Been playing BG3 for the past month. I was looking for another strategy turn based game and i must say, WarTales is pretty nice. I like how easy it is to add someone to your crew, and also how easy it is to loose them in battle, that you have to feed them and pay them. Real thought out. How big the world is? is there Dungeon? Rare weapon? (my only comment is i wish there were bags to organize things. )
I just got this game a few days ago. Thank you for the guides to help me get into it. One thing I'd like to say about camping with a high danger level. I found a situation in which doing this actually worked out well for me. I was wanted for stealing gear, low on energy, and I had a guard unit that was causing me problems. When I rested, he attacked me, but I didn't get any extra suspicion for killing him. So, if you don't want to pay him off and don't want the extra suspicion from defending yourself against him, provoking an attack by resting might not be a bad idea. I reported it, but I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature.
Normally if you kill suspicious Guard, your wanted level rises like crazy so I guess you were lucky ^^ going Rogue in this game eventually turns into a hide and seek game for many in game days which sucks imo but can be fun if you want to go for it :D
How about an update on this one since a lot has changed since the vid was made. Especially the locations where to find the blue prints and the improvements to some of the camp gear would be nice to be discussed
It’s in the prison north of tiltren. After you pay to get through the border to the north of the starting region, you head west and find a prison tower like the one in tiltren.
Wish there was a basic guide with, no spoilers. All these guides gives away the fun in discovery. But at the same time struggling with the basic. Resting mechanics, moving and running around, fishing.
God damnt ... I am now for like hour looking for where to find beehive. Everyone is saying beehive gives me honey. Well no shit. I just wanna know how to fid it as I really wanna some honey for cooking. But I seems not to be able to unlock it.
Interesting question! It is worth giving a try why I also think the laundering happens when you don't rest lets say. It probably happend for X% every X time that passes in the game. You would be able to use them, then launder during rests, which would quickly launder some %, but will probably be less quick compared to having the items inside the chest all the time lets say. U also have the chance that when u get caught by the guard, they will take them from you, while i think when they are in the chest, you are safe (not 100% sure about this)
You can also use influence to upgrade your stats (e.g. from + to ++) if you unlock the ability. So if you don't get a weapon or something obviously useful, you should sell the ancient artifacts found via the lectern? They don't all add up to something? You forgot to include the banner, which is different in that you have to remember to use it AFTER you rest. That's another use for your influence points.
I have camped many times and stolen items aren't being laundered. I have most of my guys at the tent and put the chest by my thief. Do i need to seperate my thief and chest to make it work?
May I ask if anyone has tried to recruit a prisoner from prison? Does it cause any problems like wanting revenge or someone coming after you or wanting to commit crimes? Thanks for the answer
Should not be too much of a big deal over time, while it might affect relationships between Companions. Sometimes they don't really agree with a decision you make, while they usually become best friends if in the same party for a long long time :D
