This beer is nicely balanced, both chocolaty sweet, and slightly hoppy and bitter. If you like a Tiramisu, you will like the beer. I even feel a slight Tiramisu note.
Well done video flick. I'm drinking a Brewers Gold while watching the video. My palate is not sophisticated enough to discern orange honey blossom but I do get the sweetness of the malt yet the hops although are in the back seat behind the driver, the two combined make for a very drinkable beer. It reminds me of a marzen with slightly sweeter overtones with a touch more density and mouthfeel. This a beer I could drink a lot of in a session. On another note, I've been drinking the USA imported Warsteiner pils and dunkels since the early 1990's. And while yes, they are not the best from Germany, but still damn good beer and better than any American beers. Having said that I find that American big brewery and local craft American beers are shite and I don't drink them. For the last few years I've only enjoyed Czech or German beer. The best!
I expected to see that this beer was going to be a dark beer because of the colour of the can. I saw it for sale here in the Netherlands but I never thought about getting a can of this.
@@TheBierHooligan WARSTEINER is selling 24 pack of .33 in cans from anywhere from 19.99 to 22.99 right now. My problem right now is that 24 Paulaner Marzen, the old Oktoberfest beer they only brew for the States, was 26.99.
