Personally, I am in awe and admiration of Warren Bufffet. To see him age , to hear his voice weak but still astute in his mind. And Charlie Munger? He is a consistent bad ass.
Just bought a 2lb box nothing like See's candy... The molasses chips in dark chocolate are the bomb, as are the dark chocolate covered caramels, yum so good very hard to share.
Sees Candy is the best tasting candy than Mars or Hershey’s, also you can build your own box of candy that you like! also Sees Makes their candy by hand not a machine!
What a dumb question. Is good because it's small and handmade. I don't touch comercial candy, it is horrible. The model should not be messed with any more than they did when they bought Sees and added Vanillin.
Not a dumb question. A question that many investors were thinking but don't dare to ask. My takeaway is, Berkshire isn't great at marketing See's Candies. Or the fundamental appeal of See's Candies (which I don't know what it is), is simply not scalable.
@@wildreams i read this on youtube: someonesaid because see's sold thier products at a premium price and hence they didnt manage to scale all over and because the brand was so strong in california people paid premium prices there. Just someones's take, not exactly the reason.
