I guess that's one interpretation. I disagree though on interpretation, fear is absolutely a tool that you should use. If you acknowledge your fear and push forward still, that is when true courage shines. Ignoring the darker side of yourself is literally what will hold you back, learn it and accept it as part of you. Those who only talk of light, hope, joy, happiness I say can not be honest nor know what those words truly mean. At worst they are willfully and knowingly hurting others only talking of such. At best, which the largest portion I would say fall. They are not only living in fear not embracing the fact they have that side, but are also ignorantly hurting those they speak to about such. Balance requires both equally in my opinion.
