This is what upsets me. Looking at this LARPING with Warhammer fantasy, I can see that there are some really good and passionate people in Russia and I get upset when there is life lost either with Russian lives or Ukranian lives in this pointless war in 2022. As a Southern European I hope one day to travel to either Russia or Ukraine to have a tabletop game of Warhammer or a LARP game of Warhammer. Peace as soon as we can reach it.

its kind of lame whne people just try to poke you with their warhammers and one guy reach around a shield to poke the guy with his sword, you should make people use realistic swing arcs.
Я скучаю по временам когда мы были в стальной броне и в нас при осаде бросали настоящие бревна. Прбовал участвовать в современных LARP но там кажется люди больше боятся повредить свои дорогущие кастюмы чем повеселиться. Мы кстати тоже были в охренительно дорогой броне и её приходилось носить кузнецам после каждой игры
Начнем с того что броня ваша была скорее всего каловым марсом из жести, а не дорогой броней, и носили вы ее к кузнецам потому что она была такая себе если гнулась от пластика-текстолита. Такой же далёкий от настоящей стали, как и резиновые палки. Ролевые игры это ролевые игры, это театр, и современные материалы упрощают порог вхождения. Хочешь нормальной войны - иди в бугурты. Но и для таких как вы проводятся современные тысячные Ларпы на текстолите куда допускают те штуки что вы называете доспехами. Если у вас внезапно шикарный стальной доспех исполненный мастером - покажите, я даже извинюсь.

I cannot imagine a reality in which I would find participating in this entertaining. Maybe one in which I had suffered a frontal lobe injury after a serious motorcycle accident. But probably not even then. Fair play to everyone for the work that went into those costumes - that requires time - but all that effort for this! I’m cringing inside. This is an example of when geekkdom goes bad.
