@@maisieomara7563 The song actually came out originally in 1982. It was written and sang by the "blue-eyed soulman" Michael McDonald. All Warren G did was re-mix the song and add some beats. Now, don;t get me wrong I like Warren G's version also but it should be well known that it wasn't a "fresh" song written from scratch by Warren G. He took someone else's song and did a re-make. Like most rappers do. 😉
I played this at my dad's funeral, he used to listen to it on repeat when I was a kid. Every weekend I'd hear this atleast 4-5 times. And everytime I hear it now, I cry, but it's good. I've never had a song effect me more than this. I love it. RIP Nate, RIP Dad ❤❤❤
I've had this song stuck in my head all day. I miss Nates smooth ass voice. RIP man. Don't get me started on the beat. Still holds all these years later
I keep forgettin' We're not in love anymore. I keep forgettin' Things will never be the same again. I keep forgettin' How you made that so clear - I keep forgettin' baby.
I went to jail in like 2007 and hadnt heard this song in like almost 10 yrs but for some reason, it was stuck in my head the whole time I was in intake (process takes like 15 hrs)😂 I think my mind was trying to chill bc I really just wanted a cigarette so bad and some fresh air bc everybody knows the county jail smells like 💩
R.I.P. Nate. Probably the best beat ever. Been rolling with this song since it came out. I'm 57 and my son is 11 and listens to it like I did and still do.
"Sixteen in the clip, and one in the hole. Nate Dogg is about to make some bodies turn cold." One of the dopest most OG Triple Triple gangster shit I've ever heard. I used to hear this every day with my dad when I was about 8 lol still to this day....most smooth badass song ever. Don't even get me started on that NASTY bass line.
I grew up near Culver City! I went to Hamilton High school! Does anyone know me my family calls me Bobby! I hope I didn’t offend anyone! Thanks for sending me that video! I love RU-vid! But, is it Free ?
This song has been one of my all time favorites since it was new on the radio lol. I remember it playing the first time I ever got drunk in my life!! 🍺🍷🍻I’m not going to tell y’all how old I am, but you can do the math 😂

A dead soul can't rest in peace. A soul dies it doesn't rest or pass on. You are a soul yourself. When you die that's it, till the second coming of Jesus on the first resurrection of the just..or the second resurrection of the wicked to face hell after 1000 years.
R.I.P. NATE, One of the dopeest songs ever 💯 Warren G is hard. 🔥 One of the best hip hop songs ever n one that made me fall in love with rap... IF You Smoke Like I Smoke Then Ya.......
