Warriors Orochi (無双OROCHI, Musou OROCHI) is a crossover series fusing the worlds of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors. Originally, the game Warriors Orochi was supposed to be a parting game for current-gen consoles, namely the PlayStation 2. It was also meant to be a "wish fulfillment" production for both fans and developers alike.
However, due to the success and fan reaction of the first game, Koei made a series out of the concept. They also broadened their range of characters by adding historical and mythical figures from time periods predating the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series.
About Warriors Orochi 4:
Warriors Orochi 4 (無双OROCHI3, Musou Orochi 3; lit. Unmatched Orochi 3) is the latest installment of the crossover series Warriors Orochi.
Development began alongside Warriors All-Stars at the end of 2016. The producer is Masaki Furusawa while the story supervisor is Suikoden writer Yoshitaka Murayama.
Plot:
Having forgotten the events of the previous installment, the heroes of the Three Kingdoms and Warring States are suddenly brought back to Orochi's world by Zeus, one of the Twelve Olympians. To return to their respective eras once more, they seek to find eight mysterious bangles with aid from the Mystics who remembered the past conflict.
All non-guest characters from the previous title return for the sequel. Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires and Samurai Warriors 4-II characters and visuals are being used for the playable cast. Six new additions are included: Zeus, Athena, Perseus, Ares, Odin and Mizuchi.

My favourite warrior on each series : 1. Warriors Orochi : Nobunaga (at story and gameplay mechanic, this character has to be 1st) 2. Warriors Orochi 2 : Sun Wukong (You got fast movement without horse, OP power button, and Fun Combo) 3. Warriors Orochi 3 : Wang Yuanji (A stoic girl playing with daggers ? C'mon bruh) 4. Warriors Orochi 4 : Diamondback (it's not even a question)

For me, the real hero of first warriors orochi are Nobunaga. He's the last and the most powerful threat that human give to orochi so far, without coalition, based on WO 2 orochi story. During the first warriors orochi, he predict that cao pi would led a rebellion against orochi, as he testing him on wei story, he sent sakon to Wu to join Sun Ce cause, leading another rebellion against orochi. In the end everything going as he schemed. And because of that, for me, the samurai story in WO is the canon one.

Next Warrior Orochi game I need more Orochi & Orochi X on the same team. But they build a new army. With like 8 new characters that are actually good and enjoyable to play with. Orochi actually wins. So you can set up the next one where we gotta come up with away to beat them. Then boom they finally let us create characters and allow our character to be apart of the story.

Nah, I just need the characters (Orochi and Orochi X) be more involved in more storylines rather than just having scenarios with all the new guest characters. It’s called Warriors Orochi for a reason and all I see are those guest characters getting more screen time.

@@deweyoogwey you know what would be cool is actually going through the initial attack that orochi inflicts on all the factions from their perspective and the slow but horrifying realisation that they need to flee as things go bad and in later missions his appearance makes things go wrong rather than fighting him once and completely clowning him.

WO4 was so meh lol. Literally they shoulda stuck to chinese/japanese mythology. Once they put norse/greek gods in it, it literally was just a hot mess. Orochi was his own side character in his game.

The only sequel i hate storywise, is Orochi 4.. It is called Orochi, but he felt like a side character to the gods.. Please remove the gods.. I like them, especially Hades, but they just mess with the original story too much..
