I have an LT Wright Genesis, but I have to admit it is a complete safe queen. But I actually USE my Joker knives. That extra inch and a half on the Nomad really helps you get leverage for chopping compared to the 5 inch, and its convex edge geometry and chip resistant stainless steel make it almost a survival knife. The matching red liners in the handle and the fero rod are also a very classy touch. You are starting to be the 'go to guy' on RU-vid for Joker knife reviews. I love them. Keep it up.
I like knives. They are really good for cutting things. The handle is blunt but the blade isn’t. magnacut or S30V steel is my fav, depending on the environment, the exposed tang isn’t good in the cold. just saying.
The heat treatment definitely matters. Been using my nomad for both batonning and chopping some larger pieces for three or four months now with no deformation whatsoever. Just needs the occasional touch up with the strop
