Three friends and I played on this table last year and we found a little blue die under the bridge. One of our players claimed it and played with it,, it was the most useless die anyone could throw. He took it home and it continues to be the cursed die. We have vowed if we play that table again to put it back. Always worth a look under the bridge !

This is awesome! Like watching a RTS video game. I love the voice overs end the effects. Please make more videos like this. This is way more interesting to watch than players trying to get points or objectives or whatever.

Great batrep. I really like the style you got going here. Those dice rolls were interesting, they really told a story of surprise assault on calth. Now we wait for the finale, right?

Pretty sure that not being able to sweep is just a thing for Cataphractii, but I believe they do indeed have the Heavy keyword. Though at least how my store interprets the rule, an attached non-cataphractii cannot sweep for the unit, as that would kinda make the rule pointless as you'd just put a non-termie in every Cat squad

@@Munchie2011 to die in service of the emperor is the greatest achievement to most Marines though. I get why itd be a thing in 40k when the other factions also have courage checks and the space marines of 40k aren't the same as the space marines of the Horus Heresy but HH is all space marines, there's tactical retreats but not straight up dropping your gun and running away like a little girl because the guy beside you just got shot

@@Roadrun98 Yes I see where you are coming from, But look at it this way. It's got less to do with Courage or moral and more to do with tactics, "he who turns and runs away, lives to fight another day". There is such a thing as a fighting retreat. This is where rear guard units would normally come in. Look at Dunkirk for real life, they were not going to leave everyone to just die when they can fight again. :)

Know no fear is a post heresy idea. The massive psychological conditioning is a 40k thing rather than a 30k thing. So in heresy, marines suffer from fear etc

@@mojotheaverage I never thought of it that way. I do remember something about Saul Tarvitz felt fear when they were loading up the virus bombs intended for Istavaan III that he collapsed in terror.
