Warn ProVantage 2500 Winch on 2019 Yamaha Grizzly

‘19 Grizzly EPS LE picked up recently, installed winch as per instructions with a few other tips to help anyone else out putting one in. Bought the winch off eBay for $200 and mounting plate for $90. Both were open box items and basically new in box.

And can you still do wheelies with the winch on there or is it too heavy

Yeah it does wheelies no problem, I’ve been meaning to add the EHS tuner to it for a while but just haven’t pulled the trigger yet

I just got 2021 Grizzly, thinking this would fit on it as well? Thoughts? Thank you for the video!

So you plugged the winch into the wire harness that goes to the 12V outlet... does that mean you can't use the outlet now?

The outlet still works, it just basically plugs in parallel with the power for the outlet.

@@Eighty8Fitter Thanks. That spot for the contactor is about the only place on the machine! I'm stuck trying to find anywhere. How did you get it to mount to the back of the winch plate?

so the winch and heated hand grips are plug and play? i ordered heated grips and a winch for a 21 grizzly and a 21 kodiak from yamaha and the salesman said that they were not plug n play...i know salesman don't always know what they're talking about...thx

Yes they were all plug and play from Yamaha, no cutting or splicing needed
