They're fun and communal. I keep 3 together with no problems other than the 2 males chasing the female. They need to burrow so they'd be happier with soil and something to hide under.
I was told no one has figured out how to breed them yet. I was also told no one knows how to sex them but by observing them I'm pretty sure I have 2 males and one female. They do look slightly different. When a male mounts the female has indents where his mandibles can latch on. Throw all of yours together and you'll get to see how they interact. They spend most time under the soil only coming out for food or drink.
Cool, they should be happy now. I have 3 in a shoe box sized enclosure. Just soil and pieces of wood they can hid under. They're too slow to catch roaches so I feed them wounded superworms and crickets. Supposedly they also eat fruit but I had no luck with that.
