Brotherhood of Steel. Typically, I have questions that I expect will (only likely?) be answered in forthcoming lore videos. Why the chosen symbol of a skull-headed clawed spider? How was this house's secured STC damaged and how badly? How did they get it? How does the irradiating affect the Van Saar, per se - only they specifically, or within a particular physical radius of the precious artifact? I'm somewhat surprised that this group keeps an “outer circle” from even knowing about the source of its monopoly and leveraged control. Plus, that they're are able to hide the truth of the STC sickness from its own members, however low-ranked. House Van Saar: we're not open to diplomacy, only to tech business - can we hook you up to some cancer? This elitism sure feels much like that of Immortan Joe and his clan in Mad Max: Fury Road. Superficial visual comparisons being suitable. Even the unit models shown after 10:28 have arrogant and elitist appearances. They believe that they prove the lie of the Mechanicus' Omnissiah truth, by having mere untalented manufacturing labourers build STC parts, eh? Well, they may be on to something there. “House of artifice”, I like that nice touch, Narrator. What I dislike most about this bunch is their hidden cancer. Practical yet still fanatical, as they would accuse Mars of being. However, thank you for another introduction to another major subfaction within this subseries, GDN. As for what I like and don't like about them: I don't like the gang's reliance on technology, mainly because it kinda pulls a David vs Goliath situation on the game table (I tend to play cultists or Cawdor). I do like that the lore actually gives them drawbacks for that reliance though.

Id bet theyre dealing with the Tau empire low key.
