The little Helen McCrory sign really warms my heart. As a Slytherin its nice to see our flags up as if we won the house cup although Gryffindor gets points for breathing lmao.

Something fun to do with the dragons would be to hang them from the bottom of a shelf using clear fishing line…but I sure understand the “which dragon would YOU get” idea as well.
I have Draco’s wand. It is quite basic, but I also love the simplicity as well. The Monster Book of Monsters is SO CUTE! I can’t wait to visit the studio tour again!
when I was in the UK in 09 I stopped in at Alnwick Castle...whilst there I purchased a small Hedwig and posed with her and my travel companions I've taken on all my overseas trips...and yes, have pics of flying on a broomstick, somewhere..
We was there on the Tuesday. Arrived late due to major accidents but the staff where incredible, ready and waiting for us, giving the kiddies a full tour guide experience, they even snook them through the corridor ( sadly missed the great hall ) but it was just as magical seeing artwork etc behind the scenes. I can't commend them enough. The kiddies where in tears, worried we missed our slot but they made it extra special !
The story behind the design of Draco's wand is pretty fun imo, so long story short, during the first 2 films all of the students had extremely basic wand designs, many of them just looking like Draco's but in different shades of black/brown or with different handles. (look at Harry and Draco's duel in the chamber of secrets or the Wingardium Leviosa lesson from the Philosopher's stone for close up examples). During the making of the 3rd film they wanted each character to have unique looking wands, just like the teachers did (you briefly get to see Mcgonnagal, Snape and Lockheart's fancy looking wands in Chamber of Secrets), so this is when you first see Hermione's vine-covered wand, Harry/Ron's rough carved handles ect. However Tom Felton (Draco's Actor) was particularly attached to his original wand and didn't want it changed. They agreed to let him keep the basic design as it still meant he had a 'unique' looking wand compared to film 3 onward's other character wands. This means that Draco's wand design remained completely unchanged all the way from him attempting Windgardium Leviosa in HP1 to Harry using Draco's wand to destroy Voldemort in the Deathly Hallows part 2. :)

i need the studio tour to make the vests you wear under your robe rather than the thick cardigans. i have the ravenclaw house cardigan/sweater and, as a resident of florida, it’s so so so hot. i always think of what luna wore in the DA meetings (the vest) and i wish they had one i could get as opposed to the thick cardigan!

I visited it for the first time last year as a birthday gift, it's safe to say that nothing can beat the experience and magic I got from this tour, best thing ever

I just went to the studio tours in London for the first time and it was the best time of my life! And I was crying of happiness when I found out it was Slytherin Celebration. Had to get a chocolate frog 😌
Omg I really recently went too the tour for my first time and it was celebration of Slytherin it was the most magical thing I've ever done I also went crazy in the gift shop cherry your not the only one with a problem.
I wish there was a book of monsters notebook that would move its eyes and mouth if u pressed a certain button. I never know what else to buy when I go to Harry Potter world now lol x

i got a customised sign in wood that says 'evies cave, wizards welcome, muggles tolerated' and i love it! i have a spair little tiny room in my bedroom and i made it into harry potters cupboard under the stairs and put the sign above it with some fairy lights

I’m going to the Warner brothers studio again for my birthday next week Saturday and I’m planing on spending my money in the gift shop 😂. Also I’m a Slytherin so lucky me my b day is when the celebration of slytherin is.
I was supposed to visit the studios for the very first time for the Slytherin celebration but unfortunately travel restrictions have made it impossible for me to go :( So really hoping they do that again sometime! I really enjoy seeing what's new in terms of magical merch!
