But why so underrated?? No one have heard its name. I found it when i was searching for best action series, at that time first i found Banshee than this Warrior series.
The fact that they can give us a 45 minute episode where they basically spend 35 minutes fighting and still manage to give us deeply emotional scenes, with great performances, shows what an incredible writing team they have. It was so well balanced, here and there a bit of breathing room, and the action is beyond spectacular and brutal.
It's called "fighting with purpose", other than some stupid fighting stuff with no purposes. What bothers me is that, those Hollyweed weed smokers are gonna cancel the show
@@happzy based on viewer-ratings, it probably will get canceled. S1's lowest viewer-rate is higher than S2's highest viewer rate. S2 viewer rate is incredible low for some reason.
3 to 4 season (like Banshee), that would be the foot. You shouldn't do too much of the season either. The masterpieces are that do not abuse the season. As : Breaking Bad, Six Feet Under, Banshee, Rectify, Black Sails, Justified, Mr Robot, Person Of Interest, Fringe...
Crazy episode Andrew koji killed it in the nunchuck scene and to title “enter the dragon” makes the episode much more badass!! We all need a season 3 pls!!!!
Warrior for my money is absolutely the best series on television ! Sad thing is not enough people know about it .... It's very realistic and multilayered !

@Ah Sahm Well then, i think Hollyweed hates Bruce Lee, and this isn't the first time i see this. Remember the show Kung Fu that Bruce was the one who wrote the entire script fot it? They stole his credit for that and casted him out. Now those Hollyweed producers have to actually put Bruce Lee's name in his work, and therefore they can no longer steal his credit, then they intend to shut him down. Unbelievable. I watched just 2 seasons and already, i can tell you that this show is gonna kick a lot of other American' shows, such as Game of Thrones for example. Even fans of Game of Thrones hated the ending of Season 8, and they already liked this show, i'm not making it up. Hell, i even think that a lot the commentors here are Game of Thrones fans, i am one of them. This kind of behavior is the reason why Asians like me know Racism towards Asians is real, and we don't imagine it.
That’s how I found out and now I’m hooked and telling other people to watch lol. Saw the whole series in 4 days. Can’t wait for season 3 to make its way.

Exactly! I still remember that scene in season 1 where the flame of the burning building is reflecting on Leary's eyes. The tone, the lighting and the camera movement was just perfect! It was so damn cool!
This has become within two months one of my favourite shows ever. Thank you and The Dragon for conceiving it all. What an amazing cast! And thank you for making Andrew Koji a hell of a lot of money. My cohort grew up idolizing Bruce Lee and to my eyes Koji has been wonderful at capturing his spirit... and kicking ass. And if not him, Chen Tang! Again, an amazing cast, so many actors I look forward to watching over the next decades and saying, "they were fucking awesome in Warrior."
SPOILERS, POSSIBLY: One thing that might get overlooked in all the glorious carnage is what this episode shows about Young Jun - that he is in fact capable of leading the Hop Wei on his own. He understands that he's picking a fight with basically the entire city of San Francisco, and you can see it weighs on him heavily; if he was less bold he would've locked the Hop Wei HQ down and waited the riot out but - while obviously limiting the casualties - this likely would've cost the Hop Wei the support of the Chinatown community. When the Long Zii turn up to fight beside the Hop Wei it's a badass moment, but it also vindicates Young Jun's decision - if the Long Zii confronted the rioters alone, even if they'd likely have taken heavy casualties, their stock in Chinatown would've shot through the roof. Best thing is, Young Jun probably didn't consciously think any of it - he had a hard call to make and he made it; that it was the correct one speaks volumes about his command instincts. I think both Father Jun and possibly Ah Sahm - if what Ah Toy said about his designs on Hop Wei leadership checks out further down the line - have seriously underestimated Young Jun.
They better not cancell this show, if they do, I hope netflix picks it up. Seriously this show is the best show out right now. I was working out while watching this, and I had to stop and drop everything I was doing when the fight came on.
Warrior is a powerful, masterful series, production values are top rate, acting and character development tru;y inspiring, i subscribed to HNO max soley for this series. As a Big fan of Bruce Lee I just ahd to watch this series. Shannon Lee and company have served Bruce's original 8 page treatment into a martial arts historical epic....Much Gratitude for ALL that came together to make this series come to life. Next up Ang Lee's biopic of Bruce Lee...Keep Shining Brightly Sifu Lee!!!
This by far was the best episode in the series. Seeing both tongs coming together and fighting for Chinatown and those perfect shots with the fighting and god damn Ah Sahm
Whooo, episode 9 was absolutely phenomenal (one of the best episode of the year, not sorry Mandalorian). And the last one looks just as crazy. Go Warrior fans, have to send tons of messages to HBO Max (they have acquired the rights to the series). So that he moves to renew the series for a Season 3. 👏🔥❤️
one of the best seasons ever I recommend it to my friends they literally lost their shit. This is the fire we need in series. Please I beg you to continue it.
This apisode gave me chills. The whole season, the whole show is awesome, but the Hop Wey and the Long Zi sidded up to fight the irish invasion is just incredible.
Most underrated tv show, characters are amazing, dialogue fantastic, great acting, fighting bloody, brutal and very violent and anything with martial arts..I'm watching it. If they cancel I'll be pissed, maybe they don't renew, they can move to netflix, amazon, HBO..get a petition, kind of like Expanse show..another show that is great, cancel on Syfy and picked up on Amazon...Thank you.
Such an incredible show. As a Chinese I’m connecting so much emotionally in ways I didn’t know I could. Really recommend toning down sex and gore scenes to reach a bigger audience.
