I live in a tropical country and the temp just surpassed 45C today. So I put on poets of Berlin and IT THRIVES. absolutely made my day! Not a fan of indulgent, sugary gourmand like billie eilish or vanilla 28, but this mild, well-blended vanilla in this beauty is just STUNNING.

Great list as always! I didn’t love Poets of Berlin UNTIL I tried it in warm weather. And then I had to have it. Something about the sun hitting my skin while wearing it is sooo good.

Heyyyyy, I’m ready for this video.❤I feel the same way you do about Yum Pistachio. I’m so glad I know to just let perfumes macerated so I can truly get how they should smell. Because now I absolutely loveeeeee Yum and when Sephora has another sale I will buy the 100 ml bottle. Try layering with Poets of Berlin with Lamar. It is my fav combo. I keep trying to tell fragrance influencers who have both to try, it was a wonderful beautiful accident I came across it. Never have received so many compliments on a fragrance ❤ Also YES two videos in a row, we are not worthy 😊

Welcome! If I may suggest, what has worked well for me is purchasing travel sized 8-9ml fragrances from places like Scentbird, fragrancenet, luxury scent box, and royalty scents. I have countless fragrances I want to smell and these resources have been the most affordable way to do so. 🫶🏻

@@jennettecolon7772 I’m so glad you followed up, as I had completely forgotten about the combo. I’m home and just layered them and thus far, it’s so grown and beautiful! It really elevates each of them. I have the Mon Guerlain lotion but always use the corresponding perfume with it. I’m new to layering but think the lotion will be a friendly base. Thanks again! 🫶🏻

I just sprayed Blanche Bête in the 75 degree weather and it was lovely. I was scared due to the milk bite but the white flowers does make this gourmand a little bit more bearable in warmer weather. Love this list!

The cool toned taupe is a great color on you! Where is your tank from? I don’t have EBK but I recently hauled One Umbrella for Two and am surprised that it actually smells of blueberry muffins 🫐 love 🤤 I need to revisit my Poets of Berlin, I wish I got blueberry Ambrosia reminds me of Love Delight! I love so many of these recommendations!! You should also try Cedrus from the Chloe Atelier Des Fleurs line!! It's sooo good and also done by Quentin Bisch who did Vanilla Planifolia. It's woody and fresh and bright! Reminds me a lot of Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt but less salty. It was a blind buy along with Vanilla Planifolia and both are just beautiful!!

Thanks for this! I have soo been looking for “fresh gourmands” and no one talks about this. All youtubers associate summer with plain citrus and beachy coconut tropical scents. There are other scent profiles including sweet fragrances appropriate for summer. Great recs!🧡

I was watching your summer recommendations from last year and was surprised to hear you mention Gritti Gossip Night there . I purchased a sample off your previous recommendation from a different video and when I tried it , I instantly felt it was a fall or winter perfume😅 it’s so interesting how we picked up very different notes from it as well . I get an almost spicy but still creamy and vanilla , but for me the peach is more of a roasted or sautéed peach 🍑. I’m loving it though! Such a perfect case of different olfactory receptors and perceptions. All that said , I sprayed it this morning for this bright sunny spring day and I see how it works 🧡
