The kicker? By doing this it is closer to reality then most sci-fi settings as funny as it sounds. During Cold War humanity invented nuclear mines, hand held "briefcase" bombs, crew served launchers with nuclear warhead, nuclear artillery shells that can be loaded into any gun above 130mm in caliber or can be equipped to any sort of aircraft. Nowadays we are constantly increasing range and precision of those weapons. Neither of those two exclude the other. If humanity would be forced to abandon all treaties and ethics, we can develop an ATGM that is carried by two people, can fire for 20km, can guide the missile into an open hatch of a vehicle and then make a 10 kiloton explosion. Nowaday tech! People just forget how much we are actually pulling out punches if possible because we aren't all crazy uneducated religious fanatics fighting literal devil... and three other devils;)

Warlords-Sinister didn't get enough attention. Soulless pilots who use failed psykers as expendable human batteries. Throwing blasts of raw non-existence from a weapon the inner workings of which are a blasphemy against everything the Imperium stands for. Built by the Emperor's own hands, to be used in situations you do not want to even try to imagine. A single Warlord-Sinister quelled an entire planetary uprising without ever firing a shot. When they do fire, even the Chaos Gods take notice.

The Ordo Sinister, when even the Emperor with access to genetically enhanced super soldiers, uncountable legions of the Guard, and even regular titan deployments can't solve the problem and Exterminatus isn't an option. You can say that starship guns can do better... until you need to bring starship gun right next to the target on surface level to fire accurate shot because either something is blocking line of sight from orbit or shooting from high angle isn't an option. That's when Titans come into play.

If you need to bring starship level firepower to the ground Adeptus Mechanicus can always build an Ordinatus. Like Ordinatus Armageddon which houses a Nova cannon. It was during the second war for Armgeddon to destroy the Godbreaker.

A group of 5 Warlord/Warbringer/Reaver titans, or Warmonger Class Titans are known to be threats to low orbit Starships, and the Voidshields they carry are comparable to the Voidshields found on said starships only even more condensed.

That is incorrect. They are piloted by psykers, and have a null on board tasked with exechting them if things go sideways.

Fun fact about Titans: Whilst a majority of all Titans are of STC pattern origin, the Emperor class titans are one of the only patterns that are of Mechanicus origin since they are built as true avatars of the Machine God, since each forgeworld comes up with their own design many Emperor class Titans, both Imperator and Warmonger varients, are always unique in design from their forgeworlds origin. This would explain why none are built today and why many can vary from 40 meters tall to confirmed heights of up to 120 meters tall. Also, if you want some good Titan action go watch Helsreach, especially Part 5 for Stormheralds intro.

Love how despite how massive and powerful these Titans are yet... It is still a threat from Infantry with a simple explosive charge. It's like a repeating theme.
