not how the game works. both players must agree to end a phase. you cant just go to your mp1 and say your opponent missed it since they have to agree upon you leaving your draw and standby

Burn player is correct. Wanghu effect is a mandatory Trigger effect. These cannot activate in the middle of a Chain that is being resolved. If Wanghu was a Continuous Effect, then you would be. Be it's not.
