I've been thinking about this for a few years now... wondering at the possibility of the Kriegsman's consistency in mentality and emotional influence, across such numbers of unwavering devoted humans, over such periods of time, that they are creating a manifestation in the warp. And that they too could fall under the influence of their own "legion of the damned". Warp-infused manifestations of supposedly, "fallen" astartes.

60 yrs. old and just starting. building and painting Astra Militarum. Painting 10 soldiers for 5 units, 4 Leman Russ', 4 Hydra, 2 each of the flyers, 4 Sentinels, and 3 Baneblades. Also 2 of the commanders.

A friend rolled a Krieg guardsman character for A Dark Heresy campaign we did... son of a bitch (by that I of course mean “Loyal Servant of the God Emperor of Mankind) nearly burned down half of a hive city trying to clean out a Chaos coven. It got messy.

Hehe. I did the same. Only we find nurgle minor demons. So my Kriegmen tried to convince the Our inquisitor to declare exterminatus on the planet. Burned the city to the ground anyways. Then detonated a nuke just to be sure. You would have thought my GM would have seen that coming after he let us find the damn thing guarded by nurgles touched. I mean he even let me backstory my Kriegmen as having survived the siege of varks from start to finish.

Equally douchy and pointless to define a levy on Krieg. I mean, in adition to already delivering 110%, a levy comes with a threat if not met. Administratum: ”Uhhhm, we lost Krieg” High Lord of Terra: ”Say the fuck what??” Administratum: ”Actually, we threatened them and now we are at all out war with them...” High Lord of Terra: * eyelids twitching*

I think the suffering of the people involved in “declaring war” on krieg would make a night lord blush and it would be considered a “local dispute” by terra since no one in a true position of power would ever allow things to get that bad and the sons of krieg would rather nuke the planet (again) before they let their planet fall to heresy (again).

Can you imagine the giddy excitement of the first Kommisars as they made planet fall to kick the worthless Krieg into something resembling an Imperial Army? I wonder if the Death Korp made the first Kommisars go through their standard live fire Blue on Blue exercises to see if _they_ were up to Krieg standards?

Both answers are right. The music is called: "Hell March" and it is the theme to the Red Alert video game series. If you are not familiar with it, Red Alert is an alternate history universe based on world wars of Europe & the US vs. the Soviet Union that occur after Hitler is killed in 1924.
