I just realized that I’m listening to this playlist as I sit eating cereal, warming myself with the flames in the fireplace As I think about teenage mutant ninja turtles, but my point still stands that it’s kinda interesting that it just happened that way
The room was cloaked in shadows as the hero stood face-to-face with the villain. The air hung heavy with tension, and accusations were exchanged like invisible arrows. "Warming your hands on bridges you've burnt," the hero accused, a tone of moral superiority in their voice. The villain's lips curled into a sly smile, a spark of defiance in their eyes. "No," they replied, their voice a low rumble, "I'm melting the chains of tyranny and slavery that bound and confined me." At first, the hero dismissed the words as another attempt at manipulation. Yet, as the seconds ticked by, a subtle shift occurred. The hero's gaze lingered on the villain's face, and in the dim light, they began to discern the lines of hardship etched into the villain's features. The hero's confidence wavered, and a seed of doubt took root. The realization unfolded like a slow, haunting melody. As they looked deeper, past the mask of malevolence, they saw the scars of a turbulent past. The bridges burned were not acts of wanton destruction but desperate attempts at liberation. A pregnant pause enveloped the room, and the hero's accusatory stance faltered. The revelation echoed in the silence, challenging the hero's preconceived notions. The hero, grappling with the weight of this newfound understanding, began to question the simplicity of their worldview. In the subtle nuances of the villain's expression, the hero discerned a story untold, a narrative painted in shades of gray rather than stark black and white. The room became a battleground not only for physical confrontation but also for the clash of conflicting perspectives and the slow unraveling of a truth hidden beneath layers of animosity.
I'd write you into one of my stories if you allowed me to use that line o.o.... daaaaaamn. The difference between a hero and a villain is a matter of perspective. What you call "heads" i may see as "tails", and that too, differs by coin and place
In "Another Level" it says something along the lines of "chain breaker, earthshaker, rain maker" and it reminds me of Poseidon/Neptune ... I love that so much💜 even if it's not referring to Greek/Roman Mythology💜
If someone creates a villain and monster with how they treated them then they have destroyed that person completely and to the point they see themselves as that monster with no point of redemption
I listened to this walking home, got home and went to wash my hands and heard “I’m in the bathroom lookin’ at me, facing the mirror…” As I was in the bathroom washing my hands in front of a mirror Y’all, I think this is a sign!
If I'm going to burn my bridges I'll make sure to burn them with it... I mean lets not waste the remaining matches 🤔 with that in mind why not also burn their house completely down 🤫 Arson really do lift my spirits up ❤
Yeah, I know this is for me because some of my friends added me to a group chat and within 1 minute I had already made an enemy, 2 minutes and they left the group. The last thing they saw was me saying, let’s burn some bridges
love this playlist!!! and can you please bring back the playlist you deleted from a few days ago. it really helped me calm down from my anxiety. or at least comment the songs you used in it
Damn, this playlist feels so good. It's almost as if I'm not writing scientific research papers but either playing the piano in a lonely dark room or doing something wicked while reminiscing about the people and things I loved and lost...
random quote i felt like sharing: "A quick glance to the --- --- saw --- explaining something to the other --- with a sparkling flourish. Beside him, --- looked ready to throw her coffee in his face."
The hero arrived to the alleyway just as they were expected to. They walked toward where the villain stood, with their arms out stretched to a burning barrel. The hero spoke with authority, "So now what, youre just done destroying lives? Did you get bored of it?" The villain didnt turn around, only replied, "No, I never found it fun to start with. I'm just finished. I did everything I wanted to. There's no one else for me to make pay." The hero's arms were folded. "So this was a revenge thing." The villain watched the fire peacefully, "I guess it looks like that." Hero: "You ruined lives... Broke apart a family." Villain: "They ruined and broke themselves. I just took liberty to show that to everyone." "You're a monster." The hero said blankly. There was a pause from them both. The hero wondered what kind of expression the villain had on their face, and found what it was when they turned their head to them. "What is a monster but a wounded animal defending itself?" The hero fell silent. They weren't sure they were supposed to answer that question. The villain looked back at the hot fire, "It's cold tonight. You should warm your hands." Hero: "Such an open fire is too dangerous to have your hands at. It should be put out before it spreads." The villain doesn't come up with a response. Instead, they watch quietly as the hero steps just a bit closer after a small shiver comes over them. "How come you're so content with the terrible things you've done. You're warming yourself with isolation." The hero didnt expect to see a smile, a sincere and soft smile; on the villain's face. The hero studied their features deeper. As the fire danced, their face looked gentle- fagile even. The hero didn't think he was looking at a criminal. There was no evil in front of them, they saw a homeless soul (a scarred body) and began to wonder if this was the person the hero was looking for. The fire cracked, like it was stretching; waking up a realization in the hero. This was not a face of a monster, this was a 'wounded animal defending itself.' "Okay." The villain pulled their hands from the fire and put them into thin pockets. They turned their whole body to face the hero, "I'm ready to go to jail now."
Ik some of the songs in this playlist are upbeat, but the playlist gives me a melancholic feeling for the villain. As if this is the music they hear as they aren't experiencing the villainy, but looking back on it after completing their goal.
This won't relate with many but maybe have them have a younger sibling or 2 that they have to raise instead of the parents or they could have Alcoholic dad/mom to make it seem like there more human then the hero had thought ... Just an idea tho ❤❤
"you thought you could change me back? hahahahahaha. its funny and i do appreciate the efforts but..the old me is buried 6ft under, and only i have the ability to change back but..heh- i just chose not to~"
Sometimes when you burn bridges you don’t understand that you’ve Burnt one of the bridges of the people that has helped you the most and you won’t realize that until it’s too late
