Something different and shorter this time around. I still had these lying around on my laptop so I figured I should use them lol there's like less than 20 i didn't have many midis and some of them didn't sound good in minor
how cool would it be if there was a microgame in a future warioware that had its music shift into a minor/major key depending on win/loss state? i feel like with how much GiT utilized special music tracks for microgames it wouldn't be out of the question
Can you do WarioWare Twisted minor microgame tracks in major (themes for Cutting It Close/Welcome Wagon, Crescent Roll, Crazy Straw/Mooove It, D.I.Y., Practical Joker/High Card Draw, Pipe Puzzle, Ice Queen, Safecracker, etc.)
Can you do WarioWare Inc. Mega Microgames microgame music in minor (minor versions of major key music like the themes for Crazy Cars, Saving Face, Super Wario Bros., etc.)
One lesser known secret with the warioware games on the gba is that since it uses a less comon sound engine, It's possible to use dragon unpacker on the roms and have it search for midis, and what you will find in the output folder are midi files for every single sound and music track, but no sound and instrument data.
you can find a midi rip with the soundfont of warioware twisted online somewhere, i dont think every single track is there and a lot of it is sfx but it still does have a good amount
@@manstick64 I got the actuall midi information for all music and sfx by using dragon unpacker on the ROM file but with this method I can't get the sound font.
both warioware gba games are pretty difficult to rip soundfonts from, there are tools to rip gba soundfonts but they only work with sappy (the most common one) which warioware doesn't use. i believe it is possible to rip the samples of twisted (but not inc) with a tool called "gba2midi" and if you have enough knowledge you could compile those samples into a .sf2 or .dls
@@manstick64 don't both twisted and the original use the same non standard sound system though? I would think that getting the sounds would not be an issue with one and not the other. Also Rhythm Tengoku uses the same system as well and I'd be interested in the sounds for that.
