I listen to that regularly along with Amazing Grace. I love the way he ends it, and then you hear the eagle cry right after, Amazing Grace is phenomenal. Dan has a superb singing voice and he is quite a showman.
Dan has the best 80s screams I’ve heard in a long time! I have seen this many times but you guys made it really fun! You need to check out his Witcher covers, Bring Me To Life or his cover of I’ll Make A Man Out Of You, Mulan metal cover. Dan is so versatile. I know what it's going to be, but I want you to be surprised when he releases it. He did release a very short teaser on his social media and it sounded absolutely amazing! My personal favorite (sort of) Metal-ish version of this song is actually that of Saltatio Mortis (bascially a German Folk metal band) - it's sung partly in Old Norse, too, and if you do not stomp to any given shore and enter a boat right after the song ends, I don't know what. :) Give them a try - they are great folks and the video is cool. However: I found it even more amazing that Dan Vasc did all the voices and everythin in here all alone. So much work to put all of this together - and the outcome is awesome. 😃

I really got a kick out of your reaction to this Viking War Song. I thought you might like to know that for his biggest fans, Dan has an E Book on his methods for protecting your vocal chords. He said in a chat I heard, that when you sing metal music, the best thing to do when you are done singing to to be completely silent the rest of the day. Do not talk or anything so your vocal chords can rest. This is why he does not perform live as there are always requests for interviews and meeting people afterwards. Voiceplay does an incredible acapella version of this song. They are in the same costumes and makeup as they were for Valhalla Calling, but Cesar wasn't with them yet, so they featured Jose Rosario Jr., who was in the Drunken Sailor video. They consider Valhalla Calling as a sequel to it.
