Hey Atrioc I know you may feel like your war against buy now pay later is going nowhere, but I want to let you know as a young man in the us I have been very cautious and completely avoided these super predatory companies because of all the times you have warned against it. That lack of debt is super huge for me, and I appreciate your warning because without that, I'm totally am the type of person who would have possibly fallen for something like that. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Making money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investments aren't well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.. well at least my advisor does lol.

Each competitor has a small but sufficient enough piece of the pie that they aren't gonna knock the whole thing off the table.

These refrigerators that looked like giant Dr Pepper cans were always restocked. This is when I became a fan of Dr Pepper. They understand marketing!

I used buy now pay later especially from PayPal last summer. I was broke and couldn't afford to get food, so for three months in a row I had to buy 'too good to go' (bakery overproduction) and pay it off the month after. Glad I'm out of it now, really stressful situation and I can't see bread with mustard anymore.

I just found out about this buy now pay later, I do use it because currently when we want to buy something its quite literally impossible to buy something.

Not sure if related, but with the inflation going on in Eastern Europe, sodas became extremely expensive, sometimes 3 times the price 3 years ago. Dr Pepper is the only soda brand that has not gotten more expensive and currently the cheapest in all big supermarkets.
