One of Louisiana's premier programs took the field for their 2019 spring game with Warren Easton matching up with Sophie B. Wright. The Eagles put up over 40 points with top 2020 RB A'shaad Clayton leading the way with 3 TD runs. We also got a good look at 2022 QB Stephen Banford Jr. heading into his first full season as a starter and he has several weapons at receiver in Alred Luke Jr., Jewell Holmes and Casey Cain. Wright also showed they have the potential to be better than expected with some intriguing athletes on both sides of the ball led by 2020 ATHs Tyree Skipper and Tim Conerly.
