Wood elves are my favorite faction. Reading the omnibus has been difficult tho. Too many unfamiliar names and connections makes it difficult to follow. This much easier to digest, thank you!

The only book I read from fantasy was about the wood elves but it was from the point of view of a grail knight who entered a forest of the wood elves and he met them and they eventually helped him on his quest. But I barely remember most of it. But as I remember in the end when he fought alongside the wood elves against a chaos invasions he became 'upgraded'. Holy light and stuff.

Guardians of the Forest. I actually own that book. It was really interesting and it showed their culture in a really cool way. Plus the ending was actually really well done and made you think a bit. Most warhammer books don't have that effect on me.

@@chrisgibson8863 Very nice. Thank you. I got it from a friend to improve my english. Back then it was quite primitive. I had zero knowledge about Warhammer and especially fantasy.

They are my second favourite faction in the lore, right after the Vampire, them being nr.1 for obvious reasons, but funny enough contrary to popular belief, elves and Eldar by Tolkien way are nor vegetarian, however, they do not eat heavy amounts of meat like humans, dwarves, orcs, ogres. etc., but a known preference in terms of meat in their diet is in fact fish or birds, depending on the circumstance, but no one unless you are either build for it or a zombie eats seagulls, that being said they do consume and have their own variations of milk-based products, but wood elves tend to be more advantageous in terms of their diets, so while high elves might have a fancy chicken menu, stag or boa, season, smoked or fresh will be on the wood elves menu, just every day,

You would think they'd just eat fruits and vegetables since they are "in tune" with their forest so much.
