Speaking as a guitarist of some 25 years, I think Emily's guitar work on this song is borderline genius, supports and enhances the vocal line amazingly well without ever competing with or pulling away from it. You can hear how she's revised and enhanced it slightly over the years, I really prefer it to the original recording, would love for them to rerecord it.

Yes in all respects! And I think the same thing can be said for Theresa's guitar work in the background during & supporting Emily's vocal --from around 5:10 to 6:10. I'd love for Warpaint to release a compilation of recordings of some of their best live performance song renditions, particularly "Beetles" "Elephants" "Bees" and "Undertow". Warpaint is an absolutely great live/festival band!

Im not a guitarist like yal cats. Im actually an afro cuban percussionist. But yea im not an expert in your lane but it seems they flip it upside down so to speak. Vocals n guitar then switch. They do it in many of their numbers. Do me a favor and go watch the performance of Heads Up & Krimson at the same Glastonbury concert. Its INCREDIBLE!!!! Again the goddesses at work the way they do. The transition from number to number is fuckin epic. And again Emily so damn tasty with her ethereal tone. U can definitely hear Frusciante in her playin. Shit they were together so it makes sense. Anyway just go check it out. U won't be sorry. Enjoy my bros
