I love that place. I was there about 20 years ago. Boat trip and the popeye village. Also hired a wee boat and went quite far out. The people are so friendly as well.
Hi Kevin You can buy a 7 day bus pass for 21 euro and go anywhere on the island, the only down fall is the buses can be pretty packed at peak times and in the evening as the island is so densly populised. I always get one because you can get the airport bus too which is a good saving.
Mr.McNally, smashing video as always, last time I was in Malta was 1984 in the Hotel Medetteraneo in Bugubba, ok holiday but the Nightlife wasn't great so haven't been back, although it looks a lot more modern and clean now. We hired a car then too, an old Morris marina (remember them), the guy was showing me the car and I noticed there was no ignition key lock, he pointed to a button on the dash and said it starts the engine, there was a piece of string hanging out the dash and he said pull that to stop the engine, it was cheap but what a banger, still, it took us round the island. I've been to Malta 5 times in the last 7 years, staying at the soreda hotel in quara. Absolutely love the place. 650 all inclusive for 7 nights. Would recommend it to anyone for a nice peaceful quiet holiday.
Rabat still has the old buses and I'm glad your in my favourite place in Malta in buggiba and if you need food you need to try Peking Chinese restaurant it's incredible highly recommended and Uncle Harry's aswell and Maltese beer is amazing aswell.

Ah nice , he's due back out end Nov he's normally in taylors and few bars down the front, he will probably go into buddies if the regulars still go in.
