A deathwatch tv series has so much potential. You only have to keep track of a small kill team. Each character is unique. Every week there can be a new mission
1:29 love that the inquisition is immediately told to chill the fuck out considering that their initial strategy in space marine 1 was Exterminatus before being told that wasnt an option
That was a servitor doing a threat assessment/cost-benefit analysis, not the Inquisition being overly dramatic. For the Imperium Exterminatus is always the easiest way of dealing with a threat. So if the planet the enemy is attacking has nothing of value on it, why spend the resources to defend it? Just incinerate the planet and any fool willing to fight for it. Graia was valuable to the Imperium though, so Exterminatus was ruled out. Next they considered orbital bombardment, but that would have caused too much collateral damage to the Titan foundries. So the servitor came to the logical conclusion that the planet needed to be liberated on the ground. A liberation fleet was already under way, but projected to be too slow to reach the planet before the fall of the Titan foundries, which would have doomed the planet. So the only viable option left was to request the help of Astartes.
@@AnonD38 exterminatus is still the last resort and not easily given - even the inquisitor has to defend his actions and decisions with his higher ups... /high lords of terra / robert girlyman in the newest iteration of wh40k
@@Xingmey True, but when there is nothing worth defending on a planet, then Exterminatus is the most cost effective option. The threshold for what constitutes "worth defending" is rather low, so as long as there are people of fighting age on the planet and there isn't like a demon incursion or tyranid swarm on the planet, it should be worth defending already. Not to mention any critical assets that may be planetside like promethium refineries or Adeptus Mechanicus enclaves or something like that.
@@Xingmey Well don't think they'll be able to do it anyway. Exterminatus requires a ship to park in orbit and conduct the Exterminatus. This requires control of the space above the planet. If the Tyranids are already devouring the planet, then you've lost control of the space above the planet long ago. You're not parking a ship in orbit to conduct Exterminatus when a massive hive fleet is in the way.
@@nicholassmith7984 While both are centered around aliens, the MIB opts for more of a talk first, shoot in case, while the deathwatch is usually the other way around.
since with quadrillions of people and millions of space marines there is only 1 ulfar in the whole galaxy... we even run out of names here on earth - and not even every one of those 8 billion people has internet connection -, so you have to be number 25 with 8 character name... also rogue trader is 816.M41 space marine 2 is somewhere 4ooish.M42 some 600 years later
Titus was forgotten in stasis after the inquisitor who took him in was corrupted by Chaos. The Red Hunters chapter found him and several other Space Marines in stasis as well. Very cool to read his lore in preparation for this game.
I'd love to know what's wrong with this game that gameplay runs absolutely fine, but it takes me 30 minutes to an hour to get it running including crashes. Is your blackscreen lasting after the cut scene??
So they dropped from space onto the planet with a chemical/viral bomb payload, to load that into a bomb to shoot it into the atmosphere(?). I think there are some steps here that one coud skip😅
You don't know how sad I am when the game freeze during this opening. My pc is not so bad, it but not that good either, it's still can run horizon game in high quality but i'm kinda worried about running this game. When the game freeze I was like "nooooo not this game" But then I restart one time, let the audio plays while the screen froze and BAM, start menu.
This is a terrible look for this game when the first cutscene CRASHES THE FUCKING GAME! I've literally had every single problem I've heard about when trying to play this game, it's one crash after another, this feels just like Helldivers 2 when I would have problems with it.
Game froze for me at the end of the cinematic, apparently it was because I used a VPN. The game apparently doesn't like players with a VPN. Well, that means no Space Marine 2 for me. F games that don't play well with VPNs.
Im here cause mine froze lmao fucking PC gaming is so annoying. Every new release has SHIT UP THE ASS optimization. When I buy a PS5 game it just instantly works.
