I have just bought one 5 strings 2011 after watching this video. The sound of this bass has blown my mind, the detinition of the low B string is incredible, the bass is super light and also has a lot of sound. I will never sell it, and I think I was so lucky to finding it.
I had a Warwick a couple of years ago. I was fine after having my old one sold, but after this video I want a Warwick again. The slap tone is simply amazing.
I have this identical bass, but it is a 2000 and the previous owner had changed the gold hardware for black hardware. Also it doesn't have fretboard dots. I didn't think I'd get on with the wide neck spacing as I don't have the largest hands, but I actually find it very comfortable. Thanks for posting the video, great playing. Cheers.
I love the sound of this bass, it's unique, clean, the slap sounds huge and aggressive, but your way of playing is even better! By the way, is the nut made of bone? Normally Warwicks usually have a just-a-nut made of brass or tedur.
Laughed at the wide string spacing. I have a 4 string jazzman with super tight spacing (think it's 16.5 mm) and I recently got a 6 string bubinga corvette fretless and the string spacing is 20mm! Have gotten used to it now though haha! After a lot of practice.
i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost the password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
@Edwin Jordy I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Would you recommend this bass overall? How does the wide neck feel? I’m thinking of picking one up from reverb. They can be spendy but I feel like they’d be worth it.
